Well tbh, we could not even worry about hills since our focus for the evening was only Garrison. The most we did was make sure we had havoc squads going for the yaks constantly and occasionally zerging a camp. We knew when we saw who were up against that it would be a waste of time to even try and hold a wooden Hills and Bay. We took Hills back pretty quickly once we decided to actually go for it, which I believe was the third attempt of us rolling up on the NW gate, though I did notice you guys fighting pretty hard to keep DB out of the keep while we were busy upgrading camps and sieging up our towers. Dragonbrand did vanish for some reason though, which gave us the window we needed to go for it. Don’t matter how many arrow carts you stack behind a gate if we roll up on it with 1 Omega Golem :P
stop trying to get into the ruins tower, DB – also if you’re gonna jump down to try to 2v1 me while i’m climbing, at least put up a fight. and to the 3 who were intelligent enough to try to fight me up top… you should be very embarrassed.

rB runs between 35 to 45. To clear up the blood pact talk. Like 5 of them moved to SoR. rB got like 5 or so of them. The rest of blood pact is playing some other lame game.

Eyan and a few others decided they wanted to fight in T1 so they wouldn’t get matched up against a Borlis Pass or mags :P . Honestly the active roster of Blood Pact is 100% different than what is was 4-5 months ago when we came to Db. Mostly just attrition from the game. Also, as Gellor said, most of them went to [another game], and a lot of the people who left gw2 are back with their friends in BP in that game.

To discount any improvement on the part of BP is ignorant, and I know you’re better than that Bolevine. DB is an amazing guild and a welcome addition to the Pass, but recent success is equally attributable to the fact that we have a great, growing community, and to improvements implemented across the board in terms of organization and group tactics.
Am I suggesting we stand even a candle flame’s chance in a hurricane of winning this match? Of course not. Coverage will likely dictate otherwise. We will have a good time though, which is all we can ask for. First 13 hours down, and many to go. Continued luck everyone

It’s like this. Before we left borlis, burn and goat were 2 of the more prominent and active WvW guilds. Zara, after riding cattails for months, decided to be a burn member after bouncing from a couple of other guilds and servers. After about 3-4 months of carrying borlis, burn and goat got tired of being 2 of the 3 guilds that actually defended home map. We started becoming vocal on a lack of support and she didn’t like truth, so she got kitten ed off at everyone from said guilds, ESP. Me and pestilence. Goat and burn decided to leave and she got all kitten ed off. She can’t just let it go. Just that simple.
Zara, burn leaving borlis, in all honesty, wasn’t a good thing for borlis. If just a few things would have changed, this is a moot discussion, but unfortunately, they didn’t. Plea Zara, pick up the pieces of your miserable existence, build a bridge, crawl over it and move on.
Seems to me that Borlis is doing just fine…

Its actually not that they left us. Funilly enough, after they left we got alot better and started a meteoric rise from the top of Tier 6 to our present position, I would say (hard to tell, thanks to new glicko) at the top of tier 4. BURN leaving cleared a ton of dead weight off Borlis and we became all the better for it.
No, what cheesed us off was HOW they left, not that they did it. The BURN/GOAT guild leaders made a ton of sanctimonious posts on our forum about how terrible we were, how they carried the server, and so on. Then, after they left, they had the balls to come back to our forums to offer “advice” on how we could be made “better”, because you know, even though they left they still “cared about us”.
Needless to say, the reaction they got was probably about the same as the reaction someone yelling “bomb” on an airplane would get.
Had nothing to do with the abuse we got either… or the EGO’s on the server..

Oh I’m soo excited – going to be lots of good fights this week (if the guilds we are facing ever break off and do their own things – DAT ZERG)
I reinstalled GW2 and it’s still telling me that my archive is corrupt, so no. I’m throwing my computer out the window.
Try downloading and using Power Defragmenter GUI. You can defrag DAT files with it, as well as folders, disks, ect. Sometimes, simply copying or moving the DAT file to another location helps repair the file structure/integrity.
At least you’re not having DNS and speed issues with your ISP like I am at present. Two minutes into reset and my connection decided to take an extended vacation. Equally frustrating is that after 30+ years in IT infrastructure management, I call in to tech support and speak to someone that wasn’t even born by the time I got my degrees, only to have them ask me if I reset the router. I’m stuck with crappy internet until Monday, so apparently no one works weekends around here. :/
