I never liked the T1 matchups I have been a part of here and on IOJ. The skill lag is terrible and while fun always having an enemy on the map it also gets frustrating when only the 1 button works. So really for me there were no T1 dreams.

I know there are no tiers anymore but the WvW population differences between the former tiers are still there.

Hell, BT practically taught us how to fight open field, at least for a lot of us. Even RET was a bit of a challenge for awhile, but I barely see them anymore.

I’ve gotta say, I wasn’t originally impressed by FIRE from DB, but they’re getting a lot better, though it’s hard to tell when they run with 40+ others. Their movement is really good, and they have good recovery. TG, I haven’t seen you all week, PYRO misses you.

Also, where’s Agg this week? I was looking forward to some rematches.

Oh well, pretty good week all in all. I still miss BT/AoN/RET from FA. The remaining guilds aren’t kitten or anything, but they just don’t really stand out to me anymore.

Eh, not a fan of the balling up and stacking. I agree it can be effective in certain situations, but it’s not why I log into WvW, and certainly not the type of gameplay I find fun. I rather let people contribute on their own accord rather than micro manage everything they do. I find I end up in even more exciting and intense fights that way, but that’s just me.

Might stacking is silly and not nearly as good as people make it out to be. It gives your opponent an opening to push you, run away until you lose your stacks, or gain a terrain advantage. Also blows your blast finishers early, which have some other important uses early in the fight.

RET remains alive but rebuilding from some past hard knocks. However, I have to agree with the sentiment that we haven’t seen much emphasis on tightly coordinated open field fighting on FA’s side as of late. That remains RET’s focus, and I hope to see us and FA improve over time. I don’t recall RET facing PYRO in force, although we did square off against some other Mag guilds. I can’t say that we left any lasting impression though.

Though I think FA and Mag respectively wish for a change-up in the next match-up, I hope to see you all someday again on the battlefield.

Well I can’t speak for the rest of FA, but we enjoyed ourselves this week. Sad to see FARM leaving for Eu T9. Atleast AGG won’t be the 2nd best guild on DB now that they are gone.

Haven’t been roaming much these last few weeks, had a few good fights. [Fire]bad had to keep bringing more people each time to fight us.
