Oh there is a natural 2v1 going on. I wouldn’t call this a bad thing seeing as how I’m enjoying seeing JQ manage what they’re doing- even in NA. By natural 2v1, I mean that we have 2 servers here who need to beat BG. SoR because they are SoR and JQ because they desire 1st and they are rejuvenated from their lower tier journey. Why would you not focus on Blackgate if you were either enemy server?

Not to mention that SoR really seems to be pushing out the forces this week. Training must be over, I suppose. Maybe our server will make a harder push tomorrow.

That’s fine though. The same thing happens every time JQQ comes back up to T1 from being punked down to T2. They come up, fired up, focus on BG with SOR for a few weeks and BG drops in rankings. Eventually JQQ grows a pair and attacks SOR only to tumble ever downward back into T2 because without the SOR team up they can’t hack it in T1. This has gone on forever now and has been happening as long as the Henge of Denravi days.

Say what you will about TC and DB, at least they played to win.

He wasn’t trolling, we gained Zombieland from GoM (you can look them up, they actually exist xD) but we did lose two decent sized, fairly “hardcore” guilds in WARD and ACO. so in the end, our overall WvW population is virtually unchanged.

I’m really not sure what’s up with BG this week. I’m sure that the being focused fairly heavily by both servers in several time zones is not helping, but the BG i know would never drop down to 50 PPT during NA prime regardless. I’ve heard rumours of some internal drama, I don’t really want to know what’s going on, that’s for you guys to sort out, but I certainly hope things go back to normal soon.

Yeah, Rhaegus was right. I confused [WvW] for the [VwV] guild.

As for whoever just mentioned not knowing what’s going on with Blackgate, it definitely has to do with our things getting upgraded by the enemy, waypointed, and defended by queue-sized forces. We shouldn’t have lost them in the first place, but yeah. Morale is down and we obviously don’t have our usual numbers. The internal drama comment is not true.

No “breaks” have been officially announced, but I think a lot of people are taking one anyway.

Naw, no drama at all don’t even try to start them rumours up.

What you saw on Sunday night flowing onto Monday morning/night is 6 weeks of winning vs 3 weeks of pvdoor morale raising vs 3 weeks of being smashed.

BG is fatigued + new PvE event a lot of guilds/players are probably still farming Cursed shore / frostgorge. I expect this will turn around eventually but either way, WvW is won by morale not numbers, as much as people would have you believe (at least T1 is anyway).

Sunday to Tuesday has been pretty weak for us lately. No internal issues that I’m aware of. Just people not showing up. Worn out, farming champs, new content… Who knows. No biggy though. The cycle is always turning.

Gotta take a break once in awhile when everyone guns for you (Not a complaint, cause its fun =) However sometimes a break to PVE stuff is needed IMO, way I see it anyway

We legitimately tried to 2v1 SoR when we got on the map, but after growing tired of RISE and ESOL trying to play in our backfield, we just decided to kick BG off the map for four hours.

I’ll be honest with you, I do wish the trolls or naysayers would keep the opinions to themselves.

Also, the Cursed Shore champ farms are crazy now, I think all 3 servers have lost PvX folks to the 10-20g/hr loot runs. However I wouldn’t blame them, WvW is for masochists. With the upgrades, siege, etc I think we lose more money in the long run.
