Fractals Dungeon Level System, Not Viable.
Except, IIRC, the difficulties will reset weekly, so your concern is really not that valid. People who are farming fractals will be farming fractals all week, so when the reset comes they’ll quickly burn through them and get back to D3/4 or whatever.
I farm dungeons with occasional pugs. My concern is valid.
Can’t you get together a group that you enjoy playing with and play consistantly with them? It’s a bit difficult yes, but AN wouldn’t be comprimising content to be limited to a single pug difficulty just so that your life will be a bit easier. The issue here lies with the players, not with AN.
As for people leaving, that’s an issue AN will be fixing in the near future. I disconnected once in the dungeon, and it was awful for me and my group. Hopefully it happens soon.
I love the idea of an infinite dungeon design. But anyone should be able to go in at the highest level anyone is in the group and not the lowest. Then once complete everyone moves up one level to where they were prior to joining.
Player 1 – Level 5
Player 2 – Level 5
Player 3 – Level 3
Player 4 – Level 3
Player 5 – Level 1
Team Decides to play Level 5
After completion of Level 5
Player 1 – Level 6
Player 2 – Level 6
Player 3 – Level 4
Player 4 – Level 4
Player 5 – Level 2
That way you can’t power level someone from say 1 to 5 in one run, but they can be in a group running higher content then their level. Everyone just moves up one natural level.

That’s a great option I know, but making a permanent 5 man group, and logging in at set times? That sounds like 9-5 job for me, and I have one thank you.
Aren’t games suppose to be something like “I play it when I feel like it”

This is much better! Definitely! Limiting to the highest level instead of lowest!
Yeah, I just made a thread about this as well (Dungeon Group Finder Becoming Necessary), and it really is a big problem. I spend half an hour in between every run just trying to find another group for the next difficulty (almost as much time as the dungeon itself). And this is when the dungeon is new and everybody and their mom is running it. Imagine in a few weeks how ridiculously hard it will be to find groups for specific difficulties.
We need a dungeon group browser, plain and simple.
