Nice try on our Bay this morning NaZ. What was that 8 golems on a paper gate? I blinked and the gate was down, bad luck for you I was right by the gate escorting a dolly as you portaled in to attack so we had time to get people in to defend.

From what i can see Gunnars is fighting 2 servers this week. I have never seen RoF attack UW on the borderlands, i have only seen UW attack RoF once – today. I think we are doing pretty well considering the odds and ticking 400 in primetime despite facing 2 servers makes me pretty proud, remember GH was in T8 not very long ago. We certainly punch hardest in primetime, though SLAY is scoring in the nights in favour of UW when HT was scoring in favour of GH in the last matchups. Really good defense by UW and i also cannot say we are doing a good job attacking, our siege is without creativity and discipline, you notice a lot of guilds on GH dont really know how to take structures or defend stuff and are still playing the siege game like it was lots of months ago – quite unlike DEX and GuM who are extraordinary defenders, WvW players. The great GH guilds might be stronger in GvG or open field fights, but that alone doesnt win in WvW. Still we are holding ourselves against this massive onslaught very well and trying to keep our rating loss in check to avoid dropping to bronze league, which many Gunnars wouldnt like to see.

p.s. i dont mind you running from 1v1, i know im unbeatable ;D seriously. pm for duels, i always like to test my build against any opposition. dont pm me with your perma stealth thief or moa mesmer though (yawn).

I agree that GH has to fight 2 servers from time to time. BUT what did you expect UW to do? Everyone knew at the beginning that the victory will be decided between UW and GH. So ofcourse we focus on GH. We saw your lack of people during the day so we upgraded your Hills 2 times. RoF has probably in total a better coverage than GH or atleast used the pressure we put on GH over the day.
It is no real wonder that GH is ticking so high during the prime time this evening. New pve content hits a server plays more with pugs a bit harder than it hits a server with so many big guilds.
To the defending point. GuM is doing an awesome job. But DEX is not really defending at the moment. We had some fun with supplytraps which probably annoyed a few guilds in GH. Well we defended your Hills when we had waypoints. The only way to get Hills from us is now an Omega rush,

Seriously the fight inside sm lord was awesome, ty RoF and UW people that participate.

This is not meant as whining nor as anything against RAGE but all you enjoy is open field hugging with your other GH guilds. I rarely saw some of you running alone when the enemy had numbers close to yours.
At the reset DEX was able to stomp you 2 times, we had at the reset arround 25 people. In the week we had never more that 15 people and now we got stomped by your melee train. Nearly all i have seen from RAGE during the week in the prime times was hand holding with various other GH guilds. We faced you a few times in the open areas but allways were outnumbered there. You dont seek a challenge you seek kills and slaughter.

This is my personal opinion but i think many of the smaller UW guilds think the same.
Maybe its even something only DEX expierienced.

And here i have a small story to counter your roaming drama. DEX heard once that some guys of HT go to our northcamp. After a hard day of fighting big guild groups we had only 6 people that reacted and came to defend the camp. At the western exit we saw the roaming group of arround 10 HT which got supported by some other people. We dediced to attack them and even pushed them in the open field area outside of the camp and even downed a few people. In the middle of the fight something painful ran over us. The RAGE meleetrain came veiled into our 6 man group that allready was outnumbered. You interrupted a really nice small scale fight of which the end wasnt decided yet.

Oh my, someone got outta bed sore today.

Being an UW player who enjoys running alongside APE guild quite often I have to say your perception of RAGE is at best situational. I myself have had some decent fun attacking and defending against them this week and previously and imo they don’t look to blob and Karma train.. in fact quite the opposite they appear to either go looking for trouble or react to it when it finds them. Every guild whether it runs with a tag or not will at times pick up stragglers or in some cases when a guild commands respect on their own maps other players choose to run alongside them rather than following other groups or commanders.

So please quit the whine and learn to just roll with the punches… its WvW not 1v1 and all is fair in love and war.

Well when you see 2 equal in number guilds fight each other there is no need to go in and destroy the fight. In the end we are all here for the challenge and the fight not the loot (not always at least). I hope more guilds had the same opinion in this game.

As for yesterday the truth is that the loot was good. Also one day, or two, before one of you guys drop a Dawn for one of us and make him a happy cookie.

Had a great night on the UW BL tonight, and I missed the first half of it even.

Oh my god. Are we still whining about this GuM defending their keep thing? It’s really getting silly as we are mainly a defensive guild which is a rare sight nowdays. Most of us enjoy defending together, and that doesnt mean we’re sitting in the keep all day waiting for an attack, we are defending our whole border by taking bsck/defending camps/towers/keeps or even just fighting in the open.

We are not a large guild, so we dont do GvG yet, but im sure we will in time, but we love small scale fighting either its over a tower, camp, sentry point or even a bit of the map. The only thing that seems viable from your eyes is to me to run as a guild blob of 20-25 which in the end proves how good you are ect ect. Dont get me wrong, we have started doing this ourself in groups of 10-15 lately, and its fun! But what i dont get is flaming a guild that defend what we claim + our border in general. Most guilds just go for the endless lootbag or WXP farm.

Writing from my phone so this got a bit messy, but we scout alot all around the map so we are prepared for an attack most of the time, but surprise us or cap when we sleep and u will get our border!

Enjoy the rest of the fight, as i am in London for vacation i wont be here for the rest of the matchup, but when we meet again im looking forward to some more goof small scale fighting and 1vs1:D Already fought some TaG guys, TEO and WBC and ofc draugr ppl, had alot of fun!

We never had queue at UW and while all your numbers were busy defending bay at our BDL, you lost your t3 hills to rams^^ (<3 VM) and later the rest. Was some nice fights at Bay, Sunny, and in the open field too, see you guys tomorow for some more fights

We dont have any issues with RAGE, today we had a really nice fight before RoF briar against them. We enjoyed that one. And yeah our core members are still there but thats like 5 people. Some others might be considered as core members but we are in the phase of teaching our new people and even some of the old ones.
We made the decision to first improve our guild and play together before we start with any gvgs.

The last few days actually have been quite enjoyable with a lot of good fights. All we had to do was not to go to underworld border. (You can quote me for recruitment or advertising.)

Sounds like we give too much fun fights on our own BL.. Maybe we should stop giving them so you guys go back to UW BL and we can tick our safe, hard earned points.

All jokes besides, I’ve had alot of fun last days. We were all screaming and raging when you guys managed to choke us at Briar that easily while we outnumbered you ATLEAST 2:1, but hey, it happens. We’ve beaten you guys down aswell sometimes. I’ve had alot of fun with all the guilds of GH. Some of you are tough cookies

But to be honest I can’t complain about the guilds of UW either. Especially SLAY, hats off lads, had some epic fights while I was commanding against you lot.

Best way to learn how to fight is to practice GvG. I remember my first GvG experience was vs TUP with my 9 man PvX guild group. Thanks Piker of XxX for the duel, I never fought a perplexity engi before and you were tough and nice to fight.

Looking for more duels if you fancy whisper me when I’m on before 8pm CEST. Also I’ll try to add my stream rec of SM fight last night but shortly after we cleared lord’s my mouse died and I walked gloriously into a group of 10 enemies unable to do anything about it :P

TEO wins some, loses some. It’s a vid compilation of your successes. We don’t seem to be particularly ready for it in these fights though. When I was raiding/leading all I noticed was xxx avoiding us mostly tbh. I tried to get you a few times, but it resulted in chases across the map :x Some other cases where we were actually fighting other UW and xxx came in from a flank (granted, not depicted here). But w/e, its open wvw/open roam, good job on showing that we still need to pay attention and improve, something I’ve hammering on for the past weeks :p

Nice small fight near our crag with a 3 guys from RoF, 2 from TaG for sure and some other RoF guy came in mid way but not sure on his tag.

That asura TaG mesmer of yours is soo kitten hard to kill and saved the other TaG guy a bunch of times was really cool stuff to fight (I don’t ever want to bump into you solo tho :P)

Still getting used to the necro and changed my keybinds 15 mins ago so screwed up my fears repeatedly but meh I’m bad luckily the GH people that were there did all the real fighting and I just tossed out odd condition :P

Was a nice fight indeed. Too bad there were so many of you around, each time it looked like I could win the 1 vs 2 a 3rd showed up.

To be fair we thought of a way to outplay [FRS] with 5 people and the result was the supplytrapping. I think you have to agree that it was pretty effective. “Sadly” it ended in forming a troll guild but we had lots of fun doing it.

On a serious note i wish good luck to all “older” members of [FRS] and hope you have fun as well.

p.s. No offense in this post as i really like to fight [FRS] in any way that is there (no siegewars though).

having played along side DEX for since launch, FRS & DEX had a nasty divorce but some respect remains . personal opinion only.

So after a long night the last remaining dozen of us went to eb, looking for some nice fights. We were hoping for love, peace and a decently sized zerg like the nights before. Oh, how wrong we were.

A 50/60 man blob roaming around sm, tightly packed and following a pro guild! I couldn’t believe my eyes – some imposters stole the XxX tag and made a mockery out of everything the guild stands for. One of these scoundrels dared to taunt us afterwards with vile whispers.

Oh, how i miss abbadons! At least they were proud of their zerging and had manners! However i wish you the best of luck and godspeed in bringing these people to justice before any serious harm comes to this guilds reputation!

Edit: Good luck and a lot of fun to Rof in the future. You played it smart this week and were good opponents. Particularly TAG were outstanding. I don’t know of many guilds that had such great moral and would have continued fighting for like this. You are a true asset to your server!
