After two weeks, CoSA Sorrow’s Furnace can go back in taking empty defended keeps with their superior numbers skills/tactics… If someone intent to roam this week, I’d suggest you to bring friends. You know the oposition is going to be big.
In the other hand, we have Kaineng and Eredon Terrace fighting for second. Kaineng is comming for a rematch while ET is struggling to not be last alone (a victory of ET over Kaineng would mean a tie in the last place, as none of the two have chance for a 2nd next week)… That mean there will be a lot of moaning about being double teamed we’ll have a fun week.

I think everyone needs to dedicate their turkeys to the slain guild formally known as cosa. Happy Thanks giving peeps.
Let’s make a CoTA (Core of Turkey Alliance)
I’m King SMC is mine
seriously, can we just call it ET-SF-Kaineng?
I agree with mooncow

SF learned a lot from HoD’s superior tactics. After all, those T1 xfers at a discounted price sure upped their level of play and they crushed our tactics especially during Week 5. They really regrouped and executed well that week. Week 4 was a night coverage game more than anything where we auto-lose obviously. I think facing almost similar tactics took them by surprise that first week.
So now we’re stuck facing two teams that use no tactics. Where was IoM anyways? I didn’t even see them on reset. Did they just go back to the IoM on Blackgate?
(I saw a Kaineng wallhack twice yesterday, was quite sad to watch actually because we wiped their group both times, once with significantly lower numbers (20 vs 35), once with vastly superior numbers (50 vs 15). Why not report them? because nothing will be done anyways and his character isn’t worth the 1 Mb of space on my HDD)
I think this is more an issue of numbers, not tactics.
actually i think its both. without tactics numbers just becomes an unorganized mob that if faced by a group using tactics, will wipe. i’m not saying that numbers dont help, because they really do… but you also need to have tactics to keep those numbers from wiping. just my opinion though
Great fight in ET Garrison guys! Not sure how you guys managed to come up with some much freaking supply, but it was good times!!!
lol. Loving the spamming of emotes outside Sunnyhill tower in KBL by CoSa. Stay classy my SF friends
If SF make a WP in one of our keeps each day, we’ll be done for the week by the monday…
SF Home BL #2 (aka ET BL) is feeling very comfy this afternoon. Thanks for the great fight at your Garri earlier!
seriously, can we just call it ET-SF-Kaineng?

yes
I saw some really good tactics going on by SF a second ago when they were holding that +400ppt. I was truly blown away and learned a thing or two about this game

Kaineng removed ALL your WPs…

isnt sf just number and zergs. That could be your only tactic i think. sf zerg 1,‘’WE GETTIN PWNT HALP!!!" sf zerg 2,"we’re coming!’’
and thats the story of sorrows furnace. The end.
lultacticslul sf and tactic cant go in one sentence its not possible. Its said its forbidden for that to exist.
I agree with Mosharn… You guys were good on week 4 because you had everyone on the game still thinking you could win the league. At week 5, you fairweather base gave up and you lost most of your number (thus why your week 5 was horrendous).
Numbers dictates this game. No tactics can win a matchup against a server that can easily overwhelm you.
In other words: ET can even try Blackgate tactics, but if SF just come and zerg us with big numbers and no tactics at all we’ll still lose.
(edited by Jeknar.6184)
Is there going to be a fightclub at all this week? roamings been pretty meh so far just been lots of people running cause they cant fight or calling for help.

I thought that too, but then when I went in I looked and it wasn’t the case at all. Even the 5man guilds were still in there. However, part of the difference was that a few someones convinced a the main EBG commanders to not command pugs in EBG for the week since we still have a ton of noobs who don’t obey. They wanted to show those noobs that if they don’t get on VoIP, they’re not helping us.
It kind of worked, but not to the extent they had planned. To be honest, if it got rid of several fair-weathers, SF is only stronger for it. We don’t need them. Nothing is worse than seeing EBG get dismantled and then trying to get a guild in and hitting 1h-2h queues.
Quite frankly though, having to go up against T3 keeps every day when waking up against a team with Tier 1 tactics becomes quite pointless when Monday hits. Against SF at least, once the 4h prime-time is over, you can paper everything again with little to no resistance.
I still don’t get where IoM is? Did they quit on you guys? They were what was most fun about ET since at least they could bring a fight.

There is sPvP. But that is balanced, maybe it’s why you prefer WvW.

were still here, i would just say its tough when your getting over whelmed and single targeted by one server from the very beginning. You guys managed to stem and cut off our advancement right from reset night by taking Hills, Bay, and Garri. IOM is still here and still fighting but it dose lower out moral and incentive allot when ET is the main focus of SF whereas Kaeining gets a free trip. Yet again ET is shut down just last week we had Ferg let AR take there borderlands just so they can beat us. This just my personal opinion anyways, but IOM will not stop fighting i can assure you that.

We were in Kaineng, had everything there for a while on reset, but as our numbers go to sleep, their numbers log in. On ET, I must say, you had a lot more players before the season started than you have now. I suggest you support the stronger server by only attacking the 2nd place server to keep it clear that WvW is not working as Anet intended, but that is your choice of course.
I spvp alot actually i just prefer wvw, theres lots of room to move around and im not crammed onto a single point on the map and Junkhaus i will pm you later when im done pve fun times.

When I was rolling in ET BL with a STAR group that had maybe 15 people, we went to north camp and fought vs ET basically for nearly 30min. They had well over 25 and kept running back into the fight. We had I think a total of two downs over the course of 30 min(one of them was a low level anyway), and our bags were all full.
This is a thing apparently…

I’m really glad you learned to express your opinion, and Imma let you finish, but SF manhandled your BL yesterday and you should get better instead of whining about it.

After getting together all 6 able-bodied WvW players, we tried for 3 hours to take back any of our keeps, but your blob of 40+ would track us down and wipe.
Switched to your borderlands, where us 6 once again tried to take a camp and then a keep, but it turns out you -also- have a 30+ zerg on your borderlands!
Took the 6 to Kain’s border then, and took some camps before finding out that even with the numbers you have in the other two maps, an entirely separate guild is rolling around Kain’s with 20 dudes as well.
Numbers are tactics, and thus, you are the superior players.

Except I was roaming around in SF BL majority of the night and we could barely muster up a force of 10-15 to defend anything. I think CoSA came to home BL for like…. 45 minutes before they left again? Of course they came after we called out the 20-25 ET zerg that capped the entire south half of our BL plus hills and NE tower when we were nearly empty at home.
They did make quick work of those guys though.
Either you had terrible timing or you make some funny jokes.
You did make me giggle though.
P.S: Shout out to SOL and OBEY. Had some fun brawls with you guys last night before bed. I was the [Ash] Charr. Hope to see you guys more often.

So one instance of us getting people online and taking some things for, what, the 2 hours before you crushed it again in 24 hours of trying to play all day.
Either you are deliberately missing my point, or the other 22 hours of the day don’t exist. This is -exactly- why the low pop. sucks, we have a window of 10pm to midnight where people are actually online and we can do anything.

Wow, 20 ET? I’m flattered you thought we had that many :P We took hills with 2 golems and maybe 6 people escorting, but I have to say it was fun farming SF for the next 3 hours even though you had 3 times as many. Next time you should use your superior tactics to build more siege, maybe more omegas to take the south west camp, lol.

Its been so boring that I don’t even feel to forum fight aswell… I guess it’s time to quit GW2 again.
I think in EVERY match up thread since the start of time against ET has been them complaining about our numbers and our T1 transfers. I’m still really waiting to see something new from you guys, but we never do. Also, I’m still waiting to find out who we got that were T1 transfers? I’d really like to know this so we can thank them for the lack of help they’ve been providing due to hiding in the shadows of non existence.

Who the kitten said you got T1 transfers? All I said is that SF outnumbers us (which you cannot deny), and that you can roll easily over anything because of that.
L2Read before you post.
Dude, settle. I wasn’t stating that YOU said anything in specific. I’m saying that this is what has been happening since the start. Should we stop and tell people from our server to not come into WvW because we are playing ET? Use your brain, that won’t happen. Yes we have numbers, but if you run into a group of StaR, you are unlikely running into MASS numbers (unless we are running a pug group). You are running into a well thought out group of players who work well together. I’m sorry if you are being rolled over, but we aren’t about to tell half our server to stay in PvE to make ET feel better and stop complaining about our numbers.
(edited by SyntheticIrony.1823)
Lets get down to this, people whine about the numbers, yes we have people, what are we to do about it, more importantly what can we do? Ask people not to play, or Im sorry we’ll have 3 of us sit out so we accomodate you, and fight with even numbers? Fat chance, I’m here to play the game whether it means Im taking five people to kill two, to get the objective, or Im fighting ten with my five for an objective, and if I died, well I guess I’m running back for another try, because WHINING doesn’t change a thing.

Same goes for the rest of the major guilds in SF (ICC, LH, LORD, CoSA). Some guilds obviously run with more than others but even the largest generally only peak at 25-30 and even then, that’s only when they’ve called in everyone from other maps to push/hold a major objective.
If anyone on kaineng or et who ISNT running some cheese cond/perplexity build wants to have some fights this week pm me. Oh and to the war i just fought that first fight was great to bad the engi had to ruin it afterwards.

Lol, I run antitoxin runes. Which, btw, aren’t perplexity! Who knew!
Also, PU phantasm is pretty cheese.

All 10 members of [DZ] wanted to say you’re a mean person for not including us in this list.
Errbody knows DZ zergs down objectives, gazes lovingly at PPT, and spends badges on siege. We are pro PV-wallers, we do damage to RI’d lords, and if we ever left SF you would have considerable less sentry points to show for it!
Im not a phantasm mesmer lol and that confusion on interupt was totally not perplexity.

You realize I have a pull, and a skill that applies 5 confusion on the same kit, right?

It wasn’t perplexity.
S/S + Staff mesmer with prismatic understanding. Hmm, not phantasm. Obviously not.
Shatter mesmer with the following traits 0/20/20/0/30 just because a mes uses stealth doesnt mean they are useing pu, and there was alot more then just 5 confusion when you interupted me. Not gona respond anymore i doubt anyone wants to watch us argue.
