You talked about EB fighting the Grub tonight, as in you can anticipate that we would, as in we do it frequently. Saying that is commonly used as an insult towards people who don’t know much about WvW since it ties up resources for no gain.

We can scour our memory in an attempt to explain exactly how that fight went down, but truth be told I don’t think anyone of us would be very accurate. I don’t remember the fight going down that way. There were definitely three of you, so we might be talking about different fights entirely.

Honestly we do go after the grub when we’re bored but not for the reason you may think. We try to drag it to Valley’s front gate, then we ring the door bell and run.

You would be correct that the misses doesn’t PvP much (she is, however, almost 400 in almost every crafting discipline. Congrats to her, I just don’t have the patience to get through all that). She does however make the most amazing sounds when she is in WvW, so it’s totally worth having here run along.
Kardiamond, even though you never ran with me in the past, you are better than you give yourself credit for.

The comments about EBay tower hugging ar in direct response to the nonsense your trolls post. You don’t like it, control your trolls. Each server has groups of larger numbers that just seem glues to the interior of the towers, this is not a phenomenon strictly confined to AR or BP.

@Archer … you are clearly not the biggest troll on your server anymore, please work harder.

Wait until you’ve knocked down an enemy wall and coaxed the grub inside. It’s even better when they get randoms who heal up the wall and lock it inside on accident.

On a side note, have really enjoyed fighting in EBay BL with our small skirmish team during late NA Prime this last week or so.

This. Try pulling this off in our BL and see how long you last. There’s a reason our BL keeps are rarely flipped during the primetime hours, and at all. Also, Eternal is not a place to brag about, as strategically in the long run it provides nowhere near the amount of points you can get for ruling borderlands just due to how many people are on there at a given time. Whereas borderlands oftentimes are left alone by their servers, making them easy prey. There’s a reason why we’re able to get massive amounts of points every week, and protip, it ain’t through Eternal.

The difference between ebay tower huggers and y’alls is simple.

Ours get yelled at and ridiculed in chat. I come by huggers I verbally abuse them then kill the AR sitting there.

Of course everyone zergs and of course everyone has tower hugged.
ALS guild has done it. WFD, BURN, BS all do it. GH, PK, FTF all do it. And most especially, non-coordinated groups of mixed up guilds (aka Pugs) do it all the time because well….pugs. And while some guilds might do it more than others, that argument is played out and you can’t really measure it unless you follow them/stalk them 24/7. Time to move on folks.

What I can praise BP and AR for is that throughout all of weeks together they’ve come out pretty consistently. I remember when Ebay used to be known as the server that only cared about smashing on reset night/weekend and then we’d fall off the rest of the week cause of motivation. These matchups have really been weeklong matches that have helped Ebay become even more coordinated. BP’s old late night pushes and Kalkz Golem marathons forced us to create a dedicated NITE crew that organized the people that played at that time. Too bad Kalkz stopped that :[

While BP hasn’t gotten much better overall at open field, they are working on it and their progress can be seen in Walabone’s efforts to create zerg busting groups and post videos. BP has been using a lot more portal bombs lately and with the numbers they can put up, it’s a pretty dangerous combination. There are supposed to be a couple GvG’s going on this week with BP and hopefully some small man action if we can get people to show up from all 3 servers.

AR is great cause they always provide that roaming and small man element so many people love. AR always proclaims they are a pug server and that has been pretty true throughout the weeks outside of ALS. I love when AR pushes into our home bl because they’d usually come back for more. And who can forget AR’s best contribution in CHAR?

but now, you guys are resorting to placing people in our server to use up supplies on BS upgrades to keeps. pretty obvious when everyone sees it happen at key moments.

keep up the honorable fight. you’ll need those tactics in the next tier…. if you ever get there.

Nah I am pretty bunker, that started at the sentry post. I don’t mind keeping large groups busy for a bit, buys time, delays camps getting capped etc. I am a little ambitious a large part of the time.

I came to AR the same week this match up started back in march, and i think our main problem is that we do not have one decent WvW guild, and I’m not referring to size i am referring to coordination, synergy etc. The power of the pug is the real driving force of AR.

If a thief is juming in the middle of your zerg you can guarantee he’s not going to kill you…….furthermore you have pretty much no chance to kill him unless he decides to let it happen.

Worry not, you didn’t miss much beyond the usual (Rekz was very gracious in buying us round after round of dirt naps … I’d imagine their wallets would be empty if not for all the bags we reimbursed them with hehehe. I think we went ~10 rounds, and from what I could see got a grand total of 1 confirmed kill in the final round.

We’ve got a lot to work on, but I think with patience and practice we may one day get there. Certainly with Tira’s input, and many other of EBay’s friendlies, it’s been a huge help

gj manning up tonight, soul/war/wfd. finally got that gvg in after all these weeks. enjoyed watching the other gvgs after us too. too bad AR didn’t have any guilds that could show.
