We aren’t speaking as much to defensive specialists like yourself, but people who want to zerg up and follow commanders in the open field.
Those kind of fights require coordination and a willingness to play as a team. That means clicking on a program and listening in while you are doing these activities and you can turn it right off if you want to do something else.

Folks running uplevelled at the front of the zerg, with no TS up and running….it just ain’t cricket!

Play how you want, but a lot of us care about the experience for everyone on the server and voicecomms is a tool to improve that.

GvG? Sorry you lost me there. It will always happen that you have uplevels or such with you. That is the way with militia. You will never be able to convert the whole world. You could of course assign another commander to pull the pugs while everyone on ts would follow your commander and you dont need to tag up. Problem solved on at 99% scale. I wonder tho, how is such an interest attracting small scale guilds if in the ends you are mashing into a big blob like t1.

You think defense requires no coordination (considering we are dealing with a lot harder circumstances than just a few uplevels….preferable a dedicated tc who drains our supply everytime before an inc…no its not an indcident tc, its happening everday now)? Thanks for the flowers i do love you too but as said I was on ts. So much for small group play.

1. I’m not talking about GvG, I’m talking taking the towers we ask you to defend.

2. You are right, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to educate militia and help them learn better ways to WvW.

3. I am not knocking defense. It’s a crucial part of the game and I wish we had more folks like you.

What I mean is that defending an open-field/offense are completely different; and the latter requires large numbers on TS3 to be effective.

Every server has/had those commanders. The guys not on voice, who don’t work with other commanders, who type everything (usually insults) in all caps. Luckily all of ours have moved elsewhere.
I’m the only jerk commander left on SoS, and I’m a lot nicer and respectful in game. I’m only a kitten here on the forums LOL.

EDIT: I may as well add in a thanks to both DB and SoS, for most nights, when not in prime time, we had many good skirmishes with our havocs or golems late night pst. Have fun and hope to battle again soon.

We had one try to say “Hey PUGS … Follow me if you have a brain” … once … guess he enjoyed running solo.

TC pugs (even if sometimes fair-weather) are awesomely humorous, and for the most part … are all on the same page. Every server has a couple strange ones. (cough- a certain troll on Kaineng…. for example). I find it amazing though how our server manages itself and handles them. Most mature WvW group who have tons of fun (the guys who are in every night) and this kinda attracts more fair weathers to turn into regulars.

Last night for example, one of our EP commanders was just having a hoot of a time doing the strangest things – like trebbing or balli down gates.

TY for the fun and may the wxp/dargonite ores flip fastly until reset. (Sorry GOTL, I read about the minion master thing now… and realize why the dmg output yesterday was lower. We assumed it was just up levelled when we clashed last night).

We shouldn’t alienate our players who choose to play at certain times only. Because we cannot compel them to join if they do not wish to do so at hard times. So, we can only set the stage for them to enjoy and hopefully participate longer than usual when they are available. >3<

In other news, played Beyond Two Souls. >3< Awesome game, I find it had the appeal of heavy rain and farenheit (which I find a must play).

I second the idea about “fairweathers.” Let’s not use them as a scapegoat.

Had a lot of good 1 v 2-4’s. Though it would be nice if TC could watch a fight instead of attempt to help their server mate every time :p

I actually did watch a fight, and also – had some mates just watch earlier in the week.

Even after beating my opponent, I never spiked him, just ran off and let him res himself. I was on my necro and the battle was by the sentry between garri – Bay 2, 3 nights ago?

It happens. But more often than not – duels need to be scheduled out of primary paths.

Like I said before – sorry about that at Bay, and up there. We started to clue in after a couple engagements that the dmg output you guys had was too low to be serious. So we left the spawn campers and put a map chat to leave you guys be, but they sat scraping at invulnerability till death. Deservingly so and hope you got some good treasures.

We [all of STUN] left to respond to Hills,the SoS guys brought the CnB squad over. We also may or may not have been heavily intoxicated, and that was PiNK who may or may not have also been heavily intoxicated for there antics/rules about “per each tower/keep/camp” takeover. . One of many games for fun on Thursdays.

Just wanted to note, we were not at your spawn for more than a couple minutes. The engagement started from your guys eyeing us above north west camp and ended at your spawn. We did appreciate the fights though and hope you had plenty of bags from the players who refused to let ya be.

The aggressor always gets pinned if they get downed
