First fight this matchup and it was against another guild from the german server, so good impressions for me so far Was very efficiently knocked off a cliff right as I got downed too, that was some excellent timing, faster than a stomp

If we’re not fighting servers 5-6 ranks below us we’re fighting servers 9 ranks above us.. GG A-net oh well at least we get some fights here (talking about gandara) the giant 80+ DL blob on rof border sees our 15 man guild group and instantly stop sieging to chase us half way round the map to which we cant even use any skills to get swiftness or stealth.. so much skill lag hope to avoid the german skill 1 spamming zerg and hopefully get some good fights with Gandara like last time

Supply trap at Cragtop just now. Stopped ’em cold. Seriously, they stopped in their tracks when they realized that their attack just failed. I can just imagine what was going on in their TS channels.

Dat lag. Every fight so far running with 20 or less guild group = spam utility skill, it not going off, being dead the next second. I actually wouldn’t mind being steam rolled if i could get a skill or two off when they’re near :s.

Also, WHAT’S UP ANET? It’s either vabbi/fow or servers 2+ tiers above us, if the balance issues weren’t enough what about the fact we’re actually losing players because of our constant screwy matchups. We’ve only had 1 legitimate match since the new system has been put in place. It’s sad :c

Anet don’t like RoF they do everything they can to make us the third t9 server and at the rate we’re losing players cause of this kitten matchups it seems like its working..

Gandara comes off as a huge blob to us when our main guilds barely pull 20 on reset now. We had 3 main guilds in bl and were still outmanned :S

Thats what you said last time and I still have my collection of gandara pictures from our last encounter. For Rof 40+ groups are blobs and thats basically all I see besides from TDA during the week.

Dius Ran 17 guildies, at peak tonight, we had like 5 pugs at times or when we fought DL in garrison. I’ll admit, YaK got involved sometimes but when we have Two guild groups (TaG and NaZ which equalled about 15-16 each?) bearing down on us, only so much we can do solo.

On that note; [NaZ] had a nice spike

I hope in the week DL don’t keep running away when we have even numbers, just to come back with the 50-60 people to run over 15 of us

This was a very strange night. Really don’t know how to describe it, but things were … very different. We started on Drakkar BL, where after the first few fights we seemed to outnumber every group we met. Then we tried some other borderlands and we mostly encountered rather big groups. Not sure if I enjoyed myself.

We didn’t do much sieging tonight. However, if you are a baaaad thief who’s part of the giant blob chasing us across the map, or standing on the wall defending a tower that we’ve already capped by porting to the lord’s room, we will most certainly find a use for all those blueprints we keep getting.

Had some good fun in GBL today, I came online a bit late due cereal box issues so missed the most blobbiest part methinks. Didn’t experience any skill lag either! I was delighted to bump into small/medium/HUGE guild groups and had nice time trolling around with 3 other JDGEs :> Thanksu TaG for the dances by ruins, DSS? and ROSE for the silly fights between Bay and Garri.

I feel a bit dirty… TDA blobbed today.

Anyway.. Nice to see some new faces, i hope we get some good fights once the reset and weekend madness wears off.

I remember the last time I blobbed with TDA we had like 3 guys and we blobbed over the map in a pink and bana storm of 3 man blobbiness.

Too bad you did not came 60 seconds later. Then you would need to break gates.

And it was fun watching Gandara and Drakkar groups. Standing at Greenlake at Drakkars BL. Watching big groups from both servers just passing tower. Never attacked, always passed it. One you attacked to destroy our trebs.

Pretty much that, we had agreed with the other guilds to turn on commander tags so we could see where everybody was, only suddenly found ours to be the only one on and a sizable following with us. We would have already been too big with just TDA, but ah well, there were three gandara groups on the BL and half the time if some attack was called out all three would converge on that point even if somebody called dibs.

The night started off with some fun fights, but after that our group got bigger and the enemy groups got smaller, apart from one large group at the south of hills at some point. After a while we decided to move borderlands and were outblobbed, so you can feel happy about that

And wouldn’t that be briar, not lake? Otherwise, what were trebs doing in lake? :P And I think green’s spawn was near briar. There was a constant stream of attacks on both hills and bay that night, requiring constant running about in every direction, was at least action packed. Just a shame our larger groups were on the wrong BL really it seemed.

And what guild was it that wrecked us right at the beginning of reset (around 21:00 CET I’d say) around the NW camp on that cliff where the minotaurs roam? I didn’t catch your tag and we want more of those fights pretty please

If they win, they deserve it, don’t think there are any issues there :P

I think there’s a good chance this match-up will provide a bit of fun for those not obsessed with points For one, Drakkar and RoF both have way more guild groups than RS, which is a great sign already.

Quite a few Gandarians are part of a cross server guild called Tyrian Dueling Society [TDS], there’s lots of people from AG, FSP, Piken and RS in there. I’m one of the officers there so holla if you want to get invited in, makes arranging duels a lot easier. Just represent it when you are up for duels :>

Is there any point to playing WvW at all? Or is it now just blobs rolling over the maps and then kiss and make up while we all go hang out around the windmill?

C’mon Devon, give up a match up we can actually play. RoF is getting sick of this kitten and players are leaving the server because of it.

Yes dear Heff der Friedhoefe, dueling and GvsG is now the only option how to have fun in WvW.
Players are just using small part of game because rest is pointless. It does not matter if you win or loose. Because you cannot change RNG or reroll if you have bad number.

So we at least are trying to have some fun if you dont have 30 guildies with you.

If you wait long enough, gates will go down one way or another! All those fancy siege machines are way too complicated to use. Who has time to study when they could bash in skulls with a large stick!
