Guild Wars 2

So.. Looking at Scarlet’s Planned alliances.. We can see various races she planned to try to get to to ally…. Aparently the crossed out lines are failures…

The Problem is, I can’t identify two of the races on her list..

The blue one is pirates, which allied with the inquest to make the aetherblades. The red one I’m not sure about but it could be small drawing of a minotaur maybe.

Oh.. Duh.. facepalm

I somehow forgot about the Aetherblades

More likely that those are on the bottom right.

Look like grawl and tengu to me, what what do I know.

Bottom right is hylek. Red circle is indeed a grawl.
Tengu is top right, blue is indeed pirate (successful alliance with inquest).

Please someone draw up a key for all races/symbols on map

From top to bottom.
Left :
- nightmare court (sylvari) ;
- inquest (asura) ;
- flame legion (charr) ;
- ettin ;
- harpy ;
- ogre ;
- grawl ;
- centaur ;

Right :
- tengu ;
- dredge ;
- pirate (human) (the weird head shape is the pirate hat) ;
- skritt ;
- quaggan ;
- krait ;
- kodan ;
- hylek ;

Skritt – Ettin alliance? weird one… that explains why it failed :P

Harpies were my first guess, but wouldn’t largos also be possible? I feel largos kodan would make more sense than harpy kodan.

Plus, I sort of get the feeling largos might get along with tengu, not sure why, maybe like an honor system they could agree with, but having them be violent against us, don’t see that happening.

Largos dont really do teamwork, except for teacher-apprentice relationships.

To me, actually, Harpies sound more like something she would try to ally with the Kodan… She has a tendancy to take a “monster” race and combine it with either a benevolent race or a semi-benevolent such as the skritt or ogres.

Actually now that I think about it, harpy attraction thing, that they do on that one grawl on a kodan seems possible. But yeah, largos do seem to not do team work.

Deep ocean huh? That explains why I have never seen or heard about them. Thanks for the link btw. Yes, they are cool looking indeed.

Largos are an aquatic race. I only know of a handful of them. One terrorizes some Sylvari in Brisban Wildlands. One is part of the personal story. I think there are about three in the waters east of Mount Maelstrom.

There is also event in Frostgorge when largos wants to duel with you. Happened to me only once tho, not sure how to trigger. +One of largos in Mount Maelstorm is skillpoint :p
