How am I supposed to know which balloons I have visited and which I have not. Just did 2 I found in a place I never visited and only one give me credit.

30 balloons at 2 per map means doing almost all zones right? How do I know where I have been before?

Personally, I’ve been keeping a list on my desktop. I don’t think there’s any list available in-game.

how is a new player supposed to remember which zone and where over two weeks exactly? I am not even sure which ones I have visited 4 days ago. It is bad design…

Yeah same here, thought there would be some way to tell which balloons I had visited, so didn’t bother keeping notes on bits of paper !

Now it’s just a pain in the butt.

I started with the ones in the starter zones, and then worked my way from Western Tyria towards the East. Was pretty easy to keep track, that way.

Or you could go up strictly by level ranges of the map.

I’ve been using my user page on the wiki to keep track of assorted stuff like this.

also, for explorer achievements… i guess i’m supposed to remember all 164/167 areas of maguuma i did months ago >_> oh, and i also did every single jumping goggle dives in the game, except 1 glitched out and i have no idea which one it was.. so, now i have to do most of them if not all of them over again

it doesn’t matter how many you kill, each emissary escort counts as 10 kills
so you have to do that —-- 10 —-—— times

Great Achievement System!

Always do the 2 balloons per zone to make it easier to remember.

If you’re going to do them day by day or all at once, go from left to right and do them in order by zone. If you’re going to do them randomly, keep a list of the zones you’ve already done.

Take an emissary’s buff in the crown pavilion and follow the zerg doing the events. Getting 100 kills only takes about 2 events.

pretty much this- it is not that hard to remember.

I just been to two zones I have never been before. Only the first person in the balloon was able to loot the chest.

Lol, it easy to track these achievement (glitch or not). If you can’t track it, it means you do it randomly. And don’t bring new player argument “how they can remember ?”. New player can easily do this as their zones are not opened yet (their challenge is the living world time limit).

TIPS: do both balloon for an area at the same time. Do it like: If you start from Kryta area (except bloodtide coast): do it along zone level. First Queensdale 1-17, second Kessex Hills 15-25, third Gendarran Fields 25-35, and last Harathi. Then move to shiverpeaks, use the same path. Or you can do: today I do balloon in all low level area (1-25), tommorow in med-low area (25-45), med area(45-65), high lvl area(65-80).

And there are 22 areas which have balloons. You need 15. Which still surplus 7.
