I feel like I’m missing something. Is there a countdown anywhere in the UI, and if you’ve found it, would you please direct me towards it?

• Where can I see how many seconds I have left in my torch run?
• Where can I see how many seconds I have left in my guntlet fight?

On a related note,

• Where can I see my current position in the gauntlet queue?
  Getting skipped is bad enough, but sitting there waiting for 15 minutes to be on the safe side rather than knowing you were just skipped is worse.

Maybe I just don’t see the info on screen… ?

You can hover over the buff thing you get with the torch runs. It’ll show how much time left you have.

As for the gauntlet, I’m not sure, I haven’t seen anything.

On the torch run there is a “boon” icon with a number on it, tho the icon is bright yellow and so the number is hard to read.

torch – you have a little buff on you, looks like a candle flame, that will tell you how long is left.

guntlet – no clue, sorry

position – i think the ringmaster has a buff saying how many are already in queue before you sign up.

Haven’t tried the gauntlets yet, but at least on the torch run you get a little boon icon that tells you how many torches you have left, it starts blinking when the time is about to run off (slowly at first, faster as the time runs out, kinda like the vengeance one on warriors). While I didn’t try (too busy running) you can probably see how much time you have left if you mouseover it.

Yeah, I must say that a mouseover is not the perfect solution in a setting that has you busy – normal dynamic events have timers in the top right corner, that’s where I’m used to looking, and without mouse-hovering breaking my routine. Why suddenly change that?

As the the queue thing, I have talked to all NPCs and not found any information, although the thought of looking to see if any of the NPCs have any buffs on them honestly wouldn’t have occurred to me.

It’s a little more than a minute, but I agree it’s not the easiest thing to use. They went against a couple regular practices this event, so who knows.
