wow we are up against maguuma, i hear a lot of disturbing things about you guys, JQ returned to t1 after fighting you guys they seem to lost something, one JQ was even in a strapped jacket mumbling maguuma. my friend also returned after fighting your roaming guys he spent 5 hours in the shower shaking and crying.

Glad to see SoR is fighting harder compared to last week. Rebuilding a server’s morale after a crash is a hard task and it’s really good to see you guys are getting there.

It really depends. Generally a BL, more often then not either SoR or BG, but we tend to move a lot to try and keep on the map where we are outmanned and our other organized groups are not running. We like EBG but until after the weekend its too laggy for precision play.

Some fights from last night. We ran into more blobs than anything and I got rolled over a couple of times when I didn’t see it coming. But in 3.5 hours of play this was as good as it got while roaming . . .

I’ve heard blackgate has some decent roamers. I’m hoping that turns out to be true.

The rumors are true. Opp and Riot guild specially have some great solo and small group roamers. I don’t like to represent any guild when I roam but be careful of a bumblebee Asura Ele you might encounter.

Sweet tagless commander BG in EBG! Sweet T1 tactics losing your section.

It wasn’t a tagless Commander. BG’s EB militia had no commander.

KnT had run EB since reset, and when I logged (I’m guessing an hour before your post?) my replacement was in queue. Unfortunately, no-one on map was able/willing to tag up. At that stage Durios had been turned to paper but we were holding Bravost and QL (just).

We’d been double-teamed for 2 hours or so when I logged. This is not a complaint, it was smart play by both sides. We were effectively supply starved us and often hit simultaneously on our north and southwest flanks. This is actually “strategy”, not “tactics”.

The upside is that you’re never bored and there were some excellent fights as we bounced around from one side to another. I got some decent FRAPS of these engagements, showing our actual “tactics”, which I may get around to putting up.

SoR was driving this with a sizable force and Mag were sucker-fishing intelligently off it. The best I saw from Mag was KH (?), even with their relatively small group, they clearly need to be treated with caution.

They hit hard but are squishier than anything I’ve faced in a long time, same with most Mag hammer trains, a lot of damage output but once you get in the back lines everything is easy. I will admit it is more difficult to get into their backlines than a lot of servers but we’ve been fighting BG Hammer trains for so long that Maguuma’s just aren’t as scary. So, yea I will compare Mag’s Hammer trains to old BG’s (recently BG’s have been a huge disappointment, I think it is due to a lot of new WvW’ers playing now, which isn’t a bad thing).

So far so Glassy™… Seems like most of the roamers are concerned w/ DPS over sustain and surviving. I got 100 to 0’d a few times by a mix of classes, but in a group fight situation we’ve been able to res each other up most of the time. I’m looking forward to roaming over the weekend to see what they have to offer. So far we haven’t had any problems winning outnumbered battles against Mag. I think the Mag roamers are like us and like to roam on other BLs instead of their own so you can find them running around in our borderlands.

You’re gonna be blowing these kids up dude. Good luck trying to find a decent duel.

Perhaps full zerk without group support wasn’t the best idea on my part but it’s just fun making really big numbers and forcing organized groups to peel and focus with a single skills use.

I think a lot of solo roamers on Mag focus on Dps due to wanting to end the fight before 5 others from another server show up.
