Looking forward to this, hopefully we can get some more interesting fights compared to the last few matchups of either getting 60 man blobbed when trying to do small group stuff or getting 5v1 when trying to solo roam. Gl Hf all.

Well well, been a long day defending bay in Vabbi BL, but it’s held! Eventually got room to move to other zones…

The kitten ed waypoint going uncontested cost us our cap on arbor hills, an entire zerg appearing through waypoint just as we were killing the lord, blergh!

Onto WSR BL after, first fight with TasH there was quite enjoyable, some more Vabbi joined in towards the end but at the start when we were 5 it was fun trying to dodge that melee train. Slightly saddening to then find myself getting veil charged by the guild group + pugs attached when I’m alone fighting 1v3 a few minutes later :/

agree, however, here is our point of view, we were nightcapped into 3rd place, we had no wp’s up and needed every point we can to get into second. at that time we were killing everyone, roamers, guild teams, whatever, ’cos we needed the sups for upgrades.

I enjoy defending a lot, and when we get overpowered fair enough, we don’t have the numbers that we get sent against. That’s the life of a loyal vabbian. But what I dont like is when they have to double team to get stuff done. That’s just disrespectful to the worst server in the kitten game.

if you find defending fun that’s fair enough, but when you’re defending you need to be prepared for when a guild spikes a keep. i on the other hand, find it’s fun to remove waypoints. if we had more people on for longer, we would have removed the other arborstone waypoints too.

No we’re not, we don’t have the numbers during the day, and we don’t have them at night either. So please stop saying vabbi is stronger because you have no idea, your not here, so please don’t talk for us. I’m here, I play at both times, 4pm-8pm : 12am-4am, we have less than you lot. The night capers are probably no more than 10 players at night time, spread over 4 worlds.

Which will continue because our borderland is being karma trained again, you lot probably had your fill of PvE the last few weeks, and let out the frustration on us because “we’re” a push over. We’re got more odds stack against us as we’re got all the bugged towers, and keeps this week. I wouldn’t be surprised if WSR and AS are doing it to us. WSR have been caught countless times, by FoW, cheating.

I’m probably the only one person that noticed your attack on Garrison, and informed Vabbi about it, still by the time we got there, there was a zerg of you inside, and AS outside.

P.S. I have the up most respect for [TasH], with what they had to endure when you lost all the other WvW guilds. But as a server, WSR can officially go to hell.

i really don’t understand the bitterness coming from certain parts of vabbi. it’s clear some of you like to complain about how vabbi is so ‘weak’ , but after transfers and time to sort guilds you’re really not. this is a very close matchup, only 1k in it right now and like it or not; the strength of a server in wvw is based on it’s score.

as for being ‘zerging’ roamers, yes, we killed you, it wasn’t fun for us either, but roamers take camps, which prevents upgrades. while you may have transferred to vabbi ‘cos you don’t care, some of us still play wvw because we like playing wvw, and wvw is about the score.

there is a mode called spvp for small scale balanced fights.

Spvp ist nor really for balanced fight it is capture the flag :p

Also most roamers don’t want balanced fights, more prefering to fight against bigger numbers (and then flame on the forums about getting zerged when losing ^^).

All the Vabbi is weak you are mean! Is maybe force of habit ^^ Ofcourse Vabbi is weak compared to nearly every Server except WSR :p

Vabbi still doesn’t care much about Points though, People mostly playing on Vabbi because they like the people there and because they want to fight not just PPT better then others. I really like that attitude :p

how you like to play is completely fair enough, but people are not being considerate of how other people like to play, whether that is karma training or night capping. in some cases our server had been directly insulted, which is saddening considering how vabbi used to be.

however, to say vabbi doesn’t care about ppt is slightly misguided, many vocal players might not care, but the server clearly does. as i said, this is a very close matchup right now

Honestly sick of this comparison, As someone whos played a fair amount of tpvp, I can tell you endless lists of things that are different.

To even suggest that tpvp is “Small scale balanced fights” is just ignorant. If you played much tpvp you would know the common strategy is to have unbalanced fights in order to win. So no, Its not small scale balanced fights. Sure its a 5v5 gamemode, but you rarely ever have a 5v5 in a tpvp game because that would mean there would be 2 points undefended.

If you enjoy zerging and want to zerg, thats fine. We all do what we find is fun. Just don’t start telling other people who prefer smallscale that tpvp is for “Small balanced fights” if you don’t know how it works.
