We got where we are with solid Defense and knowing when we have the population advantage to go on offense . We have constant scouting in our bl and will send one if an X gets toss up on a keep or north towers. We place an emphasis on defense because you can defend a fortified tower/keep 10vs30 easily. Not saying “wipe” but for 10 people to fend off a zerg is better than having to call for reinforcements from eternal. Speaking of which our people in eternal know when to help out AR BL and we have non-commander personnel just as concerned about our home bl as our commanders.

On reset you probably faced about 90% of our wvw community which is the same people you will see all week at various times in the day. We are consistent. We bleed you of points by keeping your keeps wood. It’s like a game of keep away which allows us quicker response time when you’re banging your heads on our fully upgraded keeps. Think about it…it takes about 2 hours to get gates/walls done on a keep and that’s if it gets yaks steadily. To get a waypoint it can take up to 4 to 5 hours. Waypoints are key to having a solid defense. To cap a keep with wooden gates can be done in less than 10 minutes with 20 people. So when you finally get rams built on the door, our zerg is finishing building rams on inner. When your zerg gets stalled by 3 guys on AC’s with the door at 80%, our zerg has capped your keep and on the way to defend whatever you are trying to hit. After we wipe you we head back to our progress. Now if you decide to hit the same keep or even if you flip back the one we capped. We can easily go back to it or hit elsewhere in your bl turning another tower/keep into wood.

TLDR: We’re not double teaming, we’re making sure we do everything we can to keep both teams off our back by attacking everyone.

Agreed. One of the great things that we have down here in the Bronze League is a decent set of people. The matchup threads for some of the higher tier servers can be vicious!

Also, I apologize if I seemed hypocritical. I know we have been hitting DR hard, but it has not been our focus, the only reason it changed was the attacks on our EB keep. I am by no means saying that we are not attacking you at all. This week AR has been very equal opportunity with our attacks as we are focused on a goal.

As always, it is a pleasure having a good match, and I hope that our new found resurgence does not harm relations with other servers. As I have said many times before, this is a game, for all of us. There is no reason to be mean or spiteful to each other, no matter where we place in the match.

there’s really no excuse for poor sportsmanship. Its always better to play against servers who can keep it fun even when they’re winning… obviously we haven’t won (first) in a long time (and still havent won anything)… but yea, we probably need to keep the “omg we’re winning…” excitement / amazement ( / gloating even) to our own forums cause it just doesn’t look too good to anybody else here.

AR is playing the PPT game very well this week. The late night pvdoor crew is obviously carrying the score hard for AR, but that doesn’t discredit the efforts of the rest of their players. Even during the primetime-to-midnight hours when we can actually run up the score on them a bit, they do a good job of minimizing the damage until everyone goes to bed.

Felt like a pinball between those large groups of DR and GoM… at least armor repairs were free. Props, both servers’ groups (ASH, OP etc) put up good fights tonight on DR BL.

To be fair, we were the ones deciding to facetank cannon rounds and respawning guards in our zeal. Made for a lot of frustrating moments. Exemplary play from KAOS mes/ele and the moob warr.

No, this was much earlier (the hacking accusation). Have to remember KAOS is small, so we tend to switch up classes quite a bit. But yes, we did have fights ruined by cannons and zergs a more than a few times. Mixx logged for the night by the time OHai was there. Bad Mixx!

Meh, around this time there isn’t much we can do against those oceanics that you guys have gained. If you continue pulling those kinds of numbers, then most likely its going to be a match for second place between us and DR

You honestly think AR is winning because we got transfers from other servers? Only about 10 people from ZERO transferred (the rest don’t have enough gold to transfer back to AR from BG). We also lost a guild called shhh. You guys double teamed us on reset night with DR and only manage to gain a wopping 15k lead over us in the first few days. We are winning because AR is determined to win and because we have competent commanders and guilds with superior tactics/strategy.

One final word for that Bemo char commander who keeps showing up late to save a fully fortified and fully supplied keep: Try stacking your zerg before engagements. If you do this one simple step, then you wouldn’t be charging into an Anvil Rock zerg by yourself lol.

Bump. Got 2nd place in the last 2 match ups. Doing well on this weeks reset. We are becoming known more for our defense of the borderland. We have a oceanic guild coming to ar as well soon. This will turn our bronze league oceanic force into a tough time for many enemy bronze league forces. Again things are looking good here in anvil rock. Weekday forces are almost on par with our weekend force.

Someone on ts said ar in lords and I rushed on over with the people in my party if you call that a zerg then you might want to look up what zerg actually means. Make that Gate of Madness is a NA server and people get off at 1am or earlier during weekdays. Our bl crew went to bed and I was trying to go to bed. I rushed in to see how many you had since you claim you only have 10 people at oceanic time. But grats on getting an empty gari. The 30 that I had with me went to bed and I was looking for someone to get on and take over but seeing as we have no oceanic commanders or guilds. I just stay up to watch ar wipe our map and then went back to youtube. I do have to say I love the 8 superior rams on inner and outer gari. 800 supplies. We may look like a big WvW server and we are listed as a very high population but during the week its only the core GoM WvWer’s that stay on. Once we lose 1st all the pve players leave and you see what GoM really is. Sad thing is even if I would of defended it with my “zerg” then it would of been lost in the morning. Seeing as how we have nobody on during the hours of 6am till 3pm est. I was watching our point tick at work. Yeah the BeMo commander with a slow response because Im away and you can ask any GoM player on that I stay up crazy hours because no GoM commander will show up to take over for me. Our small “zerg” of 4 just ended up going to bed or watching youtube while in game. We were having fun watching ar wipe our map while we danced at north camp. We even put a challenge out to Allergic to Grapes to come for a fight and he was to afraid. Messaging me back to stop picking on him. Our small “zerg” just danced the night away waiting for the 60 man ar group to come fight but they never came. Makes me sad. Guess that’s why GoM is Madness.

We have more than 10 oceanic. I dont think anybody has claimed otherwise. We have had 10 oceanic transfers sure and that may be where the confusion lies. At the same time some NA players have been pulling long shifts recently. 60 is an over estimation as well, it was more like 50…

That sucks you cant get anyone to take over for you but you probably shouldn’t be watching youtube while commanding. Unless it’s to get tips (jks jks).

OMG! It’s 6am in the states and GoM still has it’s BL keeps! Major kudos to our night/early morning crew of 10 – 15 people.

Just report them and the person doing the rezzing if it is happening repeatedly. This is actually a LoS exploit and they’ll get a 72 hour vacation for it.

So you are admitting to using a game exploit. On a side note. We have talked to a couple of brl members and brl does not support this kind of behavior. Good to see that this may just be 1 exploiting Mesmer instead of a guild/server supporting exploits.
I’m just happy this exploiter only accomplished to do so on paper keeps.
