So, as of October 18th, Maguuma is doomed to have garbage matchups for an entire seven weeks. I’m so excited and definitely looking forwards to seasons, wow. WvW is in a phenomenal place right now and I am definitely not contemplating xferring servers/going to another MMO. Not one bit.

actually, it looks like if maguuma really takes it to DB all week, you guys could gain enough to get you in contention for the gold league. you’d have to be relentless and merciless this week, to get as much of a boost as possible. then the next two weeks would be a pretty close race between you, DB and SoS. so, at least for the next couple weeks, your WvW performance will actually have some significance for you three.
Gold league isn’t edgy enough for maguuma. They’re hipster trolls. Too cool for school. But not cool enough to not need to prove it. Over, and over, and…
After a few hours play, have to say — DB’s NA force = totally dead. Not a single chance VS Mag’s NA. About same level as EB (but DB is 2 tiers higher than EB). If DB’s Asian force can not put a huge lead as before, I am expecting DB will fall to Tier4 soon.

Considering the anouncement that went out a couple hours ago it might be intentional. Droping out of the gold league would be so easy for them with this current matchup. Throw the match badly and drop 2 ranks easy then just hold steady and win the silver league.
well if they throw it i would love to steal as many points as possible to make it to the gold league. and i know if mag took ppt srs we can beat sos. sorry anyone below rank 7 you guys just dont field enough for a fun time in wvw

You are dreaming right? If DB falls, the only server which can take it’s place is SoS. Unless a second tier 1/2 tier falls along with DB.
It depends a lot on the matches in the next few weeks and how they play out. If SoS gets “unlucky” and we get “lucky” then it’s entirely possible their rating will fall below ours at the right time.
Rather have Maguuma then SoS. At least they fight and have an NA. So if we have to lose DB then hopefully JQ and FA crush SoS into the ground and Maguuma stream rolls DB and Ehmry. If that happens there’s a very good chance of Maguuma passing SoS.

Won’t be a steam roll. DB will probably win the weekend from oceanic. Mag will need to roll weekday NA hard.
DB will lose some rating this week, but not a lot. They still have some oceanic vs 2 server with none.
Could have been that the dev worked on the original GW gvg and feels violated it’s being mocked in this game. Idk but that’s still no way for a dev to act.
