Guilds who want EZ mode and no fights should take note and continue to stack BG. I read from their commanders they got no queues 24/7

Last week was our NA having their “hands down their pants” and being caught, then they just didnt really show up because we didnt have 2 consecutive timezones cough thanks to ZDs cough

Wow I normally am a poster that that salutes players on the opposing side, but this last week im finding it hard to salute anything from SOR, Your guys are not showing up, when they do its kitten, then yall just come here and make excuse after excuse after excuse for yourselves.

We got 1 guild guys… in a timezone that you…. SOR …….SMASHED us in 2or 3weeks ago, (late sea-early eu).

Stop your QQ it makes you look awful, and get your butts out on the field. We know you are better than this effort, and so do you.BG has fought you way to much and for way to long to just accept that THIS is the best you got. And BTW whether your looking at this week or last, it WASNT SEA-EU that sparked rallied and held onto an 18 k push in 2 days… it was NA prime and OCX that got that ball rolling. So no disrespect to our new transfer….. but BG started making that push long before our new Russian friends were even here.

So I challenge you SOR, come out and play. Bring what we know you can bring. Dont lay over and play dead( I dont care what the reason is). Because in the end BG is playing for 1st and always has been, so you can either lay there and take it lying down or play to your potenial and stop us in our tracks. Do you want it enough? Or do we? Time will only tell.

and here is Ferris Bueller QQing over his servers WvW lack of participation just a few months ago. Pot..Kettle..Black, and now that another server is feeling the same issues Ferris is crying foul cause not enough players are showing up, too funny!

Some things I know here on BG that may be a few reasons why our WvW participation is down a little:
1: Bored of the same match up over and over
2: There were some somewhat cool PVE events that guilds are completing
3: Lost a few very well respected commanders but more will take their place.
4: Lack of incentive to do WvW.. aka the rewards
5: We are reorganizing a bit with the change in seasons and school getting ready to be out

Out of curiosity, what is SoR’s official stance on their uncharacteristically low PPT during NA and OCX/SEA. (Your OCX/SEA, btw, was sharing almost half the pie chart with BG last week by 7 AM PST, or thereabouts.)

I’m sorry, but how can you expect people not to call you quitters or accuse you of tanking your score to lure transfers when you tick lower than SoS at certain points during NA prime? Coupled with the obviously neglected SoR mantra of, “we play for fights”.

I have. It wasn’t that there weren’t fights (there were – I was on SoRBL so I kinda expected at least some resistance), but that SoS were showing up more than you.

Also, I will not be a part of spawn camping. In my personal opinion, it’s something that shouldn’t be done no matter how much you dislike the enemy server. It also discourages fights

Like there aren’t records of PPT and scores of weeks and months prior to me joining WvW. Like there aren’t posts about guild movements during the time I was away from GW2. It’s the dark ages amirite? No recorded history at all according to this guy!

BG hasn’t changed much in its core WvW guilds. It’s gained a few and lost a few. SoR’s core hasn’t changed much either. Why are you guys bleeding numbers all of a sudden? Too many fair weather players?

Wrong. If PvD is what a person is looking for he should transfer to a server like CD, where coverage is weak and oftentimes there will be a zerg vs. nobody. With Blackgate, especially in the JQ SoR BG match two weeks ago, every inch of the map is contested and taking even a tower is an achievement.

Also I transferred to Blackgate because 1) disagreements with certain people in SoS, who actually encouraged me to move, and 2) to play against JQ. It was almost a toss-up whether I went to SoR or to BG. You can look through some of the old threads for my posts asking why I should choose one server over the other. Considering how pathetic SoR are being, I’m actually happy I didn’t transfer there.

I think the next time I transfer, it’ll probably be to TC.

Citing my legitimate reasons as to why we may have had a drop in wvw people playing like a month or 2 ago is NOT QQing. Trying to help shed some light on the discussion that was taking place in that thread is what it IS. And if you read it you ding dong, you would see that . You take it however you want, and make whatever excuses you want. Cite my past posts when you want, and say anything you want.

It makes no difference, its sad that you all have appeared to just give up. its all good. You have to live with that , not me. And I wont even bother with any more replies to either scoot or any other IRON member, you all are nothing more than forum trolls. Do you know it is quite simple. BG has more players. Last weekend everyone was basically qued in because of the achievement hunters. SoR did very well. BG did not. Now patch comes out on Tuesday and new achievements and the PVE crowd goes elsewhere returning SoR and BG’s number back to normal. However now BG has gained multiple new guilds, and do not claim in was just one, there were multiple guilds that came over. Because of that it has just caused a uncompetitive match.

Late EU, NA and SEA (to some extend) SoR does well in. The rest of the time zones SoR just does not have the players to complete. BG can chest thump all they want and wonder where SoR is, well they have RL lives and are not going to put ridiculous overtime in for a game. They fight when they can and have fun.

So BG, was way behind SOR after last weekend and Bought mutiple guilds from Euro servers? and claim they have heart? and SOR quits? Oh, I get it, good job BG, way to have heart and not give up! You guys are awesome! Hopefully SOR can learn your ways =)

Really great fights today from BG, haven’t faced you guys in a very long time. Those fights on SOS hills and garrison were my favourite. you guys really brought it thanks

I’m not sure if half of the post are from people who never read the forums before now or just brand new WvWers who have no idea. Let me recap.

-SoR was very enthusiastic at the start.
-Last week NA players pulled overtime on the weekends to cover our weak spots.
-Weekday started and we lost grip, specially in our said weak spot, losing nearly 10k/day
-During NA prime we can make up a few or have even fights with BG, but drops off again during off hours.
-SoR decides to just go back to play for fights and not worry about PPT, going back to our original stance of not doing overtime. Read our recruitment thread, it specifically discourage over-coverage.
-Weekend hits for W3. You have your average SoR playtime. BG has near full coverage 24/7. Does not matter when SoR comes to play, there will be good fights to be had during any of their primetime.
-SoR discouraged? yeah, chances are high that puggies and a few WvW guild members are discouraged, but the normal WvW players still show up for WvW as normal, this time with less pug support.
-If BG want’s to claim superior skill to beat SoR, then go ahead, it’s still not going to make SoR players put in more overtime, we originally put in overtime to push PPT, but seeing as it doesn’t matter how much you guys win by or lose by you still get the standard 5-3-1 points, it makes no difference to push hard and then lose in the lower coverage zones.
-BG will maintain high numbers, because your morale is high and your puggies will inflate your numbers around the clock, while SoR puggies decrease. Keep your coverage, we’ll play and have fun on our terms.

BG just really over stacked for blow out wins. Just that simple. SoR will fight in the time slots that they have proper coverage. You will get the fights than. But in the other time slots that you over compensated for, you will have little fight. Cannot fight people that are not there to fight. Plain and simple.

But to claim you only received one guild is not accurate either. How is SoR ticking so low during oceanic-sea prime even after gaining all those guilds in the weeks leading up to leagues (FRAG, AT, Ph) and BG losing so many guilds (MERC, TKG, SUPR, WM)? Looking at the number of guilds and how much they field, SoR should have almost double the numbers of BG during this timezone O.o

Or is it because KnT is playing 24/7 again? Like that week when MERC left.

Everyone knows coverage is the end all, be all, correct?

Your boy Smokee claimed post after post last week BG had zero queues for any time zone except late PST. His strategy worked to a tee as guilds like ZD’s immediately transferred over and am sure countless other smaller guilds or individual players did as well to escape the queues.

If you ever read about ZDs transfer, you would know they sent scouts to multiple servers, and they liked the fact we didn’t have late sea/early eu ques, so they transferred to bg. Continue crying about bg getting one guild. SoR isn’t even making an effort, not 1 map of sor is qued.

It’s sort of funny when even when one praises BG, they still get defensive, haha.

I don’t care if you are praising or hurling insults, you should just get your facts right.

We ended up with a stroke of luck in recruiting, which shifted the dynamic a bit from week one. As one of SOR’s main strengths was now countered, that change will hurt SOR far more than JQ in a 1v1 match up.

Morale is high on BG. Much like it was for you when SOR first got IRON, so our turn out has increased as well.

It would have been far healthier for SOR’s morale, if JQ and SOR had switched places this week. As such, through no fault of your own, its going to depress SOR’s PUG numbers. Not to mention, the PVE events during the league are going to do the exact same thing.

SOR has long been a crafty, skilled, and resourceful opponent. If you have a momentary morale dip, I have no doubt you’ll be right back up, with the next rabbit you pull out of your own hats. You are far too dangerous of a server not to watch carefully.

Like us, you are one of the top three gold servers for a reason. You’ve earned it.

You’ll be back on your feet soon enough. Like my own server, you’re just to feisty to stay down.

+1 to that. All guilds who looking for PvD and bandwagon, plz take note, we don’t have a warchest and unable to pay you 10k per guild. Go to BG.

Folks, anyone who plays in NA timezone knows exactly what is happening here. SOR NA guilds are just not showing up whereas BG guilds are playing crazy overtime.

Where is WARD/ACO/RISE/TW/TYSM/GSCH? These guilds have not been out in force for a long time and has considerably weakened SOR NA.

I guess it is true what people say about SOR being a blackhole server

Titan in the week 2 thread already stated he only brings his 70 man guild to WvW when Blackgate is winning. ZD’s numbers multiplied by the number of unmanned doors equates to another 100+ players that BG did not have prior to their move. In addition as Fannwong posted in the other thread, PVX from SOR went to BG as well. This is not counting the unknowns of which I already spotted a handful in this thread per their post history.

Good try though I hope all that Overtime and Guild purchases ensures BG for a dolyak finisher…

Yes please enlighten us as to what other guilds BG got in the last 1-2 weeks? Seems you know more than the people of Blackgate, my guild included which is part of the war council.. So yeah please feel free to tell me who else did we massively and magically recruit in the last 2 weeks?

Also I thinks its hilarious, go back to the last 2 weeks before seasons and read all the posts from mostly these same trolls and forum wariors from JQ and SOR… Not 1 of you gave BG a chance to win in our 1 v 1 matchups much less a 3 way… Not 1 of you posted anything other to than the fact BG would get their butts kicked in seasons and the best we could do is 3rd at best! Yall remember those posts? Cause guess what… we here at BG remember them.. and whether you show up or dont show up over the season i dont really care. Beating your server to dust is still satisfying for me, Hopefully out of the rubble a real fight will arise.

Props to Praetorian {PRAE} on SOR been seeing you guys out there running some decent havock fights. We will lock horns one of these days im sure. Just good to se this play style in T1 meta.

It’s hard to explain SoR’s performance besides low morale when you guys were beating us last week this time or the last time we guys met before League starts. EU time hasn’t even started yet….
