I went to the party, got a gold achievement for Mad King Says (and a hat) but didn’t get an achievement for “attending the party” even though my bf got it and we were there are the same time (grouped). He also go the Emissary of the Mad King title even though he has only completed the same number of achievements as me (he has attend the party but not pumpkin carving) my list only shows credit for 4 when I have done 5 (not including the party).

Finished the mad king says bit in lions arch.

Got the witch hat from the chest, got gold credit for mad king says, didnt get the achievement “Attend the party”

What am I missing?

Bug possibly? Also Mad King glitched about 80% into it and disappeared and i couldn’t hear his voice either XD but just read the dialogue

Zone out of LA and then zone back in. I got the achievement.

Log in and back out, I have the title.

I didn’t get it either, though I only got silver. I do have 4/5 for the title, though. =[ Was hoping to get it real quick before work, but I guess I’ll have to wait until after, unless it’s bugged for some people.

wait hold that thought, mad king reappeared and we’re walking together! event not complete??

relogging gave me the achievement

I didn’t get the achievement either.

I did complete the quest with a silver as well. He disappeared for me and was completely lost in the chat. I missed one emote command.

I think it loops over and over. Easy to get Karma I spose

Relog and you’ll get the achievement and title.

Try relogging first, I had a problem similar to that, and relogging fixed it

Just log or swap overflows.

Now people are saying there was a chest? I completely missed it. :< Too many people and commanders clogging up my screen and map!

I did get it (after restarting the game), but I’m now stuck at 4/5 although I’ve completed all other achievements. I hope they fix it soon.

I would really like the team to do something to make the chests obvious. Most people miss them when they silently appear. My server’s full of people going ‘what chest?’

I can’t get this either. I’ve done the Mad King Says event, got gold and the Hat from chest, I tried zoning, I tried logging and I tried changing characters and I still don’t get the achievement…..

I missed the chest because of server lag and of course it disappears far too fast. It better repeat again.

Yeah I almost missed it too. =/ I got a witch’ kittenfrom it. It’s on the north side of the fountain.

Oddly enough i got the achievement (got gold on event), but saw no chest. So no idea lol.

the chest got lost under a giant costume brawl after everyone got turned into spiders and skellies. Relogging fixed the problem though, I have my title now.

I’m a little annoyed that the reward was in a chest. Couldn’t it have been sent through the mail like the Mad Memories were?

I’m one of the people listed as 4/5 though every achievement on the list states Completed. I’ve logged in and out and restarted the client to no avail.

edit: 10:48 pacific – I went ahead and got the mad kings book from the second scavenger hunt, and I did his Mad King Says event and got a witched hat from the chest, logged out and in and I am still 4/5 for my title. There is nothing left to do at this point.

Chest? I saw no chest! Got the achievement/title after logging out and in again though.

For the achievement you only need to be in Lion’s Arch one time during Act 4 I think. I logged in the first time Act 4 when there was no Mad King says event and already had that achievements completed after logging in.

Mad King says event only for chest. Not for achievement neccessary.

If log out or character select don’t give you the party achievement, try exit to desktop. worked for me.

Also, the chest didn’t show up, but the ‘press F to open/search’ did, and worked as good as it would if I’d seen the chest.
