Shout out to the BETSY/AD guild combo on Ebay. Best fights of the week for WS. We’ve had a couple good fights. You guys had more people on reset really kitten up our game, and since then it’s been pretty even our us outnumbering you guys by a decent margin. Props though you guys stay in there and fight even outmanned /salute.
Besides that Soooooo bored. The kittened up thing about a match up like this is for the most part whatever remains of IOJ/Ebay will zerg together or solo roam as we’re so bored we all rush to the first sight of action on any map we find. Hell I don’t blame you guys with FA zerging all over the place it’s the only chance you guys have to even find fair fights. WS may not zerg, but havoc needs a zerg guild on map to keep the enemy zerg from just spawn camping, and zerging down everyone. You guys just don’t have the numbers to get into more than one group to get anything done on a map.
Lastly there’s been some mention that FA tanked to be in silver and i can assure you that was not this server’s intention. There may have been individuals that tanked (can’t control that), but as a server we didn’t want this. We lost important meta guilds in the weeks before leagues, kitten magumma tryhards played 10 hours shifts, and SOS got golden MOS matchups making it hard to catch up in rankings on them. Then to really pile on the silver league servers 2 days before the season starts at least 3 good sized NA guilds transferred (again we didn’t ask them or paid a copper for their transfer), and just recently got another big NA transfer guild. This games been around for over a year and it’s time to admit the lower tiers feed the higher tiers with coverage. There are almost no good sized guilds that transfer down ever, and most that do transfer back up.

IoJ is killing it NA morning shift. Keep it up folks!

I’m sorry for my previous post if it came off wrong, it was at the end of a very long night and I was probably not in the right mindset to be posting on a public forum. Please allow me to explain myself.

We had had an amazingly fun fight outside of a garrison you guys had during which many of your players were considerate enough to stand aside and let it be a fair match btw our guild and one of yours. We then were getting ready to face those players and got hit by another guild, so once again they stood to the side so it could be decided fairly.

Then we got zerged by a conglomerate of guilds. No worries about that, we were in a WvW setting and there are no rules as to who can and cannot attack other then red = dead. I just really respected the way many of your members showed discipline and patience and was upset that we weren’t able to pay it back with a good fight.

Transferring from T1 has proved to be everything DIE hoped it would be and then some, I look forward to the coming days and weeks here on Ebay against any opponents who don’t buy guilds just to make sure they have someone there on off hours to PvDoor for them.

Anyways, cheers and thank you for all the fun fights.

They’ve yet to show it this week, best servers we’ve played against is DB and BP while no real skilled guild groups in total they as servers are skilled.

FA was getting “stomped” for half a year in tier 2. The only difference between FA and other servers is that it didn’t crumble under the pressure like Kaineng and Dragonbrand.

Unless you’ve seen the upper tiers, you can only dream of the numbers playing at all hours.

Say what, a totally red map with an upgraded garri and waypoint in IoJ today? And on a pve living story update day??? Not sure I know how to use a garri waypoint, is there some trick to it or do you just click on it?

Hopefully we will have some epic garri defense fights rather than just a red blob rolling over us. FA camp flipping groups sure know how to run away well during NA dayshift. Us slow folks in our crappy pve gear just can’t keep up with FA’s superior speed decked out wvw super tough gear. And the one time you killed my little party, got a nice laugh and face sitting emote. Truly amazing stuff. Does FA pve just as awesome as they wvw? Might come and guest over there to see it first hand.

These forums are pretty entertaining as well, best read this whole season. Sorta like a bad teenage romance novel, with all the ex-girlfriend/boyfriend break up drama you could ever want. CORE broke up with IoJ, IoJ is resentful, jealous new girlfriend FA resents that CORE still is in love with ex-IoJ.

All shenanigans aside, been a super fun week. Great to see old friends on the battlefield, do miss some of you CORE folk, but IoJ is getting some valuable experience, will be no time at all before we build up our wvw base again. Already seeing great things from our wvw community.

Running with so many allows the unskilled blob to hide its weakness. Plus being lucky to have transfers bolster your ranks and cripple another server was a good pre-league tactic. Brilliant actually. I will never be impressed by sheer numbers. It’s not considered a tactical win when Superman steps on an ant. Call it what it is, a swarming zombie like hive driven mentality and you claim victory as if you did something special.

I’m sure FA has some very good players and some very nice people. Unfortunately I haven’t seen the skill yet because when you are beaten up 5 on1 it’s hard to tell who is really good. Plus on the roads of EB or the BLs all I come across is an endless stream of warrior and guardian builds. Again, no skill required with those numbers.

So in your ignorance you call those that were true to IOJ bad players. A statement that could only come from the arrogance of someone who can’t recognize loyalty. Remember, because we are forced to fight larger numbers we must be creative and use skills the blobs don’t need, we are actually better and stronger. Proven on the few occasions our numbers were comparable, we usually won out. In smaller groups I’ve grown accustomed to seeing the backs of FA because without the hive it’s easier to run.

I won’t disagree. Silver League came at a good time for FA, but as long as we’re having fun, we’ll be out to fight.

Got to love waving at a guild group (WP) from FA just looking to gank guys coming to our Astral camp. I wave at them and one tries to pull me over while another looks to stealth gank me. Finally they grow a pair and start to engage (5v1). I dance around them for a while. I even go stealth near the cliff and one takes it upon himself (an Asuran Corporal Engineer) to laugh all the while I’m standing right next to him. Guess he thought I was running.
