Good game WSR just 5 minutes ago at FoW borderland while fighting for Redlake tower, some of your (I suppose) fellows know new tricks (hack business) about get inside tower with walls and gates intact. Was there for 30 minutes, unless he enter with the dolyak and disguise of supply pack, this member of [AoK] guild (Angel of Khaos) done dirty job by destroy my arrow card at top of tower, that same AC was suppose to aim to gate and for 10 minutes WSR couldn’t aproax.

That’s easy mode and my advice to all cheaters is to get any single player game, find “god mode” code and have your own fun. And yes I’m upset. period

I know I would say this but its really unlikely there was any “hacks”, its my old guild and I never got that vibe from anyone there, and certainly not when running in wvw – maybe someone else can shed some light on it? Its a shame we have accusations as quite a few of us grinded through the night to help keep our daytime lead up.

Some nice fights and hit’n’run vs Jd, i’m sure there will be more chances for me to fight the necro

Also, nothing is even close as invalid as Nubu is.

Tech has been defending Vabbi border 2pm-6pm (some still on I think). Had a ton of nice fights (defended lake again ~30-50 FoW with 3 golems vs. our 5 man group). Kicked some WSR kitten too. Hope you enjoyed as much as we did.

You see, i think, there is not a “perfect” build or a superior team setup above all, it is all about what do you have to do with that team and what kind of enemies you will have to counter.

In other words, starting from your correct analysis, try to figure out the way (work on the builds) to strenghten your team, maybe try to establish what are the “key” boons you want to have at all costs and for the longer period of time possible during a fight and what are those conditions you surely need to avoid in order to grant your team a more stable and healthy fight.

Also try and assign different “role” to each member of your team so they can practice that same role over and over, until each one of you become part of something which eventually will work in symbiosis.

Naturally, every scenario is different and so should be the roles involved.
Picking the right opponent as main first target could make a huge difference.
Sometime “not” picking a target could be the wiser choice too :p

In conclusion, as Effsee said earlier, we too have a lot to learn yet.

It seems although our guilds share the same willing to improve themselves and that alone, is enough to forsee more “fun” coming :p

Heheh, thanks for the answer, I copied what you said to next match-up thread, cause we’re facing eachother again. After that evening we decided to work on a “fixed team”, rather than a loose formation of classes. Here’s our team combo atm:

• Me: healing guardian, with 1,4k healing power, 1,8-2k toughness and 1,6k vitality.
• Heimdallr: fixed tank/dps warrior whose task it is to take dmg and deal dmg.
• Light L: condi remover, another shout guardian, but with higher base dps.
• Demonsville: thief, our main damage dealer and deception specialist (that stealth)
• Iria Dis: necromancer, condi/tank with cc and lovely condi play
• Shelliax: warrior, mostly damage, swaps between direct damage and condi

Rest is still to decide their role. All in all today was a very succesful day for our team, because we took on some epic fights. I think the dueling has aided in coming to a more specialised team. We’ll probs train a lot the next days/weeks and hopefully become better. Thank you!

Well he insulted Rorik for a while until he agreed to duel..then he lost 3 duels and called him a luck noob and spammed some more insults :P

Poor Jd xD. Yday on vb, 3 tries to take garri and we ninja’d bluelake + hills with 5 people while you failed every time. Funny though how you came with 30 people to Carver’s Ascent where we had that nice treb set up. Salutations from tech. :P

Clearly Tech’s got some issues with Jd. Yesterday I met a group of 4 Tech that were about to take a camp. I was just jumping behind them.. but when they notice me they buff up, shadow refuge and start chasing me (one of them was a charr warrior with a legendary weapon). Seriously, leave a camp and start hunting one lonely mesmer? If you’re looking for a fight with somewhat fair numbers, don’t expect that from Tech

Mhm, if I’m not mistaken we fought a norn mesmer around 5-6 times yesterday. We did indeed chase 1 mesmer from Jd I think around 5pm yesterday, might have been you. You tried to kill sentry/dolyak 3 times, each time running off when anyone from tech came near. And yes, we got so annoyed by your cowardly behavior we decided to kill you. We were just defending/sieging/upgrading lake & hills. If you hadn’t persevered in tickling our toes, we wouldn’t have gone to the conclusion “BREAKFAST!” (i.e. free kill). :P

Don’t speak about fair numbers by the way. If I’m not wrong you were also there when we were catapulting lake, and I believe there were some 10 Jd attacking our 5 in the end (barely made it out), along with a few WSR. And after that the inglorious trebuchet on Carver’s Ascent, that was the whole Jd guild, some 30 on our 5. Most of our fights are we (outnumbered) vs. zerg.

I’ll have to appreciate your method of spawning guild mates btw. It always looks like there are 2-3 in the beginning, then 2 more come out of nowhere, and 2 more and so on. xD

Oh and nothing personal. We just dislike mesmers, especially if they keep annoying us.

Most important thing to say though is, apart from the occasional zerg and the occasional chase of annoying mesmers: great match-up. We’re getting some of the best fights we ever had.

JD is quite a complicated matter because solo or in twos most JD guys are very nice but in a zerg you are hunting down every solo player mercylessly ^^

Exactly. It’s just mean. I know cases where the pet is stronger than the boss. Quaggans count too! Point taken, point defended. No but seriously I think there might have been some pugs with the ‘zerg’. We saw them coming from afar and even a tail following.

Funny though, I have some footage of yet another 3 Tech guys (2 warriors, 1 upscale) at the north camp of Vabbi bl, defending their camp against me and our other Norn mesmer (male norn wearing pink armor). How do Tech defend their camp? Well, with two ballistae and an AC of course!

No hard feelings Tech Thanks for the good times (ie. those times I’ve gotten away from you in time or just the times I’ve trolled with you for some minutes, looking at you going the opposite direction and chasing my clones). Sometimes I can’t help but troll the trolls.

Oh, and big shout out to Imp <3 Your asura mesmer was too nice for not joining the 1v2 I recently had outside a camp.

With all due respect, the JD zerg doesn’t exactly stop to count either.
Countless times i’ve been chased down by JD members and often than not, more than 4.

I guess when people see a tag they’ve been zerged by, they don’t think “Lets give this guy an even fight.”

Maybe you prefer hit and run as an euphemism. It’s a tactic for sure, but not the most honourable. I have a level 80 mesmer, but I tend not to play it cause I know from experience how annoying mesmers can be, without being dangerous.

If i’m correct hes running condi PI, which relys on him running away while hes clone do damage. It’s a pretty cheesy spec and the only way to kill stuff with it is if people want to fight. Otherwise they can just walk away if they want.

Shatter hits alot harder but takes abit more active play to pull off. Also pretty hard to play in the current condi spam meta.

Well in a world of Hammer wars, condition perplexity wars, perma thieves, condition necros etc i think a PU cond mesmer isn’t the worst thing to fight.

I kinda like fighting warriors…stealing their Signet of Rage buff feels like hitting a jackpot every time. Only thing better is stealing Rampage as One from a Ranger ^^

Jd chases down every single roamer in our BL because if we don’t, we’ll lose our entire bl within about 15 minutes of us leaving FoW BL. You should take it as a compliment really.

Tbh a PU condi mesmer and a hammer warrior of the same skill level. PU condi should win, The only reason there isn’t as much QQ about this is because its not viable in spvp due to the way stealth works on points.

With a blob like that it’s a mystery how FoW are currently last o.O

Been some good fights tonight, although most of what we encoutnered was large guild groups around or a full server blob there has been a few decent ones in between. We shall see what the rest of the week brings!

It’s a bit strange to see large groups of people in all the karma trains with the same guild tag. Do you have specific guilds set up to make it easier for all the pugs to hop on the karma train? I’m an old man and can’t remember much (they even made it easy for me and always stayed in one pile a bit away from the rest), but it was something along the lines of “J…” and “T…”. I could be wrong though.

However, these community guilds have really mastered the art of the cho cho! Maybe one day you’ll find groups of your own size to play. Until then, remember the old rule: “If you take damage in your zerg, then you need more people”
