That’s exactly what happened to me sadly. I was there for the entire 2 hours and was disconnected at the end and didn’t receive any loot. Very unsatisfying..

Zap 112G selling 90G buying so 101G medium.

I got the bard, worth 12g :/ wouldve loved the hunter since im an engie but its okay im grateful for it and the bag and ring

Precursors….. Precursors everywhere….

I was also one of the many that got disconnected right before the final boss died, of course by the time I was able to log back in the boss was already dead and I got 0 loot. I hope they compensate the many affected by this in some way.

So many people here that envy their fellow players instead of congratulating on a lucky drop (precursor). I got some rares and exotics I wont use, but that doesnt mean I rage at the guy that looted a dusk. Its not related to the event either, the same could happen in Orr during your daily farming. Do you hate on everyone on your server that got a named exotic drop while playing the game just because you didnt?

Instead, be happy about the box and earring and taking part in an overall fun one-time event.

I demand retry for those who missed Arenanet.

The great and mighty ANet saw fit that even though I disconnected right before the end of the event, that I was able to join that overflow (thanks to having a party member there) right after the event ended. I was able to get the chest!

4 hrs = 2 crap yellows, 2 exotics worth about 1 gold.

got the same things as everyone else, plus Fang of Frostfire (precursor) and normal exotic torch. My Zap drop from yesterday lost half its value but I’m not complaining. Love the rewards, the final event ran almost 3 hours which is way too long. First day was a total debacle, new dungeon is quite enjoyable. Communication to the community has been just horrible. It’s a mixed bag with me. Anet needs to learn some lessons here.

So if people don’t get 5 exotics and all make 100g from it then its bloody murder. Thank you guys for making me laugh

This is what I mean. RNG rewards people. Some people did the whole 3 hours of effort. Some joined halfway or even later, do some hits on the karka, loot a Dusk and run off. Tbh it should have added contribution depending on dmg/heals/time attended at event etc whatever, then reward people accordingly…NAH.
RNG RNG RNG – random people who came for 15 minutes and are level 10, with 5 hours played, (can they loot 80 stuff from chests afetr being boosted to 80?) loot a 200g weapon and run off, having no idea what it actually is.

So frustrating.

Account bound 20 slot bag and the karka earring (seems everyone got these)

Galrath’s pauldrons, sold for 1g.
Rare boots and exotic mace. Salvaged both for 5 ectos, sold for 1g.

Underwhelming to say the least. Guess its 2g more than I had going in… kinda salty about the precursors though to say the least. I thought they were trying to make them less casino-like, but this is just more luck and RNG. Would like a progression path to a precursor instead of more slot machine loot mechanics.

Most screenshots ive seen have 3 or 4 linked precursors in.

100+ people per event, 51 servers + x amount of overflows = one highly watered down market place.

Disconnected right at the end. Got nothing.

Final event, got the karka down to 1/2 hp. Got disconnected.
Couldnt even get back into the event until it was over, so i got no loot or no idea what happens at the end.
BIGGEST waste of time and effort for nothing.
They need to treat this as a trial run, and prepare better for rerunning the event.

I have terrible luck and got no precursors, but I did get an exotic earring (which you can buy from the nearby vendor for 1000 Karka shells), the 20-slot bag, “Jotaro’s gloves” (level 80 rare light, but I wear Medium), a generic Exotic Speargun, and a generic rare one. It will likely cover my repair bills for the event, but the bag and erring were well worth it.

Congratz for those who got at least something.

Are there a really a lot of people that would repeat that 2 1/2 hr event?
I stuck with it through to the end because I didn’t want to miss out on what happened, but to be honest I was tired of it well before we chopped the tree down on the Ancient Karka.
While there are handfuls of people that received a great reward I think most just got ‘good.’ Actually, managing to stick with that constant fight for 2 1/2 hours feels like it deserved a Legendary.

I wouldn’t love to repeat the whole thing, but I would definitely jump in for portions of it. The way it’s set up right now, I imagine that if you just helped out with the final push at the bottom of the cave you’d get full rewards for it. I mean, with the way that credit was being counted, I’m not sure I even got credit for some of the middle activities because I was more healing than damaging, and yet I got rewards for completion.

I do hope they overhaul the event a bit and keep it active as a constant thing.

Ugh… feel a bit sick about this. Last night I read that it was only the standard DE reward (couple of silver, bit of karma etc), so when the ancient started its second (I think) call for reinforcements, I just logged out. Sorry, I couldn’t take it – it was late, I have a busy day, the fight was boring as hell…

Now I read this! I can’t believe ANet still can’t get rewards right. I killed two champs in the Lost Shore and got rubbish that wouldn’t look good from a Queensdale chest, and from what I’ve seen elsewhere, event bosses still haven’t been given the promised reward boosts. Yet they can rain precursors, an unusual trinket and 20-slot bags on those that are able and willing to make it to the end of a deeply flawed weekend event? That was basically, the one open-world PvE chest worth opening, in the whole 3 months the game has been live?

For crying out loud, stop with the gimmicks and fix the game for those of us still logging in daily!
