It seems like we are getting an update on profession specific armor skins. I would be so disappointed if they hold more prestige in terms of value/cost compared to our t3.
Leo, agreed. 55 gold ain’t easy to get :/ . Nevertheless, you can always go for different stats with new armor. I’m pow/crit and with new armor I’m gonna get heal/vit :] .
I only use the Light boots of the T3 set, full set isn’t Necromancerish
Just got my T3 chest+legs (Protector’s) last night after drooling over it for the past month but finally giving in to purchasing despite the high cost.
I wish the dye option of the cloth/mantle in front/back was 2-part so you could do one colour on the main part of the cloth and another for the fringe… would’ve given you some awesome combos – instead it takes one dye and does one hue for main part and a lighter for the fringe.. I want for example dark blue/red with gold/silver trimmings, etc.
Considering getting T3 shoulders at some point too, but mix’n’matching my gear setup so this combined with CM and some other bits make up the setup. Not in-game just now, but will post a screenie later
I’m so jealous… where did you get so much money?
For me? A lot of farming (I have played the game a lot, though taking a break right now). I made cash by selling junk, some ectos though not much, and a decent amount selling exotics I made through the mystic forge (probably not a recommended method for that XD).
For me there are few simple steps.
Selling every crafting materials (tier 6 not, couse I’m into legendary); selling all white and blue items to merchant; throwing greens into Forge; salvaging rare armors for ecto; throwing rare weapons into Forge; farming CoF p1 and p2 (25s each run, 120 tokens for 2 runs a day), getting rares for tokens and salvaging them for ecto. In 2 weeks of 4-5h a day I bought myself tier 3 chest and boots. Of course I was selling ecto which I do not do now.
How can i attach more than 1 picture?
Use preview when you want to add another picture, it’ll enable attach image again.
its about time….
Wow, what a nice toon you have!
well i looket at all armor i can get and come up with this what u think cheap way then t3 armor
Heres mine. T3 Cultural Chest, Legs and Boots with T1 Gloves. Also have the T3 Mask but I like to see the face I have the shoulders hidden. For colors I’m using the glorious Midnight Ice dyes for every armor piece. This set also looks lovely with Midnight Fuchsia. I use a Molten Harpoon in the first picture and a Wolfborn Shortbow in the second. The item on the back is the Guild Assassin Backpack.

I think the aristocrat set (T2 light) is much more awesome for the Mesmer imo and its also cheap
I agree tbh, T2 light is perfect for a mesmer out of most of the sets in the game.
I am currently working toward T3 for my Thief T_T so much money, I really want it though cause she’s Canthan and it’s all ninja assassin like so I can’t not do it.
This armor is completely worth the farming to get it!
pay no attention to the baby quaggan backpack that was another story
still only have boots and gauntlets.. sigh.
I’m actually kind of glad the T3 cultural light armor isn’t nearly as cool-looking as the heavy armor, because I’ll never be able to afford a full set of it.
So I combo’d some armor types and the tier 3 human chestpiece was the final addition:
I told myself, that I’ll never going to buy any tier 3 armor ever!
but then again i was addicted to having my charecter looks nicely, so i ended up with this -
heres the rest of my medium armor

Hey guys, can anyone tell me what’s the name of the head armor of this picture? Is it Tier 3 Female human or something else? Thanks!
I’ve got full T3 light armor on my male necromancer, wearing white, abyss and gold (sorry to break the trend of full black + skulls necro… too cliche) and I think it looks neat, I should upload a pic when I get home.
On the other hand I must admit that all T3 human armors are awesome, and T2 heavy.

Not sure yet if I want to get the pauldrons. Dyes are the same as the human guardian in the character creation. Dust and Sky
Some dye combinations with elementalist’s attunements (and changed hair)
BAM!
The Krytan shield skin works beautifully with this armor.
Nice! I try to get that armor when i get lvl 80 and all 576 000 moneys…
Can anyone tell me what sword the OP is using?

My warrior with T3 Heavy armour
“Check out my T3 armour…oh this in my hand? Nah It’s nothing mate, just my super cool Sunrise!!!” (I think)
ehehe just kidding, love the T3 and love the Sword, cheers for your hardwork mate =)
Just got my set and didn’t spend a penny on Gem conversion just took a long time to farm the cash especially after farming for the legendary shield :O
Can anyone tell me what sword the OP is using?
sword from Honor of the Waves dungeon tokens.

Wrong.
The sword is called “Corrupted Avenger” and can be bought on th TP.
I too join the 1% I’m using dust as the main, black as the accents and Midnight blue as the cloth.
This is no longer 1% hehe. Maybe 30-40? I myself got three sets of t3 :p
I had the T3 Cultural Medium Armor, but after a couple of months I get tired of it; seems not so special – cool like many others (for me at least!).
So I did a mix of different armors, and for now I’m stuck with this:
