Can anyone show me a picture of what celestial dye looks like for the metal on a Human Female Heavy?

I’ve previewed it and will be getting the Chest, Legs, then shoulders with the possibility of boots and gloves later. However, I want to know if it just looks really silver with Celestial Dye or if it actually shows the bright white as it does on cloth? (as I can’t tell if it’s the default color or not in the preview) Similarly, if it is silver, can anyone show me what it looks like with White Dye?

I’m saving for Cultural T3 Heavy for my Female Human.

Once I get that I’ll probably make it a Bunker Build Set for flavor.

Thank you, Natsu. It appears it only changes the color of the cloth and the plate won’t get any less silver. I really wish there was a dye that could make the metal more white looking.

And i noticed that many T3 heavy armor owner in this post like the silver color as their main armor colors! But sadly i never saw another player in my server wearing t3 heavy armor, may be that’s my bad luck.

I actually want the Stalwart Shoulders, but i can’t seem to get ArenaNet convinced to add it as PvE armor (which is pretty silly, since PvE is way more about armor looks than competitive PvP, but well..).
So I’m not sure about spending the last 20g (+ 20g for head) on the cultural, even tho there is technically a common armor part in the game which i like more.

My thief with t3 shoulder, gloves, and coat. Legs and boots are whispers armor. Helm is thief starter helm.

Dyes used:
Pitch – full body + hood
Iron – coat
Celestial – shoulder blades, bracers + coat buttons
Fluff – daggers on boots

T3 daggers and shortbow look great with this set.

Please. No. The 4 billion people running around in the flaming mess that is CoF armor is already bad enough. Every high tier armor does not need to shoot bloody fireworks. Especially not human cultural armor. That glowy nonsense is purely the domain of the asura and it should really stay that way for cultural pieces. The glowy bits actually look nice on the asura sets. “Glowing” is not a common human cultural theme.

When Bravix posted the exchange rate was 30-50 silver for 100 gems ( I think it was 50 just before the Lost Shores event), now it’s 2.2 gold (to buy gems that is).If 200 gems = 1 gold, then the ~100 gold for a set would have cost 20000 gems

I finally decided to go for it a couple weeks back. Finally finished off the set. All except for the mask, which wasn’t really worth 20g, imo. xD So I grabbed a mask that looked similar off the market for far cheaper. x)

Now I’m flat broke of course, and slowly working on transmuting the skin to an exotic set.

Success! Now to get Foostivoo, Unbreakable Choir Bell, and Bolt!

t2 costs less and looks cooler (heavy armour) imo

Farming enemies and resources is where I have gotten a lot of my money from. I also have sold a decent number of exotics for some good cash (though I arguably could have made more from the yellows I put in to get them (mystic forge)).

I don’t think kitten out look awesome in heavy armor, but that’s my opinion…

Hi guys, I’m torn between getting this armor or sticking to my current set. 119g is alot of money, and the preview function doesn’t really do the armor justice. I’d like to know if anyone has a video of a female human in heavy T3? High graphics settings and light dyes would be a big +

Starter hood, T3 Assassin’s coat, T1 Scout’s gloves and Duellist leggings and boots.

Here’s my Human Mesmer Mockingbird decked in T3.. You think T3 will become obsolete once Ascended Armors come? I hope not, I wish they’d improve on it more considering the price. Maybe some glow here and there? :p

Statistically or aesthetically? Considering how expensive T3 is already, I don’t think it really matters. Ascended will just be the new Exotic, and I expect a good portion of people, myself included, will just transmute the T3 over it.

Aesthetically I mean.. you think it’s possible they will put T4 for our ascended? That’s gonna suck big time

Tier 3 is the most expensive armor out there, so they should think about “rewarding” the people using it if ascended armor comes in.

This is my Guardian. so happy to have that armor.

Anyone know of a dye color that matches twilight? Any red dye I put on my tabard (t3 heavy cultural) looks odd.

Going for Abyss on plate / a red(ish) dye on the tabard.

I haven’t made any screen shots yet. I have the full medium t3 set for my female human thief. She looks super hot. I’ll make some pics and post them.

If you want to keep the red everything would be better than white… Imo those 2 colors just don’t fit. The white is too bright on the red.

Your shoulders are nice, tier 2 female boots and pants are way better than tier 3 (men’s tier 3 boots are the best in game IMO :] ). Your gloves also look nice, but I can’t tell what set are they from. If you want nice skin, go for the simple leather ones.

I’m in full cultural, and I plan to stay that way ( I like to be le special) unless Anet shows my hair within the hood, then I’ll change my mind.

That being said my gloves are also cultural t2

Oh yeah I plan on getting that one for my female human guardian, very fitting, very cool
