I personally wasnt involved with any of the [mend] falling out, and miss many of my friends who went with [mend] to IoJ. To this day I think the [mend] rank and file made the wrong choice, but everyone has to find their own way. I wish them the best.

But while I got along with flappy and ran with him, he was very poisonous to the environment on HoD. He and some other members of [mend] were kittens to many people. And rank and file like me people who just wanted to make HoD a better place suffered for it. In the end, the departure flappy and other leaders was like having a terminal illness cured. You may not have been involved in the events that caused [Mend] to leave HoD but its obvious what side you’re on, the fact that your harbor this much animosity against them after leaving shows it all. I could understand if they made personal attacks on you over an extended period of time, id understand that completely, but from the what you’re telling me, they did not.

You are making posts in accordance to what you experienced, im making posts on what im experiencing with [Mend] at the current date and time. Who says either of us is wrong? But…its obvious by the posts of you and fellow HoD players on these forums ( not calling out HoD as a whole) from this weeks match up thread and those previous, that the poisonous element ,you mentioned, is still alive and well on HoD.

I wasnt the one to come onto this match up and start throwing the dirt, i came in here after the first few throws to defend a guild and its members that i like, players who provide a valued service to our WvW community. If this makes me ignorant and idiotic then so be it, the next time you stand up for someone, just remember your own words.

But then again, standing up for a fellow IoJ guild that you respect is neither of those things, coming to a forum and spitting vile, obviously because youre still angered by something that didnt affect you personally, is.

As someone who has run with you I must say that we enjoyed it as well. I was the ranger on the AC above the Lord’s room. Plus I was down below for the first part of the fight. I was an intense little battle and fun was had by all.

It would only be an exploit if it was invulnerable to attack, its not. Siege isnt immune to damage like players are, the cliff within that NE tower or north of the NE sentry are perfect places to put a counter treb. Treb it back…

Hi, I am one of the leaders of RUN, would like to say a few things.

1. It’s not an exploit or anything else other people think it is, just a matter of siege placement. No one ever complains that the same rams can hit outer and inner gate of blue keep in EB if they are placed right but they can’t do that at any other keep, it just comes down to siege placement and the way the game was designed and how the maps were created.

2. Fight open field? We are not a zergy guild, we are a guild compiled of solo roamers and PvP people with a roster of 30 people that are on IOJ with maybe 6 at the most we can get online at the same time on the same server, so please forgive us if we choose not to fight 5ish v zerg. So you’re right, we won’t and know we won’t beat you open field when you hug tripple to more the numbers in safety

I myself have been trying out PVT mesmer roaming, straying from my normal ranger and so far I have found some good fights, but trust me buddy, out of all of HoD there have been maybe 4 people at most I have seen with the balls to solo roam and actually be anything worth of a thought, I have called out 1 of them here already. Oddly enough they were [MU] for the most part.

As an ex-GoM member who was there last year in the never ending match ups with you guys against DH when they would own all maps all day, back then you guys were nothing short of respectful and always looking for fun, but looking at HoD as a whole now all I have personally seen is you guys trash 1 guild after another and in game zerg 3 people then /laugh and /sit/sit/sit.

Please get back to having fun, I know moderators and devs have annoyed us all and turned us towards other games but don’t be apart of the reason why we see less and less people play everyday, especially if you realize the only thing that is keeping this game alive is communities.

I’m also a solo roamer and former GoM. In fact, the reason I came to IoJ was my previous dealings with the server, my roaming buddies of RUN, and the honeybuns. None asked me to join, it was simply my experiences and being tired of defending a BL by myself (which was the case constantly in GoM). I agree that solo roamers are much harder to come by these days. Seems I run into a few now and then but most ended up looking for backup the minute they are in trouble. I always get a blast out of a player /sit /sit /sit on me when I’m trying to prevent their group (often 4+) from taking a camp. It’s even more satisfying when I run into them in the open field and take them apart since I can actually use my stealth and the evasive nature of the memser without worrying about losing the capping circle.

I’ll look into this when I’m on tonight. Do you happen to know what race the warrior was using? It will help narrow the list down as we have a lot of warriors with cobalt in the guild.
