It’s sad that JQ seems to be consistently getting outscored and from what the JQ native was saying they are only queuing EBG. My guess is that BG keeps all four borders queued almost all the time, JQ is falling behind. If JQ doesn’t act quickly to turn this around in force this will probably seal the match and BG will win Season 1. This is the match point for BG.

You act as though you can never be happy about winning anything, because if you won then you must have had some unfair advantage. There will never be even numbers in every time zone on any server all the time. The BG WvW community has put a lot of work and thought into how to best use our available militia, especially in this match-up (which has been a fantastic week by the way). It seems to me like you are playing completely the wrong game mode, tpvp offers a level playing field with even numbers at all times.

As I’ve said before, I want to win, but I also want to win because I played better, not because I had some kind of unfair advantage. The ideal case for me right now would be a match between three servers, all three of which could field full queues on every map 24/7. Actually make that even better: nobody goes AFK, there are no spies, nobody uses glitches or hacks or anything like that, everyone has an infinite amount of superior siege blueprints + gold to upgrade stuff, etc. THAT would be WvW at its best and something awesome to participate in.

To the person that suggested we’d never have 24/7 even numbers. Thats not exactly true. For a good chunk of this last weekend numbers were pretty even between BG and JQ. That first week of league all three servers did a pretty good job of keeping numbers roughly even and when they weren’t for all 3, they usually were for at least 2 so nobody got hit too hard since there was always a counterbalance. The last JQ/BG/SoR before leagues was very similar. Those periods were also probably the best times I’ve had in this game because you could always find a, more or less, fair fight, win or lose.

It’s not an issue for either SoR or JQ. ZDs seems to have a drastic and immediate demoralizing effect on people though. The same can be said for when IRON first transferred to T1. We adapted better then than JQ/SoR are now, though. It’s probably due to the consecutive 1v1’s that exacerbate coverage flaws. Together, we’d be a lot more even and people would be a lot more inclined to play instead of ragequit.

I remember when JQ had the 5k lead this match up I noticed a drop in participation from pugs. If JQ held onto that momentum, we’d probably be experiencing the same participation drought they are now, but fortunately BG rallied.

From my perspective, having Agg/Ns tag team Omega Golem rushing with you last night made it really challenging but, still playable. Having that fly hacker in Hill’s right after was a bit much. Kinda’ suckes the fun out of WvW when people take it that far. It’s just not worth it. I kept playing but, just went through the motions.

I’m with those that don’t want a second season at all. It really brings out the bad side in us. For now, I’m going to get some food, aspirin, and some caffeine, and see if maybe tonight we can make it fun again.

I watched some of their stream last night and the Hills siege. They really preyed on your militia until you rallied enough of a zerg to push them out before breaching inner. While I was able to watch anyways .. dunno what happened later. Not sure why they chose to go after you guys last night, but I guess the same could be said for why they went after us the previous night. They’re having fun their way I guess.

I didn’t hear about Superman making a cameo though. Sorry about that. Hopefully no damage was done.

Honestly, we only started having queues when season 1 started and the achievement hunters came out in force. Most likely this is the same for all T1 servers and maybe some T2’s. I am sure BG have seen the same.

What you are seeing now is our core plus some WvW converts out there fighting, especially in EU. Since some of the hunters would rather not play WvW if they can’t get their rewards quickly and the idea of actually grafting for them is not so attractive.

Luckily some of them have stayed in WvW so its been good for all sides really. Our WvW participation rate is higher than it was pre Season 1 so as much as I dislike the whole achievement stuff and I play for the realm based pvp alone Anet have ultimately given the WvW format a bit more life.

Conversely, BG’s achievement hounds are still out there with BG’s core because the rewards are easier to get. As others have said, if we had managed to build up a 10K lead over the weekend with crazy hours it might have been boot on other foot.

Personally I am glad the queues are gone because I don’t have to sit around waiting in a queue to play the game format I bought this kitten for.

Our point tick when I logged tonight was 230 and we were starting to get some sort of foothold on BG BL so it was better. Hopefully our NA prime core can push on a bit. If not, I do know they will do their best anyway.

Jeydra wasn’t even on BG before the league. He clearly has no clue what is the main factor of players influx in wvw after the league started.
I don’t care if he helped to build sieges or whatever, most of us know how to do that. I want to see him get out of BG to some server which is not stacked and I will pay fully for him. A small dose of toxin might not rot the community but the side effect is unpleasant and disgusting.

We can’t easily fill 4 maps in every timeslot. We do fill 4 maps in most timeslots during leagues by having a large player base running 15+ hours a day and getting no sleep doing it. We do it because we want to win. We don’t just login and play our timezone and logout. If we did that we would have the same problems JQ is having. We have more players who want to win and will do what it takes and I’m proud of BG for having the dedication to be on track to achieve what we have been working hard for despite having a nightmare of a draw.

Everyone should read this post, 100% correct. The bigger lead the WvW’ers get the more PvX/E shows up and bolsters ranks, its just that simple. And the complete opposite effect happens to the server with low PPT.

Our ques last night werent too long for BG.. but i can tell you that every fight we had last night and over the early morning hours, im looking at you merc!, we were out numbered and still had some amazing and fun fights. The night finished for me when we took hills on bgbl from JQ from merc. Insane fight! love the competition everyone and noone should be salty or trying to make up excuses about anything, win or lose this has been crazy fun!

I just cant wait for this pve crap to leave wvw and for the pve only ppl who dont care to get into ts and follow orders or even speak in /say /team /shout, just run around mindlessly doing the meta…

I’m posting this again so people from BG can get a taste of reality.

You, BG, need to stop saying you “broke” servers. The reality, servers have accepted the scenario that it truly is. They’re not going to pull OT like JQ did over the weekend if there’s no reason or anything gained from it.

Every server knows that BG bought the guild (ZD) to be the strongest server during every NA servers (especially SoR and JQ) weakest timezone to sway league their way. Hence, they knew they needed to go shopping for guilds because JQ and SoR beat them week 40 and JQ beat them horribly week 41 leading up to league. Also, NA prime can barely make a dent when ZD and EU has fully fortified nodes with a constant queue vs paper trash that SEA and NA from other servers can pick up.

Everyone knows BG organized the 2v1 on JQ. SoR played the hand they were dealt because they knew to get second they had to put JQ in 3rd in the first week and do it again on the last week of league. There goes the argument “we didn’t have ZD the first week so it shows we didn’t need them”. That’s only true because you had the help of SoR.

As for JQ, you’re the true winners. JQ, since the beginning of GW2, has been T1. That’s the ultimate compliment, because with guild shifts as frequent for a server the fall can too. SBI, SoS, and many others that have been to T1 can preach to that. JQ has won the most times out of any server. (19-1st, 17-2nd, and 19-3rd=55) The closest one to them is BG (14-11-14=39).

So no matter what JQ, you’re still the true, clear winners even if you don’t get 1st or 2nd over this politically manipulative league season. BG can have that win.

You’re posting again so that people can point out the truth to crash you.
1. The truth is, JQ bought MERC, WVW and GD prior to the league. Being condemned for stacking ocx and sea, the Far Eastern Warlord had a message for everyone “All war is deception, JQ would do anything to win the league. Timezone stacking is not a problem” Nothing much to say, we accepted, we absorbed, we learnt and we practiced it. Almost everyone overtime to stack every timezone. No one but JQ themselves to blame.

2. JQ SEA intended to ‘invite’ BG to 2v1 SOR because as they said “All war is deception. To survive and because BG is impossible to win the league, JQ and BG must 2v1 SOR”. We did not have to organize. Whoever with little intelligence would 2v1 JQ in that scenario. Again, no one but JQ themselves to blame.

3. Yes. I agree JQ is the true winner. If BG wins this league, JQ is the most contributing party in terms of war philosophy, strategies, motivation and indirectly providing BG all the dedication we need to win this league.

I like how Windler said SoR participated in the 2v1 so they could get second. SoR participated because they thought they could get first, you numpty. Unfortunately, they didn’t get a Week 2 infusion of ZDs.

BG needs to get to the next level and let me buy achievement points so I can get my glowy helm.

This is the opposite of SoR. I still can’t believe ppl still care about ppt. 15+ hours a day? You couldn’t pay me enough to play more than 3-4 hours at a time.

I really do not understand why people keep bringing up week 1. Week 1 was a direct result of the announced weekly matchups, and the fact that JQ fought 2 T2 servers 3 weeks while BG/SOR only fought that type of match 1 week. At that time, the only way to stop JQ from winning season 1 hands down, was to push them to third. SoR knew that, BG knew, that and I am dead certain most of JQ knew it was coming. The only reason BG won, is because nobody expected BG to take all of the matches against SOR. Not our fault that SoR and JQ underestimated us.

“Everyone knows ZD was bought” Really? and how much did we pay them? The only times we have ever given money to guilds, was to help pay for transfer fees, and generally that does not even cover all of it. So please explain how BG “Bought” guilds, when no money was made for the transfer guild. And as far as that goes, what about the guilds that JQ “bought” pre-season. I find it funny how 1 guild coming over has somehow destroyed all server balance, yet Monday morning (monday night for SEA) JQ was padding a lead that they had taken from us on the weekend, yet all of a sudden in the same timezone today, it is the exact reverse. Did ZD decide to change their timezone to OCX/SEA/EU, or is it just that JQ didn’t show up with the numbers they had on monday?

I really expected this week to be repeated flipping of first place, with BG’s EU/NA taking back the lead every night, and JQ’s SEA/OCX doing the same during their prime times. For whatever reason, JQ just did not seem to show up this morning, and it put them in a very hard spot.

The funny thing is about week 1 is that SOR probably would have won if JQ SEA didn’t think we were the weakest server and decided to 2 v 1 SOR at the end . It was a bad call on their part and would have given you all the 2 v 1 against BG in week 7 that you had been dreaming about.

Nah just got the worlds fastest infraction and mod delete lol. But meh, even when we used to field those kind of zergs on BG we wouldn’t chestbeat like the op, numbers are numbers and crap happens.

To anyone who think BG=Buy to win you forget some kind of players BG has.

Me and my friends do play in league over 10 hours/day (we normally play 2-3 hours/day)
What I do in my 10 hours play.
1. Scouting.
2. Walking Yaks (I main Ele and change to Ranger for “Sick em” to fight Thief yak hunter, yes there is no queue in my time zone.)
3. Get Bloodlust.
4. Run supply to build ACs to defend towers and Keeps.

I’m doing these things and get 2 WvW Level/day in 10 hours play, but I’m happy coz there is not only me do this kind of job. I always see BG fellas walk beside me, do these housewife job for server.

Our ques last night werent too long for BG.. but i can tell you that every fight we had last night and over the early morning hours, im looking at you merc!, we were out numbered and still had some amazing and fun fights. The night finished for me when we took hills on bgbl from JQ from merc. Insane fight! love the competition everyone and noone should be salty or trying to make up excuses about anything, win or lose this has been crazy fun!

I just cant wait for this pve crap to leave wvw and for the pve only ppl who dont care to get into ts and follow orders or even speak in /say /team /shout, just run around mindlessly doing the meta…

Sorry what… you rushed a keep with a zone blob and 15 omegas and you are saying you were outnumbered when we had 24 people in total on map on 3 maps. Try to use less LSD when playing thanks.

Yes. Tarkus only logs off GW2 in rage when you bring 45 omega golems through his T3 keeps and take them all in a few minutes.

I’ve only ragequit once and that was in SoS on the first week of leading. I wasn’t even online for the 45 Omega rush but I hear it was pretty crazy.

True irony is moaning to a server that they are ducking the score to get more guilds, when said server takes a break right before the beginning of season one and… lululul
