I heard condi necros/engie, thieves, and healaway rangers are NOT fotm classes. so is it just too much easy mode in one sitting that it shoots the skill meter back over to the bad side? Another thing I heard is if you play the class from launch you get out of the fotm lols.

Yes that’s a surprisingly prevalent way of dealing with defeat and subsequent humiliation.

You know I’m sorry but I just can’t get jazzed playing a server like FA or SBI who has a wvw population so large that they can not only cap both their opponents BLs but still run a large zerg in EB and have enough to man towers in their corner.

It’s not an impressive feat of skill or show of ingenious tactics. It’s like watching a tsunami from the shore. Nothing skillful about brute force. I know they have to keep active by map watching and waiting for us to attempt upgrades before they let out zerg #8 of 40 to just cap and run.

Any money I would have spent to buy gold for upgrades and siege is not leaving my pocket now. How were transfers allowed to beef up certain servers and hurt others after leagues were set. I mean, IOJ lost a couple guilds that provided manpower that enabled us to be ranked silver then left before the league started. Not that those guilds were exceptional but they had bodies. Any subtraction from IOJ was an addition to FA. So it was a double hit in the number dept.

Trading deadlines are set in professional sports for a reason. If not, the teams with the best record towards the end of the season would just cherry pick stars for the playoffs. That is basically what happened here. And it has hurt IOJ and other servers I’ve talked to because who wants to play against a blob and just spend good money after bad when all that is happening is those two servers are just getting more and more transfers damaging the rest of the league. Sort of short sighted if you ask me.

Seriously… there is nothing left to say to you, you mate are as thick as a brick and just couldn’t accept it was a great night for a solid 6 hours with wipes on both sides, but ok, I really can’t be bothered dealing with you anymore, so here it is…

We died = we are bad. We need to learn to play cause we are so bad, we actually died.
That video you posted of 1 fight over a 6 hour period of many wipes on your side and ours just proves how bad we are. From now on we will refrain from using alts, uplevels and/or new builds to have fun while we are in WvW.

The internet where I am right now is as bad as that other guy who could only watch on 480p (although I got 1080p, just loaded slow) thought I saw him running the regen/evade build that has been fotm. Congrats to IoJ for keeping FA out of your keep for 6 or more hours. I don’t know how you kept getting those mortars up to take out our trebs, but it was much fun to finally take it all down.

TLDR: Nothing that anyone who plays WvW doesn’t already know. I’m sorry we left IoJ, but we did what was best for our guild. You guys are putting up a mad fight however. Don’t sell yourself short.

Yes it is common knowledge but nonetheless it’s unfortunate that it had to happen that way. It would be easy to blame a guild or two for leaving at the eleventh hour after leagues were set. It basically crippled IOJ before the season started. Personally, it was a selfish move and shows lack of character. But the rules allowed it to happen.

We know we are good and we never sell ourselves short. The ones who stayed have grown closer and are hardened enough to want to do the best for IOJ and fight out of personal pride. Any one of us could have transferred or given up but that element left early on from IOJ. The ones that remain are loyal. You can’t buy loyalty.

At least playing as under dogs has made us hone our skills and become much better players than we could ever have been otherwise. We are able to do well as a smaller force and not rely on blob tactics where half or more never take part in the wipe but are just the flotsam and jetsam that follow the zerg. Who wants to be the 30th man into the lords room with 20 still behind and not really partaking in the cap or getting any loot because the lord melted from the first 25 people.

When the numbers are close to equal we have prevailed more than lost because also rans in zergs never really have to fight, its done before they really make an impact.

Maybe this will be a lesson for next season. I like the look of IOJ now because those that stayed are loyal and integral to the future success of IOJ.

The internet where I am right now is as bad as that other guy who could only watch on 480p (although I got 1080p, just loaded slow) thought I saw him running the regen/evade build that has been fotm. But its been strong for a few months so maybe you’re right and it isn’t fotm anymore. Good catch!

Signants effect the player aswell as the pet. Well at least that’s what I see 8-10 rangers run.

You know I’m sorry but I just can’t get jazzed playing a server like FA or SBI who has a wvw population so large that they can not only cap both their opponents BLs but still run a large zerg in EB and have enough to man towers in their corner.

It’s not an impressive feat of skill or show of ingenious tactics. It’s like watching a tsunami from the shore. Nothing skillful about brute force. I know they have to keep active by map watching and waiting for us to attempt upgrades before they let out zerg #8 of 40 to just cap and run.

Any money I would have spent to buy gold for upgrades and siege is not leaving my pocket now. How were transfers allowed to beef up certain servers and hurt others after leagues were set. I mean, IOJ lost a couple guilds that provided manpower that enabled us to be ranked silver then left before the league started. Not that those guilds were exceptional but they had bodies. Any subtraction from IOJ was an addition to FA. So it was a double hit in the number dept.

Trading deadlines are set in professional sports for a reason. If not, the teams with the best record towards the end of the season would just cherry pick stars for the playoffs. That is basically what happened here. And it has hurt IOJ and other servers I’ve talked to because who wants to play against a blob and just spend good money after bad when all that is happening is those two servers are just getting more and more transfers damaging the rest of the league. Sort of short sighted if you ask me.

You’re right. That ranger had no idea what was going on lol. But the commander was an alt? What about the guys with guard stacks? And that was a lot of nourishment for some alt fun time. Cmdr sigil and full food seems a bit much for non serious time =P

Not to mention it drops any and all respect a server has for a guild. Personally I don’t trust server hoppers that much…if they hopped once, who’s to say they won’t hop again and leave that server high and dry? For example, I expect certain guilds who hopped at the beginning of the season to hop to another server for the next season, and to repeat the process for every season.

It’s cute your friend is getting you to fight his battles but all this crying from you guys has gotten old.

Also, I think my words were “we were playing on alts” can’t fault the commander for having to put up with us being rally bots running 2 scorpion wires and 30/30/0/10/0 traits to troll.

But yer, you and your FB should just get over it mate.
All I originally said was a great 6 hours with wipes on both sides and then your friend pounced on us with 1 video of 1 fight and made insults, I really can’t be bothered with it anymore and as most of IOJ knows, we were planning on transferring and Ebay with the respect most showed was looking to be number 1 choice at the time but you and your friend have really shown what your server is like, Thank you.

If it makes you guys feel any better, we are currently on your BL running 4 engies to troll with supply crates, feel free to come wipe us if you like.

I am so proud of IoJ yesterday as we defended our EB keep from waves and waves and waves of FA and their golems.

In the end we lost the keep but it was a very valiant effort.

To all Janthinians, I am proud of you guys. Not to worry if we lose as long as we stick together as a community.
