This was happening all night last night. I stayed up till 3am and cart way inside towers were able to be targeted. Anet really needs to step up because it severely and seriously penalizes the defenders

ISn’t this at the end of EU time? A 480 tick was the higest I saw, Good JOb SoR. With that said I think this proves that SoR has the stronger EU since Iron usally logs off around 30 minutes to a hour after this was put up there? Here is to hoping our NA and SEA can make up the diffrence.

That EB zerg may have taken towers by PvD but we wiped the IRON and pugs with a good amount of Choo in tow 3 times. Might I jog your memory 5 minutes ago QL ;-) So your right we PvD becuase no one came to fight. If SoR got the 460 – 480 PPT by PvD so be it what they got is still legit. (The thing is, these things are noted and actions are being done against them. Meaning anet does not approve. You even said it yourself. People are being banned for it. Anet is making fixes to it. Read the patch notes. These incidents are becoming less common as anet is continually making changes to fix these exploits. Despite them being minor tweaks, they are still acting on it. What have they done to fix eyefinity in the last 3 months? Nothing.

And for your whole “oh they removed your ss, it must be that they are hiding it as it is an exploit thing.” Do you even read the forum code of conducts? I’ll add this little quote taken directly from the code of conducts “Do not engage in personal attacks against forum members or in character assassination. Posts that attack another member, that single out a player for ridicule, or that accuse someone of inappropriate in-game actions will be removed without notice.” This means, any post in regards to the oh look so and so is doing this will be removed. Simple as that.)

Citing one rule and ignoreing the rules to not post exploits doesn’t support your case. The issue is not really with eyefinity your blaming the wrong person or tool in this istance. The issue is that Ac’s are being exploited by using this software. But the use of the software is not the issue. The issue is AC’s have no Line of sight restrictions. By adding a LoS to Ac’s it would remove the issue and still allow players like my self that use eyefinity and do not exploit it to contunie to use it.

Also you have to realize that coding in a game is not as easy as 123. My time going to the Art Institute getting my bachalors in Culinary Arts I had the enjoyment of meeting people doing game art and desing where they program. Some times easy fixes cause more issue so they try to fix things so nothing is affected. Also you will know if you have paid attention to how arena nets does things they do not annouce a change unless theya re sure it will work by X standards. Just becuase they haven’t annouced they are patching it doesn’t mean they are not working on fixing it.

To sit here and say it is ok for this to happen or support or defend it is silly, the irony of this is I have seen more SoR in support of the use of eyefinity than against it yet JQ and BG members are speaking out against this and have specificly stated that they do not condone it. Sure there are a few SoR members that dis like it and feel it is wrong to use it, but more support it than not. Maybe it is becuase they are reaping thebenifits of it who knows. Although the most amusing thing is that FEAR commander has yet to come on and defend his position on it, Usally most people knowingly doing something wrong will not stand up and defend their position.

Well it is what it is, If this is going to be the new meta then arena net needs to

• allow players to extend their zoom range
• remove Trebs/ catas/ balistas/ and golems from the game

At this point all you need is a 40 man zerg and the ability to zoom out further and destory any siege on the other side and PvD the way to Victory.

And many many thanks to all the supportive BG players who helped me command this morning! Couldn’t have done it without you! And to the SoR zerg we smashed into not even 10 minutes ago, it was a pleasure! Thanks for the experience!

People forget that yesterday July 1st was a Stat Holiday in Canada so EU time had some extra people. We’re going to see the same at the end of the week with July 4th holidays in the US. Unfortunately, the PPT you see now in EU time will be norm.

This is what happens when a server panics after getting destroyed by RG and finishing last after wining for weeks. [KISS], [SONG] and whomever else they recruited will make things difficult in EU time with their PVDooring now with full map zergs.

Keep fighting JQ and BG! Go after those camps and slap those yaks. Who knows, you might be able to divide up the SOR map blobs and come up with some surprising victories!

SoR’s and their Eyefinity shenanigans are 2legit2quit.

As abusive it is for anyone to do that, it’s pretty much ANet’s fault for firstly making AC’s behave like some orbital cannon you can summon anywhere, and obviously not taking enough initiative against Eyefinity and zoomhacks.

So this means people should openly take advatage of it? I am not judging anyone, But I use Eyefinity on my computer, and I have the ability to use it, I don’t use it becuase it is poor sportsmen like conduct. Not only that I don’t want to be knowing as the commander that has to exploit to win.

For anyone ( not the person I am qouting) to use the excuse it is in the game and arena net isn’t doing anything about it, is just a poor player anyhow. True competative players that care about the fairness and equality in a competative section of a game will not resort to Glitches/ exploits or hacks to accomblish victories.

Nicely put UnrepentantProcrastinator lets hope that Arena Net does something to fix it or adds some sort of LoS to the Ac’s ( which will stop it and allow players like my self to contunie to use eyefinity )

JQ has potential to tick 400 ppt in SEA timezone. Instead, they focus all their forces to reset SoR T3 keeps, EB towers and tie themselves into 20 min meaningless fights over supply camps while ignoring anything BG and BG gladly joins them. This creates very good fights and gives BG free ppt that doesnt reflect their coverage in that timezone, while causing illusion of double team. In reality it is just BG making use of poor JQ tactics/JQ fighting for fun instead of ppt. Its your choice and valid tactic, but you cant really cry about your low ppt then.

Yeah because those 20-30 JQ zergs should really focus on hitting 100 man BG zergs so SoR can hold easily. I think many small JQ zergs resort to resetting towers and camps because of the sheer blobs we constantly encounter when fighting SoR/BG as it is. Theres alot of hate here, but we all know when fighting equal numbers, JQ usually wrecks their opponents. If you don’t believe me message me in game, [vH] is always up for equal numbers GvG

Just for the sake of clarification, BG’s average PPT yesterday was 283, with one single tick north of 400 at about 11:00am server time.

I’m seriously confused by what you mean lol. We have the potential to tick 400 sure, that would also require BG to never hit us and we PvDoor everything SoR has… Last I checked no one likes to be Pvdoored. We don’t cry about low ppt because when we have a force on NA/SEA/Little Oceanic we always do the best we can and it shows in ppt 9/10. I love our SEA because they get there fights in while helping our NA by breaking WP’s. Thanks for trying to raise a argument against our SEA….keep it classy and keep the fights going!

Are you serious? We all know HB and RK are part time guilds. They aren’t “burnt out”, they just don’t play as much as you.

Now SoR war council or what ever you call your selves there can not stop KISS from transfering, although common practice of human pysc tells us that when someone is not wanted they generally wont go.

So Instead of SoR saying we would love to have you BUT Jq doesn’t even have a EU presence, I think you would fit in good there and get amazing fights to boot. Instead they activly tried to recuirt them and then turn to BG and tell us that we should give JQ some of our guilds becuase we are Blackhole gate or what ever silly name has been derived.

Although in SoR defense from the sounds of it KISS just wanted to be part of a winning server and ban wagoned over to SoR. Was it becuase SoR had the more prodominate EU presence who knows but out of the three servers

• SoR has the most numbers in EU
• BG has HB and RK when they log on ( HB and RK you guys do work hat tips ) and Merc groups when they pull overtime
• JQ has no EU presence and if there is any JQ on in that time it is their SEA pulling OT.

I don’t even agree with Choco Puddin going for KISS although I can’t blame him, just like I can’t BlAME SOR for doing it. Honestly I don’t think anyone blames SoR for further strengthening their strong time coverage. People just don’t understand why SoR came off like the savior of fairness for equal fights then did this.

tbh its prob the same reason ALot of SEA guilds have joined BG or JQ in the pass. They didnt wanna feel like they had to carry the load and wanted ppl to play with. If i am remembering correctly WHen merc joined bg, they said the reason they choose them over sor or others was it gave them the best shot at taking down jq and also cause they wouldnt need to carry the load, because they would have other guild in that time slot

Meh everyone has a right to speak their mind IMO, as long as it’s as respectful as possible. This is competition after all and emotions can run high and personalities can reach hulk-like proportions, video game or not. I know what Kaimick was getting at. I made a similar statement at the end of last week’s match thread. As long as I don’t have to read anymore lectures from certain SoR forum goers about pushing potential transfers to JQ for the greater good then I’m cool.

Whether it’s by overtime play or different tz guilds, coverage is coverage. With BGs massive population combined with their regular overtime play, they have the best coverage of the tier without question. And it’s undeniably powerful.

Well things were going ok earlier. I took a nap and came back to this. Oh well.

Any one of these servers will take advantage of an opportunity to accumulate PPT if given the chance. BG gave SoR the chance today and SoR has taken it. Simple as that.

Yes indeed, very powerful. The fierce tenacity of BG players is well documented on this forum and the countless times they’ve made late week pushes is a testament to their never give up attitude. Hello Aneirin,

BG is now the only server in tier 1 that can muster their vaguard oceanic and sea forces to hit EU timing. BG server leaders have created the structure to switch OCN/SEA forces to EU on a short notice. Most of the forces in JQ and SOR are unable to do that. Prior to the arrival of IRON, WM was dominating EU time zone for almost 2 weeks straight. This might not seem like much but to play from 12am to 6am consistently requires a whole different level of discipline from the organized guilds.

SG ran into KISS today multiple multiple times in EB, was fun. Pity we are different time zones so we won’t meet like that to often.

It also requires a lot of young players in school or the jobless. No adult player with a family or job could afford to do that.

BG in general does seem like a younger population. It must be nice to have the flexibility to play whenever and for as long as you want. Oh how I miss having no responsibility sometimes.

If by conspiracy you mean actual statements by Players of SoR then yes that is right. It is funny how some players will turn a positive statement into a negative one.

Simply put I don’t blame SoR for taking KISS and not passing them on. ( qoute that next time ) Although with what was previously stated it makes people wonder the true intentions. Not that I blame SoR for it at all. I was meerly explainign why people were commenting on it. Lets try to at least cite the full statement.

In all fairness lets here from the Community heads of SoR in weather they suggested JQ for a better fit. From all the statements that were made ( speculations on my part ) I am thinking it was never adressed. Which is fine, just don’t chastise people when the question past statements made by SoR members that reflect an opposite view point in which was taken with KISS, I think people have every right to question it LOL.
