I love you guys. I enjoyed the game so so much. And yet you kept surprising players like me. It’s not even a month after the Halloween patch.

I spend over 100$ (not much) in gem store for town clothes, keys, skins and I’m so glad about having those things. I will spend more with all those awesome game content out there, constantly improving in WvW (weekly transfer, remove of the orbs), man you guys ARE listening to the community. I have the urge to spend a lot more in the gem store (just for the curtsy of the awesomeness of the game). Especially on different kind of skins (so please, add more armor / weapon skins available for purchase).

Thank you so much for putting all those great content together and making a great game! The only concern I have for the current game play is the botting issue which can be seen everywhere. But I believe it’ll go away.

It a nice change compared to another MMO forum which will not be named. Always filled with complaints and an obnoxious community.

I hope Arena Net realizes how much potential Guild Wars 2 really has.

Yes, please no more annoying undead mobs yanking, snaring, confusing me every 5 steps…hopefully this new zone is not too much underwater stuff, either.

The Story for this place will be set after Act 1 and most likely will introduce the Story of Act 2. Most likely which Elder we will be fighting in Act 2.

So no more risen but more of a certain type of Elder Dragon Minion to the point that you may be sick of seeing them. :p

In the podcast, Colin said a new type of dungeon would be added where as you move through it, it gets progressively harder and harder, but with better and better rewards. He also said the new zone would be there to stay, and the one time event would change all of Tyria, just like the Lions Arch Lion statue is now gone…or something like that. Sounds pretty awesome to me.

edit: the dungeon is in this zone. He also said they’re working on more ENDGAME CONTENT as we speak. He didn’t even deny the working of 10 person “dungeons”

BUT! the real question is. Where is this sneak peak that is already in the game for the nov 15th update? O.O

I need to get started on beating Zaihten I guess, the Mad King set me way back.

I hope all the undead or most of them will disappear from the Orr zones.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that the “changing the world forever” thing is the adding of a new zone. Very exciting regardless. Hopefully we get a name for the deep sea dragon

Okay, first of all…

Major content update! Eeeeeee! So excited!!

However, I’m not one of those players who is sitting around at 80 with nothing to do. I just barely reached 80 and am still looking at a mountain of wonderful content I have not even begun to climb—a chapter or two left of my personal story plus only ~35% world completion, and no way have I caught every DE in the zones I have finished. I’m one of those stop and smell the roses people who takes forever to finish stuff.

So needless to say I’m wondering, will this one time event that changes Tyria forever actually make it impossible to complete content that’s currently in the game? Will it only add content, or will some of the DEs, etc. currently available become obsolete?

Maybe this seems like a weird question, but I just don’t want to miss out on anything!

I know a lot of this info is new and we are all still guessing, but has anyone seen any info about this in podcasts from the devs, etc? Any idea if there is stuff we absolutely MUST finish now or miss out on once Lost Shores is released?

I can’t say for certain (nothing has been officially announced with the details you’re requesting), but I would be very surprised if they permanently destroyed any existing content.

Anything they decide to take out represents several (if not hundreds) hours of manpower and it doesn’t make sense to shrink the game.

I think by “one time event” they’re probably referring to a special event that will open up the new content.

The guy who animated the Lion’s Arch statue has confirmed, it’s coming back. But yeah, I get where you’re going with that. Some kind of one-time event, probably a non-interactive cutscene, to introduce this all to the setting, I’m betting.

Forget about a new ancient dragon, deep sea dragon isn`t even named and besides, he resides far, far beyond the sea of sorrows. And all other 3 dragons are discarted.

This is just a map update, new quest, events, probably new kind of gear, even maybe a new legendary, lots of new recipes, jumpuzzles and a world boss or two. It will probably expand personal history too, to a “stage of peace” after Zhaitans defeat…

Or thats what i want to belive…

I hear you, I’m grateful for new content to be added to GW2 but considering how the last “one time event” was handled for certain timezones I am somewhat reluctant to be enthusiastic about these “one time events”.

That said the MK breaking the LA statue was also marketed as a one time world changing event too and that was a short cinematic that even people that could attend had issues with, so if that is all it is going to be I will probably be indifferent.

Unless Zhaitan’s Risen navy was battling Bubbles’ tentacled Cthulhu beasts far out at sea, and with him gone he’s gonna Godzilla his way into Tokyo Bay-cough…er, the Sea of Sorrows.

If it’s another 80 zone, can it PLEASE be one WITHOUT fecking Risen.

We already have 3 zones completely full of Risen which only drop some of the high tier crafting materials. We need more 80 zones without Risen to even the scales a tad.

So any idea on what level were gonna have to be to join in? Or will everyone be auto-80ed like in the Halloween event
