I think you are right. I think FA will sneak back into Gold because of Core. Funny, that in the silver league thread they said they weren’t going to go to a gold or bronze server. Gold is in their future.

When you get a 5man logged in and geared to run, or even an 8man… Then u roll out and on every BL what you find is a mob of 40 listening to one idiot in a voice comm yelling which door is next to bang on and to “stack”…. Then you log off and probably don’t group up for another week or two, or a month.

I thought mag had it locked up, until I checked mos this morning and saw FA ticking +600. Couldn’t believe it.

Day crew won’t matter much if FA shows up again tonight, even if the entire night crew shows up. The question is, will FA game the system to put us in silver with them or go all the way to gold. My bet is they push SBI into gold then ease off.

There has been some decent small man action this week. Granted you end up running around a bit looking for it, plus you have to run off blobs a fair bit, but overall not too bad.

CD taking stuff hurts us even more than FA, and CD has a reasonably strong Oceanic. There is really no incentive for our Oceanics to show up again tonight, they are going to be absolutely obliterated in gold without additional timeslot support transferring in.

I think something that people on Maguuma need to realize is that as long as anet doesn’t see how dumb leagues are, we’re either going to be in gold this league or next. Getting in this time probably makes us stronger, getting into silver will probably make us into the next SBI (as long as the ratings aren’t too close for bandwagoners to jump on before the cutoff).

I wanted to make a little test with a picture of a gate on the left and a zerg on the right, two check-boxes and the caption “Please mark the zerg” but all the PPTing has made me too tired.

We are primarily NA but a lot of the guild gets on PST NA and if they are having a good time collecting bags will stay on for a really long time.

Depends on the night. But we always try to look for opposing zergs to fight. I would say most of the time we run 25 people. So take it as you will.

I don’t care either way. Fighting Mag is fun and different. Watching SBI crumble in gold is just as fun as watching them crumble by fighting them. We got bad blood between us, they will fall either way.

In my opinion anything above 15 is a zerg, 20 I might even agree with, but above that is zerglet material, but opinions vary I suppose. I was more talking about play style then size, but whatever floats your boat.

That said, there’s a reason we came here. It’s to learn new styles and see what the higher tier servers are like. Maguuma has already show that they like a very decentralized style of fighting. So we adapt to fight that. I’ve personally never seen so many red circles with so few people with red names. Seems like you all like your casters. Gonna be a good time on FA.

Was reading the SoS/SoR/SBI thread and apparently some of SoR has decided to double-team SoS to raise SBI into gold over Mag or FA. Compliment and challenge accepted >:)

It’s not really that hard…

A balanced group will probably have 6 guardians, 5 warriors, 2 mesmers, 4 necros, and 3 staff eles.

That’s 12 symbols, 2 chaos storms, 12 wells, and at least 8 different ele circles. That gives you a total of 34 red circles in the first bomb or two.

I don’t think SBI has the stomach for gold, but I guess we will see.
