Initial tests on the TC psyche has had questionable results, obviously as established by forum etiquette a single opinion represents a majority, assuming that majority is a majority you’re opposed to because of reasons that you can single opinion a single has for reasons.
Thus I’ve taken to using a section of TC that is most easily testable, they tend to huddle around specific points at specific times and perform repetitive specific tasks that achieve no real outcome, no I’m not talking about WvW you idiot, obviously that’s totally different to what I’ve just described, no I’m talking about RP, specifically tavern RP.
In order to fully study the TC syndrome I’ve gone about disguising myself amongst the group of beings that inhabit these lands in order to not rouse suspicion. Thus I have made a blonde haired short human Mesmer with the an article of the most revealing clothes possible, but also another set of the most -noble- clothes by standards of the hive mind mentality, though the two from an outside opinion seem to be rather close. And thus I dive into the unknown.
The groups seem to have split themselves into distinctive circles built around indifference to other circles, interesting this shows up so often even within the stratum of WvW. -shrug-. They can be split into a few sections: Nobles; Scholars; Adventurers(fighters? [needs citation]); Peasants; Criminal; Outliers. Strangely the two first sections seem to be too large to support itself considering the size of the The fourth, perhaps you could say people over stack into the most desirable spots.

I’m really very tired and start typing while listening to someone saying the word one over and over and decided to start typing, point is I’m not playing WvW really because it’s not enjoyable for my own play style as it is now and I’m doing pretty terrible RP in TC in some sort of weird insult to RP by doing RP badly in order to justify RP to get away from WvW because it’s boring, but I’m not changing to another game because I’m too boring and lazy to find something else to do.
In order to change this I’ve started listening to someone saying the word one over and over again. PS WvW, not offtopic

So much anger, in what will probably be the easiest match of the Season. Maguuma is beating SoS for the first time ever, so I don’t get any of the anger they have.
TC is in good form and are showing an improvement in their gameplay despite losing some key guilds a few weeks back.

On SoS we have some work to do (can’t argue at this point) but it’s mostly bringing our casuals up to speed and upping our coordination.

No one should be mocked at this point.

Why is it that TC is always in a zerg? I’ve heard countless times on TC mumble about how you out skill Mag/SoS but you’re always in a zerg attacking out manned maps?

Cat herding is a skill. It’s incredibly challenging to get that many window lickers to follow a Dorito around the map. I mean, they have to stop the entire zerg at every sentry to insure they don’t leave too many kittens behind. The commander has to constantly remind his zerglings not to get distracted by random shiny things like harvesting nodes, the mosquito event, and map completion.

TC is like a thousand times more skilled than Mag scrubs.

From what I gather from your initial post, you guys had the keep siege capped and were turtling the hell out of it, and the TC force starved you of supply and made a final large push.

Not even siege capped and plenty of supply to spare ,and ppt is a joke anyways the way mags play the game.
Its just that this match up is like a huge comedy show.

I myself was looking forward to fighting SBI. I wouldent have it any other way though, you guys put up a fun fight on SoS BL every day. I’m not exactly the kind to troll, I’d rather leave it to the pros. NA prime is coming around and it was only a matter of time, the same way we lose stuff when your prime rolls around.

Honor has left sbi evident by our previous week match up with them.
Try to take a good read on the thread,you may find some stuff in there disturbing.

SBI will fall apart at the end of the season when they lose to Fort Aspenwood. That coalition was never that stable.
The way they wilted in the face of SoR was sad to watch, and the bizarre, convoluted scheme that took place was just ridiculous.

Trust us TC, you didn’t miss much.

I’m not sure why people QQ about solo roaming and being outnumbered by a larger squad. The rare times I solo roam (like last night) I go into it fully expecting to run into larger groups. Get over it (: I think the only thing that irks me is when you go into those larger groups yourself and take down people but in the end you die being by yourself and the person you dropped sits or jumps on you. LOL Its okay though I realize your mad because even with your group of 4v1 you died :P Regardless quit the QQ about people having massive zergs/large roaming groups. This is T2 GOLD LEAGUE you want more roaming and less numbers in zergs and less of a challenge move down to T8

I on the other hand have been enjoying this matchup! I am glad [CNB] chose to move servers. Otherwise we would have been missing out on these great fights and chances to learn/improve!

Oki Mags, i took you up on the notion and thought id go solo walking with my uplevled 35warrior with blues and greens, see what would happen ;P, said and done i came to the ruins where six people from mags guild ill showed up, so i charge one of them after being cripled, and all six jumps me, a upleveled ;P… id been a speed bump against one of them, so, ya, dont throw rocks in a glass house, and it wasent the only time… it happened against several SoS and some other Mag groups as well… But this said, i sort of expected it, you cant expect to find fair fights or that people are going to fight fair, if it happens, then all cudos to them, so… all sides have roamers that want duels, fine go pvp, or be lucky. but dont expect it…

If its name isnt quickcry dont expect a fair duel.

You guys did realize that Gold League was going to have zero solo roaming and nothing less than 5, right? You might see some bored SoS folks trying it, but TC doesn’t wipe it’s bum with anything less than a 8 man team.

Went to TC BL with 2 other guys, killed 1 dolyak, 10 TC showed up, went to a camp, 15 TC showed up, killed 5 TC and 20 showed up, casually passed by a tower, AC and cannon manned… that desperate on PPT even when is obvious that you are going to win the week?

It’s not PPT play. It’s sheer boredom and achievement hunting play.

15v1’ing somebody trying to flip your camp doesn’t give you achievements or wxp. Waiting 30 seconds gives you several dolyak kills and a camp to flip.

That’s why I put boredom BEFORE achievement hunting.

And actually, it usually does gives you WXP…unless you’d gotten killed very recently. And that’s on top of some people finding 450 WvW kills being a steep hill to climb.

Golems are easymode, made for baddies, and TC are baddies. The defending was fun though, even though it became a stale deja vu.

so far ive had fun fighting tc and sos, solo roaming can be a bit of a pain in the kitten but then again its wvw in a higher tier and its to be expected so i just play around that as best possible and all these zergers make for easy target’s, probably my biggest issue is the warriors but hey we all know there pretty cheese atm and once again finding a work around isn’t to much of an issue, ive come across quite a few people that have pretty good morals involving fair fights particularly 4 guys i came across in RoT that later had some duels with so that was pretty fun, there was also a thief (not running cheese surprisingly so kudos to you) last night that i beat with a stealth engineer that had some back up before i could finish him and he ressed and watched me do a 2v1 that eventually ended in me getting a bit to out numbered so that was pretty cool of him, all in all id say tc and sos have less trolls then the lower tier servers and haven’t had to deal with a group of people doing the emote spam on my body that often which is probably one of the things i hate most in this game, all in all its been a fun week so far and its been great to fight some new people.

And actually, you’re killing somebody who was on the borderland long enough to walk to the camp near their spawn. And that’s on top of the camps being impossible to get if you can’t manage 450 WvW kills especially when you’re top ppting.

Solo roaming is much more enjoyable than duels.

First, getting a 8k back stab out of no where puts you on your toes and makes you react pretty darn fast or you’re dead. So the randomness of it is very nice.

Second, with arranged duels, you see people put on different food buffs, change the skills on their bar and get ready for the class they are about to fight. It changes the whole fight entirely.

Roaming and finding same numbers (or what I prefer +2ish) is much more enjoyable because you never know what to expect. Which is the reason I was upset when they added the class icon next to your opponents portrait.

Hey, it only takes one person not paying attention out of fifteen to screw it up for everyone else.

Somebody starts slapping you while you’re already stinging from trying to camp cap, even other people who would rather let the camp flip are forced to just try and get their tags in and hope for WXP, especially if people are unresponsive to their typing out stuff. TBH, that’s usually why roamers end up getting ganged up on. “Ooh, an enemy’s getting damaged and CC’d. Tag for WXP!”

You’re acting like all fifteen of them are running on voice comms and everything and are going to work in perfect harmony.

No mention of the cap/recap of sos garri? That was supposed to be the push that failed instantly, since we had like 20 commander tags in the group and no one knew who to follow. It started off as a joke push and everyone was laughing and having fun, but when it became clear we had a shot at taking it everyone sobered up really quick. Those warrior banners dear god, that would have lasted even longer if we hadent stopped people at north inner.

Amazing fights as usual CnB, NOPE dosent run enough on their own to fight you evenly, but we sure do try.

Tonight was awesome. I guess some of it was because a lot of folks on Maguuma decided to focus on TC and we did the same; but that’s how this kind of match should be played. (Did I mention how glad I am that it was Maguuma and not FA or SBI that made gold?)

I don’t smell anything..!’ A lie. An annoying look started to form on Justdonny’s face. He turned to notice a box that seemed clearly out of place. ‘Th-th-those are just my grandma’s gerbils from when she used to have pet 3-legged wallabies. She, uh…dropped ‘em by here earlier’. Justdonny nodded with fake acknowledgement…then, before pet bear could react, Justdonny fearlessly lunged toward the box and opened it. The blue armor was plainly in view.

Justdonny stared at pet bear for what what must’ve been eleven microseconds. Suddenly inspired by the wise teachings of Confuscious, pet bear groped explosively in Justdonny’s direction, clearly desperate. Justdonny grabbed the blue armor and bolted for the door. It was locked. pet bear let out an enchanting chuckle. ‘If only you hadn’t been so protective of that thing, none of this would have happened, Justdonny,’ he rebuked. pet bear always had been a little dimwitted, so Justdonny knew that reconciliation was not an option; he needed to escape before pet bear did something crazy, like… start chucking potatos at him or something. In a blinding moment of misguided bravado, he gripped his blue armor tightly and made a dash toward the window, diving headlong through the glass panels.

pet bear looked on, blankly. ‘What the hell? That seemed excessive. The other door was open, you know.’ Silence from Justdonny. ‘And to think, I varnished that window frame seven days ago…it never ends!’ Suddenly he felt a tinge of concern for Justdonny. ‘Oh. You ..okay?’ Still silence. pet bear walked over to the window and looked down. Justdonny was gone.

It’s funny; there’s always so much complaining about my roaming posts, yet without fail, if I make 2-3 posts, there ends up being 2-3 pages of people talking about roaming, even after I stop posting. Love it or hate it, roaming is still more interesting than beating your face against gates for hours on end.

So how about those crowd fights after the GvG? Literally everyone was expecting Agg to make the first move after the GvG was called. The reaction to TyE from attacking us was hilarious too. “Are they attacking us? Alright stack up and lets wipe these guys”

Here’s some roaming from the weekend. Shows some sweet thief skills and a 3v4 vs EP at the end.

I do command at times for TC on the Borderlands and I don’t go after trying to get 50+ people. In fact I recognize humility and can adjust strategy as well. So far my favorite so far in the last 24 hours was when it was early in the morning after seeing many SoS players in mag BL in their lake tower do a defense while I wasn’t commanding, I went to our home BL to find everything except garrison taken by SoS. I popped my commander tag with another commander and later on became the only commander remaining.

I did not have giant zergs of people to retake the map but we made due with what we had and eventually we did lose more people, but my favorite was when SoS broke the bay wall and tried to use those catas to break the inner wall. I had destroyed those catas with the treb I set up for defense and SoS was smart enough to not attack directly inward.

Then when we did that run between vale and bay which started with us on the losing end, then I changed our strategy from direct based to more siege based and of course you did too. I recognize how difficult a vale defense can be and though we managed to break through and retake our camp, you played a kitten of a good game in your camp defense. I rather enjoyed it…specially when we thought the very same thought and used the door on both sides as making a choke point.

I also liked retaking our briar. I knew you would be in there and at first after breaching you were stealthed to hide your actual numbers, came out and at first you were winning then still being below the stairs on the inside, I told everyone to start targeting side siege from below while resurrecting players. Eventually we made it up, fought the tower lord and held position while fighting your remaining outside….we prioritized taking the tower, then pulled you in so the tower lord can help finish you.

You might had lost against us, but I actually really loved that defense of the camp and tower. It was a good shot. You didn’t let us roll over you and I had fun. It wasn’t a pure brute-force command and I truly loved it.

This is what I mean by humility. Recognition of good fights and plays as we are all gamers becoming each other’s entertainment, despite who wins and loses. I also loved your sneaky ram spot on garrison.

Mag and SoS…

I know its your shakedown week. Good job on making it to tier 2 and the gold league. You are brave to want to get better because eventually we will fight against the tier 1 servers and that will become our ultimate test of endurance.

Its bravery to fight so hard to reach tier 2 knowing the kind of competitiveness we will get when tier 1 and tier 2 servers are mixed up on these gold league battles.

Just yonder, Justdonny was struggling to make his way through the secret vineyard behind pet bear’s place. Justdonny had severely hurt his kidney during the window incident, and was starting to lose strength. Another pack of feral bears suddenly appeared, having caught wind of the blue armor. One by one they latched on to Justdonny. Already weakened from his injury, Justdonny yielded to the furry onslaught and collapsed. The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was a buzzing horde of bears running off with his blue armor.

But then Maguuma came down with Their outgoing smile and restored Justdonny’s blue armor. Feeling relieved, Maguuma smote the bears for their injustice. Then they got in their curb-jumping ghetto sled (Impala) and jettisoned away with the fortitude of 200,000 long-haired sea monkeys running from a big pack of albino cats. Justdonny skipped with joy when he saw this. His blue armor was safe. It was a good thing, too, because in six minutes his favorite TV show, Jersey Shore, was going to come on (followed immediately by ‘When 3-legged wallabies meet hand grenade’). Justdonny was contented. And so, everyone except pet bear and a few malaria-toting long-haired sea monkeys lived blissfully happy, forever after.

As it was I had to talk no small amount of people out of focusing on you guys during NA. However I saw that someone with a brain took over mid-evening on Mag EB and we decided that if we weren’t going to push that we should pressure TC. Because of that we both got some time with SMC (resetting it from T3) and reset some T3 stuff in their 3rd.

As for our Oceanics, you guys have been doing phenomenal so far with your night time forces and we had no idea that they were tapping out for a night. They really tore up TCBL as I understand so I don’t think you were singled out or that it was made personal in anyway.
