trust me man… AR has done MUCH worse on our way up… we kept their keep, built a waypoint there and camped there for days on end, never moved on. most of these people who are raging about what’s going on now weren’t around then and are just upset because they’re new and want to actually just play. Looking back now, its not a very nice thing to do and if I had a do-over i wouldn’t do it again (different times, different scoring system, you know…).

from what i’ve seen SF eventually does move on. its not like you have numbers to keep people everywhere at once (not a dig, just battlefield logistics). I wouldn’t worry about people raging on the forums. next week will be a new week, and there will still be a wvw. Hopefully AR has given you guys something fun to play against, even if it’s been at our spawn, you’ve given us some exciting fights (I know personally its been pretty exciting trying to keep stuff from getting capped at night when i play, we’ve won some we’ve lost some, but that is what it is all about).

I hope for your server that you are a commander or at the very least a vocal leader…Because you sir, seem to have a handle on reality, and get “it”.

Been defending our BL from ET since reset. Honestly, look at EB and your BL, don’t you have anything better to do? SF now leading with 19k points, the next server below that in terms of points is TC with 12k points. If you would kindly play with some strategy, maybe we both wouldn’t be getting owned so bad.

Next item on my agenda, SF and ET, please stop wiping yourself and your golems on our garry doors thanks. Or at least have the decency to come at the same time so we can clean you off in one go.

Pancakez, SF hasn’t rolled a positive “random” roll for reset placement since they introduced the new match up system. Just keep stacking the bodies and we’ll see new faces sooner or later.

For the sake of nostalgia, I dug this up for dem pro old skool players. Hope at least a few of you know what it is. I considered ET as my first server just because of this, went with another because of friends, though.

All I’m saying is when the numbers were close, the fights were sub par. We have faced and enjoyed facing skilled opponents. Running around pressing 1 with a horde of players who don’t understand how their class works doesn’t build challenging fights. We did a little bit of zerg splitting, which was far easier than it should be. Noticed a ton of glassy builds on SF, because those are super good, and saw inferior supply and siege management. Mind you, if you grossly outnumber your opponents, that is less of an issue. The color of the towers doesn’t mean it was exciting, after all it was reset night, so we try not too pay much mind to it, expecting massive zergs. But if you find hordes of bad players taking paper keeps and towers with limited defense “exciting” then more power to you.

successfully defending against superior numbers is exciting. facing bad players makes it easier, but no less exciting because of the numbers disparity.

then again, AR hasn’t faced SF before this. they don’t really know how big the SF zergs get at times… ET does.

nope we haven’t, but assuming you can’t keep 80+ people on every map, 30+ people map hopping to save towers all the time like some of the server’s we’ve fought in the past, i think most of us will enjoy the match up.

t8’s as far as we can fall. we’re here, hope you get used to seeing us think we’re going to be here a while. also hope the pointless chest thumping calms down a bit. its a fun game we’ve been in free fall and hope to pick up morale here at the bottom to some degree.

lol yes you are completely right. and like always arrogance comes hand in hand with ignorance. there IS no AR zergs anymore silly wabbit. and since your are not actually in every match up in NA, im going to assume you’ve talked to every single world and asked if they thought it was “the MOST” boring matchup in all of North America to accurately state such a fact.

Yes, there aren’t any AR zergs remaining, just walking lootsbags. AR wasn’t ever a threat in the 13 week matchup, and you guys slowly diminished away. If it makes you feel better, when Ehmry Bay went up against Dragonband, we destroyed ALS so many times. And I do feel sorry about all the AR guilds leaving your server, kind of blows. But this matchup is pretty kitten boring. I’ve never had a matchup where I can some home BL is safe five minutes after the start of reset, go into and enemy borderlands and cap it within 10 minutes, while we own almost of their stuff on eternal. I just want to play DR and GoM Not to win, but to fight their skill groups.

If VS is a 5 man guild, I can understand the down transfer. Not easy finding small group action much above T5. I have yet to see VS out there as far as I can recall, just large zergs with poor situational awareness, then again it was a reset night.

That’s funny last time I checked the map we had 4 fortified keeps while AR had 5 points : a camp in ET borderlands. We sure are not a strong server in WvW but that’s ironic to get this kind of comment from a server that is doing even worse.

As always AR will fall behind in third all week long and hopefully we will get a decent matchup next week. I liked it better when it was AR vs NSP vs DH

A more balanced matchup would be ETvsARvsFC. I’m looking forward to it.

You’re totally going to find skilled fights when you all run in a giant zerg. Congratulations for beating someone 3:1. That said, while we HAVE been online defending, we’ve been wiping both ET and SF groups loaded with golems over and over again.

The comment was directed at your inability to win fights while you aren’t PvDing. Also, look at the points, SF is at 55k points, which is a whole 15k more than the next top leading NA server. That means both ET and AR are getting owned. Nothing to be proud of here, no matter your temporary strength at this moment.

AR has basically melted down in wvw. 75% or more of our hardcore wvw players have moved elsewhere. Beating us is nothing to be proud of at the moment.

Let us not forget who started this. One of AR’s people decided they would swing their kitten in the wind in an attempt to try and show off. That, to me, was not making any type of good impression at all. You can talk all big but you can’t back it up. If anything, it’s AR who needs a dose of humility. ET at least tries and they earn our respect for that. They’ve given us some good match-ups and some really epic fights at times. I have literally seen nothing good from AR thus far, especially how their population is acting.
No, we’re not perfect. We don’t think we are. We’ve had our dose of humility and now we’re working to get better. We work with what we have and when we make mistakes, we try to learn from them as a server. It doesn’t seem as if AR has learned anything at all. Maybe that’s why they’ve fallen so low.
Have something to back your smack before you flap your jaw.

no chest thumping here… and i never said you havn’t faced big zergs. of course you have. you’ve been in the higher tiers. but ET knows from painful bitter experience what SF fields. when they WANT to…. 30 people map hopping won’t save your towers. their weakness is overnight/early morning (NA times).
