Yeah, good times. I forgot how much I enjoyed the close matchups. Hopefully they fix these blowouts soon.

But.. back to this week: When my big brother get’s home he’s going to kick your kitten. (Lord knows I can’t do it.)

So to be serious for a moment here, the people you see at spawn most likely had nothing to do with taking the keep, and once the wall gets knocked down, they will probably be out of there like a bat out of hell. When we face BG/TC next week they won’t be around. To most people on FA, those people aren’t really part of who we are. But for CD, it’s who you probably think FA is.

I think TC is in a similar situation – for so long they were #1 in tier 2, so they had plenty of fairweathers and people just hopping on the gravy train. FA often thought that TC was mostly just those guys, just that there were so many of them. The dedicated TC WvW community probably didn’t identify with them at all.

I do think the complaints about emotes are kinda lame and you can just turn those off. CD and SoS (and every server we’ve ever faced, TC probably the biggest ‘offender’ back in the day) will use emotes and corpse jumping and whatever.

I wish every week everyone had somewhat even numbers and servers could spend time defending and attacking as momentum shifts back and forth. I find it fascinating that Anet can make anything happen as long as it is tied to the gem shop but WvW has some major flaws (no GvG, coverage imbalances, no updates to keep people from checking out new PvE content) that just float on by. Then again, stagnant design is tied to the gem shop through transfers, which is what the current system encourages.

Probably. I also realize that the people doing the emoting are probably not on the forums. It’s just irritating. I didn’t know you could turn off emotes. I’ve never had to think about it before. I’ll do that. Although I still think doing it is a sign of poor sportsmanship, it is really an individual thing and not a server thing.

Regarding TC, the shift in the TC WvW community (along with long queues and life in the zergball) is the reason I left. Right now I think TC is an interesting case, since the server is full, they’ve advanced as far as they will in the rankings, which makes me think you’ll see departures soon. (at least that’s the historical pattern with bandwagon servers) which will hopefully re-balance T2.

It hasn’t happened even once since the new matchup system was put in place

And TC is no longer the server it was when it was the three of us for .. oh, so many weeks. They field a much, much bigger zerg because they have more people in WvW than ever before.

Whilst I do miss a lot of people on TC.. I kitten ed sure don not miss the Tier 2 skill lag. SMC three way battle, anyone? Press 1 wait wait, press 1 wait for a bit longer, oh crap my guild is waaaaaay up there. How’d that happen? Press w close eyes and hope for the best. What? I am on the other side of SMC now? Better heal up! <tab> Dead.

Good GvG Team Shatter versus Unreal Aussies ( uA) I played as a norn necro and I thought uA used very good movement and condition control. While TS were happy to get one skirmish win, the series win clearly went to uA.

I appreciate the turnout from both sides, including the onlookers, thanks for bringing the fun.

The FA zerg in SoSbl Wednesday afternoon… I’m grateful for the Wxp I got from it but it was a hollow victory recapping our entire BL simply because you realized we weren’t going to give you our garrison and you left to victimize CDbl instead.

I assume the quick responders at Hills on FAbl shortly afterward were the real WvW groups and that was an awesome fight despite it not going our way. Thanks for that brawl.

Just yesterday we (FA) were taking Bay (can’t remember who we were taking from) and as we were standing on the inside walls they attempted to portal bomb right on top of us… surprising to say they bombed themselves! Haha love this matchup! There was a lot of great fighting and I’m enjoying every minute of it! Be on the lookout for my fat kitten

No one uses normal siege in T1/2. It’s standard practice to only use superiors.

This is the first matchup that FA only used sup seige fyi, we’ve played them a few times thanks to the new matchup system. But ok if you like overkill and waste that sup seige on us then go for it :P

Thanks man! We just transferred here recently. We do lack the numbers atm, but will be trying to recruit so we can at least run 20-25 in the future. Was fun fights, we got stomped A LOT though, but we will not run away ever :P thank you for the kind words, definitely boosts the morale of our guild!

They did the same to our Garri in CDBL, after we spent the whole day building up a WP too. I don’t even know why we bother spending money on upgrades this match up because FA is just going to spam Golems everywhere.

Getting handed a hat isn’t so bad. TC/DB/Mag is one of the more fun matches we’ve had.

We’re in a tough spot, in t4 we do pretty well and that bumps us up. However the jump from T4 to T3 is a pretty big jump, and we start getting spread to thin…we’re more a T3.5
