You must be new to WvW.

TC and Doylaks are one of the best things that happen in WvW.

Good. I can’t really think of anything worse than something that would destabilize the current T1 situation.
As much as I tease, a situation with one server with too great of an advantage would just send everything off a cliff.

To be fair JQ did get a -LOT- of transfers right before leagues started. If it werent for the PvE or achievement hunters forcing some guilds away from the server, it would have been very clearly destabilized. Which is also not all that unusual in kitten begin with, they’ve had an arms race going for a very long time now.

Heh, yeah, plus the whole reshuffling of guilds that happens as a result. I still feel bad thinking back to SBI and SoS, as that was a pretty sweet matchup overall.

A lot of folks just haven’t had to push as hard in these matchups, compared to the SoR/BG ones — not a slight to T2 servers, it’s just not as much of an even coverage war to maintain. So, they’ve been taking breaks, and etc. They’re just as ready as the rest of us to get this started on Friday.

Most of us during SEA/Oceanic timezone are bored. Sometimes we leave the enemies garrison alone so that they will come out and play. And sometimes we just camp their spawn. The only other option os to go to EB which has a ridiculous waiting time , ranging from 30 mins to 90 mins during that time frame.

As far as JQ core players from SEA/Oceanic and the new friends we made are , they are here. Just some are on short break because of lack of players to kill. I will say that the the enemies we faced are good, though they be few, their tenacity is strong.

Ty Agg and Jericho for letting us get our first set of GvG’s in. We look forward to GvGng regularly from here on out. Our intentions are to improve our PvP game play for GvG style now.

Thanks those were some good fights. We had a decent turnout that night 20~26 depending on who afk’d. But that was absolutely fun for a good hour that night. The bridge push/pull with CERN (totally accidental too, we were in our own unlinked channels).

Those battles were some of the most memorable moments this week to date.

Worst moment of that hour though/most frustrating… hands down getting jumped on by SoS running up the north east rampart, just north of brudge … ah well … \lessonlearned

We had a good time fighting JQ during sea time. They were tenacious. >3< our small group of 15-30 holding and biting tooth and nail just to get our garrison back for a while.

I want to say thanks to Agg and EP for giving SF the opportunity to get in to the GvG crowd and really get some matches to learn the play style of a GvG. I consider you guys top notch in the play style that GvG provides, even though I have dubbed it “The jousting of the Richards.” The meta of this play style is completely different than what I would ever expect for a GvG format for Guildwars, but I’ll take what I can get. You guys are fun as hell to fight, keep it up out there and I look forward to having fights in the future

It was really fun and I feel like we learned a whole ton about a different playing style. We will continue getting the proper team comps down and getting ourselves in a more formidable format.

Our first two GvG’s in like 8 months were against AGG and EP, we couldn’t have had better guilds to intro us into the scene. TY for the fun! We have a lot to work on and our theorycrafting team is in full swing

That fight was going no where fast, unless I managed to land a solid hit. Was a good effort, but I would recommend looking into improving the build you run. You were still pretty squishy, but did next to no damage. I was literally out healing it and shrugging it off with healing shouts. (more burst and you would have won hands down ;p)

I’m amazed we made it to 6 pages. It’s going to be a distant memory next week. I feel especially bad for TC, they may have to abandon the forums if SoR is finally allowed to post again (some sort of internal bans I believe).
