there was one in the tower last fight we had none…. we got in as gate went down and maybe if you spilt your blob we wouldn’t have to stack like that don’t see you running around open field in a team of 15-20

Vabbi is the land of the roamers. Because that’s pretty much the only thing they can do during some matches. Roamers are usually more skilled than zerglings.

That’s why we’re trying to discourage zerg guilds and “We want to win” players from transferring to Vabbi, because it is the last place that roamers really have – helped by the fact it isn’t going to rise up through the ranks and start meeting bigger and bigger zergs.

It’s a shame that it will almost always be against the same few servers in T9, but the alternative is to meet servers that are simply too zergy for roamers to have anything to do.

Sadly there are many ‘Hero’ guilds that see Vabbi being empty and decide that it must just be because the players need a pro commander like themselves, move there, and the very next day post up saying “Oh guys Vabbi is awesome you should all come join!! If we just get a few more ppl we can totally win!”. So far all of such guilds have either left quickly, or spent the entire time (and still do) karma training – there were people in EB tonight saying NOT to defend things so that they could recapture them… yet still preach about “If people come on TS and listen to us we can win”.

Vabbi done something for both Vabbi and Fissure, and that’s so during prime time we can focus the kitten beeep outa BT, not for score, not for tick, but for good enjoyable fights, but I guess BT 90% of BT’s zerglings are idiots among many eh? You’ll PvD them gates rather than siege them.

Let me start by expressing my gratitude. In a world of polite matchup threads full of happy campers, your condescending tone is refreshing.
However, you seem to under a wrong impression. Being last (and having been for such a long time) isn’t a horrible fate. Being stuck on a server in the low 20 ranks that personifies mediocrity and pettiness – now that’s something i don’t envy anybody for.

A lot of people here are refugess from the glorious “normal wvw”. Continue to stack on your commander and blast fire fields, only to see all of it crumble once you meet a server with more numbers or a raid guild that actually knows what they are doing.
Continue to karma train with as many people as you can, only to lose an entire borderland to ten people during prime time.
Meanwhile we’ll continue with our abnormal practices, like ignoring commanders, praying to Ham and sodomizing our yaks.

Would just like to state, maybe 75% of Vabbi actually don’t care about score (they probably don’t even know how to play wvw?), they use WvW for leveling alts that they’ll never use again. The 25% actually care about WvW, not for score, not for tick, but more for the fun and enjoyment that small scale provides.

I could name several guilds that just love picking on zergs, and thrashing them, just for the thrill of the kill, and improve their gameplay, all small scale roaming guilds.

Vabbi is a normal WvW server, we have our zergs, we have our roamers, we have our defenders. What we don’t have and don’t want is numbers. If we wanted to go up the ladder, we would have done so months ago, but no.. we want to stay at the bottom.

P.S. Vabbi isn’t as bad as what you might think.

So as you can see we don’t have as many ppl as your imagine tells you, btw we also serach for some good fights not chasing some roamers that thinks that they are such good, and die on first bomb from any orgainized guild or pug, not fun for any guild at all. Such matchup just kill wvw.

Yes, Balcktide wants to rise and improve players skills, we want to enjoy every aspect of wvw against best players, This is hard to find at bottom ladder as you probably can figure out by yourself.

I could say BT has lowest numbers from low, middle 20 ranks, and even with weak night capping team we can put real pressure on best servers here, RoF is good example, this server has better force then DZ according to me, but mixed with us they losted to Germans. Vabbi always taking advantage of best server job , and don’t say this is not the truth. Someone who flipping empty borders really have a need for score success but you are just to weak to do it as wvw community. Insted you just say we want small scale only! or 90% of Blacktiders are idiots, very pathetic.

Don’t write about things that you have no idea, silver and gold league is full of premium quality fights in every way that you can even imagine.

Firstly, Most of the people you’re talking to have moved down from a silver league server and have been on gold league servers also. So infact its YOU that doesn’t know what you’re talking about. “Quality fights”? you mean hour long queues and mapwide skill lag are quality fights?

As for not being able to flip borders, we flipped yours in primetime with 10 guys. Why? Because your not organised, Just another karma train. When you did come back with your mighty zerg, you got wiped and then changed map, Then never attacked untill you had 40+ people and ours had gone to bed.

If you’re talking about roamers dying to an organised guild of 15+, then obviously thats going to happen, has nothing to do with skill. You’re the guy preaching how good you are when the reality is you’re just another full zerker blue dorito zerger who talks trash all day long on forums and won’t show up to any organised even fights ingame.

People who run a guild with under 10 people generally are smallscale, Its not an excuse. I’m sure they could all recruit randoms from LA and buy a 100g badge to run around if they really wanted but they don’t because they’re better than that and would rather challenge themselfs.

When the guild group is 4x the size of the roamers, what other outcome do you expect? If you run with 5 people for rest of week and we all run as a 20+ stack for the rest of the week how long would you expect to live?

Not every capture is done for points by the way, that may be why you do it but a lot of us do it because it draws in the opponent into that zone and thus provides a fight. Defenses are lots of fun, although you have likely never experienced it. Just because we capture things does not make our statements about not wanting to win any less valid.

I’m guessing we all have fun playing wvw (well unless someone is forced to:P) otherwise we woudn’t do that.
Seems like we have have bigger numbers in this matchup and it comes with all the pros and cons. More players – more randoms. The best results you get with smaller better organized group, and it is really awesome how those can sometimes destroy much bigger groups. Some really nice actions from FoW and Vabbi, good job

Now there is no reason to argue over player skill on forum – if blacktide is winning this matchup it doesnt mean that we are most skilled players. If fow/vabbi can put some well organized guild/group and destroy our random zerg lemmings running carelessly and trying to cap everything it is good for them, but it doesn’t mean that vabbi/fow players are more skilled than blacktide. It is just how things works

Now lets continue on doing our things and have fun in wvw. Im sure I will have lots of fun fighting and killing you guys and I’m quite sure aswell I will get killed by one of your organized group because I will run in big group and not pay enough attention

BTW, you are wrong, better server have just more better players and scoreboard shows that well, I m not talking about night capping and server “alliances”, this is out of this, and can destroy right balance of force. RoF, RoS ,for example, are doing massive night capping and upgrading objects at night.
