Guild Wars 2

A long and hard event, but the rewards were worth it.

After hours and hours of battle and at least four DC’s (where one was most annoying on reconnect and almost made me ragequit) I finally get the chance to triumph!

Some great pics, though if I hadn’t been fighting to stay alive, or getting rez’d, for much of it I would have liked a few of the journey getting to the end…

This is what the gist of our overflow experience was!

We eventually got him, but we spent ENTIRELY too much time face down on the ground.

There are A TON more dead people than that picture shows, since it literally took out the entire zerg.

Still a blast, though.

this was the gist of my experience.. it was fun though in the end.

The perspective of 2/3 of our raid at the end… never seen the framerate jump back up so fast. Lava is great at “culling” excess characters >:D

After two or three DCs, and finally finding the perfect overflow server (no lag, yay!!) my guild and all the other people we were zerging with, finally beated the Ancient Karka (darn you, Reinforcement part!!!!)

lol the floor on ours didn’t break and it looked like quicksand.

I missed the final boss fight on account of this pesky birthday dinner and James bond movie I HAD to see… I was there in spirit though, because we had lobster tails stuffed with crab and shrimp! HAH!

I logged in afterwards and got this picture.

I had no screenies, but I will say that I have many mental screenies of my overflow server wipe which to me was hilarious. Enjoyed it immensely, cheers!

Some of the different phases of the fight. I particularly like the one with my elementalist zapping him but good with lightning.

After 2hrs and 45min…. Such an epic finale.

….I jumped in the lava a few minutes later to see how much damage it does. Quite a bit.

Took over 3 hours.
