I dont think anyone can say they are taking a break … every server has taken a hit with these super lucrative farm spots (especially with the wvw like zergs in Cursed Shore). Just got back into wvw for the first time since the patch and was pleasantly surprised how close this was!

on the side, in a sense, is it weird i think that WvW reward is not over the top like it can be in PvE at times (with regards to CS/FG farm or gauntlet farm) is not a bad thing? or actually it is a good thing. cause those places can get pretty crazy.. and we wouldn’t want that present in WvW would we?

This match-up has been super fun. Everyone has come out to play and you can find a fight wherever you go! The thing that always continues to impress me about JQ is the cohesion between guilds as well as the constant coordination. It’s great to see our server community stronger than ever and I hope we can continue watching it grow.

We legitimately tried to 2v1 SoR when we got on the map, but after growing tired of RISE and ESOL trying to play in our backfield, we just decided to kick BG off the map for four hours.

It kind of went like this:
Push SoR to attack all their T3 structures.
Oh nice, BG takes Speldan, oh no Anz, nope now Mendon’s.
Mance: “So now what do you want to do?”
Everyone else: “Stomp BG, make them pay for their transgressions before us.”
Mance: “So it shall be. Praise Jedsus!”

I wish I could take more vacation time to play with your crew, Wotah. Sounds like you guys always have a good time regardless of ppt. JQ is such an awesome community—I’m just glad to be here.

It’s become the only core members of the Blackgate community. When I was on Blackgate none of these guilds were there, not even MERC. I left in January.

I didn’t know that update was only released on the Blackgate server.

Found the missing bg zerg. Been playing this game for 11 months and for the first time i had to put my settings on low in pve.

Shout out to JQ taking care of business in this matchup. We knew you had it in you. Way to come back to T1 strong.

Haha you’re so ridiculous. You can try to pretend there’s no 2v1 going on but when both other servers are literally standing next to each other it becomes less of an excuse and more of just a fact.

That’s fine though. The same thing happens every time JQQ comes back up to T1 from being punked down to T2. They come up, fired up, focus on BG with SOR for a few weeks and BG drops in rankings. Eventually JQQ grows a pair and attacks SOR only to tumble ever downward back into T2 because without the SOR team up they can’t hack it in T1. This has gone on forever now and has been happening as long as the Henge of Denravi days.

Say what you will about TC and DB, at least they played to win.

More revisionist postings please. Just how many times has JQ been in T2? (tiers are not what they once were with the pseudo random rolls now) . You make it soudns like we have been bouncing up and down forever between T1 and T2 since HoD.

Up until the relaxing the tier match ups we were in T2 for 1 week back in September 2012.

Out of pure curiosity since I like to keep up with these things, what guilds joined JQ while you were out of “tier 1” and from what servers? Definitely want to know!

Since our last confrontation we lost [ACO] and [WARD] to SoR,
and we gained Zombieland[WvW]

That’s about it, the rest are still the same old guilds you’re facing.

Anyway, a couple JQ mentioned new guilds (particularly NA timezone) joined. Just wanted a name or two, but I guess trolling is a good enough answer.

ZombieLand runs a WvW tag and a sizeable force they are. We have a few “newish” guilds such as RATS, Noah, etc but these are made up of existing playerbase just running new tags for training and more importantly revigourating the players.

If you think we somehow gained a ton of folks then I am sorry to dissapoint you. Alot of what you see are the same folks or folks coming back. Its quite possible we have got a bunch of small guilds/solo’s recently since we hit full but its difficult to track that and it could just as easily be Anet playing with the caps again

Massive BG zerg in EB right now, I’m seeing about 80BG consisting of pugs with a MERC core. Seems like BG is focusing all its forces in EBG to defend their keep. Some sick fights going on in there.

Fighting against 80 JQ and just as many SoR is pretty fun tbh, sometimes the fiercest fights are when you have your back to a wall. Although EB lag is a pain in the kitten , its a good reminder of why we stick to the borderlands lol. Thanks for the fights regardless.
