Most people suck on a personal level. No amount of game design will fix that.

actually, it looks like if maguuma really takes it to DB all week, you guys could gain enough to get you in contention for the gold league. you’d have to be relentless and merciless this week, to get as much of a boost as possible. then the next two weeks would be a pretty close race between you, DB and SoS. so, at least for the next couple weeks, your WvW performance will actually have some significance for you three.

Just checked it. According to Mos Millenium, Mag has moved up to 7th and DB has dropped to 8th. Maguuma will just have to beat SoS which should be easy at the present rate.

Edit: SBI will probably pass DB by the end of the weekend, and EBay might pass them by the time reset comes around. Which means DB should be in 10th place by this time next week.

Everyone did. Bandwagon servers always implode spectacularly. One of the big reasons why Mag doesn’t want to be bandwagoned.

I have always been impressed with Mags capability for defense. Early on I thought they just liked keeping their PPT and not letting others take their nodes. Their coordination and response time always was impressive due to the use of a server wide voip usage 2nd to only T1 servers(Mag admitted this isnt the case now).

I find it funny that the respect you guys always got was under slightly false pretenses. You defense wasnt about turtling up and keeping your PPT, but the amazing defense came from everyone on Mags wanting a fight so they went to anything being attacked.

A few good fights last night in eternal. I hope that Ebay guilds keep playing after the weekend.

I actually had a lot of fun last night and had to like tape my eyelids open to stay awake – Please more fights throughout the week.

After a few hours play, have to say — DB’s NA force = totally dead. Not a single chance VS Mag’s NA. About same level as EB (but DB is 2 tiers higher than EB). If DB’s Asian force can not put a huge lead as before, I am expecting DB will fall to Tier4 soon.

Considering the anouncement that went out a couple hours ago it might be intentional. Droping out of the gold league would be so easy for them with this current matchup. Throw the match badly and drop 2 ranks easy then just hold steady and win the silver league.

Wrong, DB lost 5+ guilds the past 2 weeks. Our NA = crushed, your servers are actually and legitimately more powerful than us now. We held 1-2 keeps on reset and 1 was in EBay BL, we were outnumbered. In old DB every map had a queue with 2-4 guilds on them.

The wheels couldn’t have fallen off of a nicer wagon.

either top of silver or bottom of gold depends on if sos or mag does better
db imploded and is rapidly losing so a spot is open in gold.

We’d also end up with absolutely awful matches for 7 full weeks if we were stuck in Silver League. I’d probably either find another game or xfer servers if that ends up happening.
