DH isn’t down and out yet. ANBU continues to paper your fully fortified towers in your BL. I got 3/4 of them earlier today before having to go to work.
I have not touched wvw today. I played a few hours after reset yesterday , but after that crazy last few hours of fighting with fc in our previous match, I needed a break.

On another note, What is with all the rangers? You do realize they offer little to no support in WvW. Any other class outshines Ranger in WvW hands down. So so many rangers makes me cry
Longbow rangers are super common amongst the ‘randoms’ in WvW for a few reasons. I don’t particularly care for the class either but it has some visible strengths for a casual player in WvW.
1. A MS signet – straightforward, getting around and keeping up without relying on other players for swiftness.
2. Low risk gameplay – you can join a zerg as a random player and easily avoid personal danger thanks to long range and easy retreat skills.
3. Easy water field – people love spamming for water fields.

That’s what I’m getting at they offer self support for the most part. That’s why it shocks me to see so many in a zerg.
I’m not trying to hate on Rangers but they are the most gibbed class in the game. My main was a Ranger in the first GW. Was the first character I rolled when I bought GW2 and we’ll I was very disappointed. They just aren’t viable currently in WvW hopefully A-net fixes ranger and makes me eat my words.
Yep. As a ranger I just “hate” hearing “Nice entangle” as the zerg I’m running with pummels the crud out of the poor fellows who are now not moving. Or, as I stay with the main zerg and outlast even the enemy warriors(most likely zerkers). A properly built ranger can survive and deal damage. People just gave up on them long ago due to nerfs. I’ve only ever played a ranger in WvW. I find commanders thankful as you take out siege on the wall, blast water ad fire zones, and do the things everyone else does in a zerg. WvW is a team sport after all.

I’m wvw rank 98 on my Ranger and I play it *gasp* because I have more fun playing on a ranger than on the other classes. To me, if I’m choosing my character based on the meta of the month, I’m no longer playing the game for the fun and that’s the whole point.
I am back and have recently transferred to AR from NSP. I am in the market for a roaming guild. I chose AR, because it was the one lower tier server I never had the chance to face before I stopped playing. I’ve run with some of the best on NSP, so I know my kitten. Sorry, our server doesn’t stop doing what they enjoy just to do a little bit better in WvW. We’re not all going to roll hammer warriors like HoD.
