However it’ll take 21 weeks if CD’s score stays static for EB to catch up and at least 3 more weeks this good for SoS to go to T3 (with no promises we won’t come right back) if SBI continues to take a breather (and we know they won’t).

Help us recruit some NA primetime guilds so you can be rid of us forever!

If scores stayed static, they would get nowhere. The scoring system measures based on expected performance, so if it’s 300k vs 200k vs 100k for 8 weeks it wouldn’t change at all. That’s why tiers rarely change, because it requires a huge shift for anything to happen.

Pinko, I’m aware of that but assuming that CD will lose a few points next week when SBI stops playing with PvE shiny stuff; they will probably experience little volatility over the next several weeks.
Some things have been said about CD in a negative light; but they are stable and somewhat consistent in their coverage and performance. Short of another exodus or changes in how their WvW community operates; it’s safe to assume that they will stay where they are at until either we leave, or EB somehow accelerates their gain and replaces them.

Even when Maguuma goes up a tier we aren’t free of them.

All three are PvE heavy servers, one of the reasons this match is so fun.

Please refrain from considering any comments regarding our current score or population as an “excuse”. These are the points and the players we have this week, period. We’ve had more points and more players in previous weeks but this is what we have now. It might stay this way, it might not. I’m working under the assumption that this is the new normal for us.

Our shortfall in the points this week can be attributed to one thing and one thing only, we haven’t performed as well as we should have. Maybe we lost some players/guilds, maybe pve is awesome all of the sudden, maybe everyone’s at the windmill waiting for duels. Bottom line is that we didn’t get it done this week, nothing more.

You do realise that even is past weeks when SBI wasn’t absent, CD has been gaming rating points right? Even in the past 2 weeks when CD has come 3rd we’ve gained points.

I spent two hours yesterday upgrading and seiging up Ogre Watch to get it ready for SoS, but they spend that much amount of time trolling Durios/Brovost. When they finally came I had to go to sleep, I was a sad puppy.

It’s also worth noting that how our enemies play directly affects how we play. In previous weeks, a lot of fighting was done over CD’s holdings; for instance both SoS and SBI would roll through AP / Mendons / OW constantly. In this week, a lot of focus is being put on Durios, QL, and Bravost, and this is just in EB (which keeps us out of SM). We’ve been seeing a lot more pressure on our BL as well.

I personally enjoy it more this way because it teaches us more as players and as a community, and it’s more fun because there’s a lot more bags to loot. That said, we have work to do, and we know it.

Colder THan You is Finale Reaper’s other account, and he transferred to sbi when he got bored of trolling us (siege-capping, calling us communists, etc…) . if anybody from sbi wants to party with me and tell me where he is, i’d be glad to kill him. I’ve already done so twice today.

Same person. He got his commander tag at 700 achievement. I can tell you this. He left SOS on his own mostly because 90 percent of us have him blocked and he can’t troll anymore. So don’t bring up stupid stuff like so and so is spy from sos etc… Even when he was in SOS, he did exactly the same thing.
Despite countless report from us, he is still not banned from GW2, and those who ever heard him talk, you know he should be banned.

I think I know who you are talking about and he was trolling us a lot and we were glad when he left. (SBI, right?)

I don’t know who he might be feeding information to, but I can assure you it’s not one of guilds in the formal SoS WvW community as we have no patience for that kind of stuff and would most likely put him on ignore.

As for trolling, we have had our fair share of trolls (we had one guy go all out for weeks around Christmas time) and it’s something we all have to live with.

also, could somebody from kome contact me? there’s a speed hacker, and i’m sure your guild doesn’t condone this.

I’m glad you guys gave me the quick response. It’ seems he is making us hating SoS more by bringing our guys to SoS zerg and make comparison about SBI and SoS. Will be gladly inform our guys about it to avoid conflict among servers.

Also, I don’t remember offhand what his guild is, but the other night he was running by SoS’ keep in EB and had a bunch of SoS guys with him running around with him and not attacking him, also in the same guild. I’m not going to call him a spy, because no one probably listens to him anyway, but it would be awesome if we could coordinate with some SoS people to get him killed when/if we see him out and about. Thanks.

If you make the game about that it just feeds him. Ignore him completely & ask every1 in the map to ignore him especially after he wipes your militia on purpose. Right click his name and report to get his account name. Use your forums to get everyone to block him in game using the account name. have fun!

It makes me happy knowing that he gets repeatedly obliterated, though, so in some sense I’m okay with that. :P

Your best bet is to tell the folks on your server to block and report him/her. That commander created a lot of trouble on sos. Dont feed the troll!

With DB out of T3 and into T2 YB will do alot better.
Unless there is a major shift in guilds for T4-T3 nobody will really go up or down.
In other news, Rising you folks doing ok in SBI?

We really like the ferocity of small group battles both CD and SBI brings and we hope that all the servers can recover from their respective server dramas.

In any case, lets continue fighting the great battles.

We had a troll a few months ago who cost us a garrison when the swords came up he said it was just 3 guys without siege. It was actually a zerg with multiple rams.

These things suck, but you can’t stop people from being jerks.

ColderThanYou = Finale Reaper. Same guy. He was forced to rename his account due to a not so nice word the started with A in his old account name.

He is a definite troll and should be blocked & ignored.

Even most of our “pugs” blocked him eventually, he’s extremely bad. Like the above posters said, he had his commander tag at 700 achievement points and didn’t know that you couldn’t buy SM Waypoint upgrade until you had the other upgrades. He kept trolling the chat with stupid stuff and it was painful.

I distinctively recall he threw down 8 golems in lowlands our first reset day in the first week against CD/SBI and burned our 600-odd supply with 2 golems disappearing due to not finishing. He did this again inside SM soon after.

Well, if you look at what is happening, SoS is taking turns at wiping CD & SBI. Even for the BLs. When they are done wth one of us, they move to another. So it is not that they are picking on SBI, not at all

I’m seeing a direct correlation between SBI getting a new addition to their ranks and their lack of performance lately.

There was a period of time when we actually decided to lose the entire EB so that the 20+ ACs in Lowlands would be destroyed. Just a friendly suggestion

I understand the need for caution when banning accounts but I really don’t understand why Anet cannot ban someone when its this obvious. And after sooooo many reports.

There are two reasons, which I think are obvious to anyone who is a hardcore WvW in this match-up and to bring them up would start a pointless flame war. But it’s not CD. Has nothing to with CD. Everything to do with SBI and SoS.

Anyway how much more people on wvw has always CD and SoS than SBI? I really want to know on SBI numbers of wvw players , we always get outnumbered to fast.

It’s usually not that bad during NA hours, but I’ve seen a lot of commanders who won’t detag and I’ve never seen before this past week. I’m not really sure why we’ve seen outmanned so many times this week, but in one sense I’m a little concerned and in another sense I figure it’s just typical deviation from the norm for our server. I wouldn’t worry terribly, just keep fighting the good fight.
