I wouldn’t mind having ACs removed from the game while they are so overpowered, but not being able to build any catapults and rams severely punishes small teams (I am talking about groups of less than 10). Taking down one reinforced door or wall without any siege takes way too long time. Enough time for that huge SFR blob to arrive.

Thus this is the perfect patch to favor those who have larger numbers. Yes, I know that golems work, but if you have just 2-3 players on your side and enemy has 20-30, golems are not that realistic option either.

Basically much more players = guaranteed win.

big thanx to all duellists from kodash and deso who fought with us yesterday east of stonemist for a couple of hours and thanx to all who passed by without interfering!

Desolation? unhappy that lose to us? We told you we run in guilds but yeah our guilds are bigger than yours. you lost most of your guilds. we have our russians in the morning and our primetime. We always have at least 2 comanders on map,guilds run without commanders tags to be able to run alone. And if you play only EB… Ok eb is our pug map on the server noone of major guilds play there lately only con go for 1-2 days a week. You cry we blob you with 30-40? it is guild run we want to play as guild so ?! We have to split our guild raids now because they are too big for you ?

We are learning, we hope that one day the great Vizunah Square will see us as equals and we can all dance around a camp fire singing great songs about or blobs(which we will deny the day after)

I think it’s unfair to call a guild raid with 30-40 people a blob. That is simply a large guild group. It becomes a blob when there are multiple guilds running together and you have to question why do this? Are you so unskilled that you need to rely on another guild to carry you?

INVI had close to 30 people last night on Kodash and then SFR borders, which is a fair number yet we struggled to do anything because SFR (and you have admitted this yourselves) blobbed the hell out of us. Fair play to OSC and Fry, initially it was clever what you were doing, but we stupidly fell for it over and over again. However, the rest were just ridiculous and resulted in a very boring evening of WvW.

At one point the SFR blob was just staying around Greenlake and Water. Every time myself and only one or two others went to re-cap Water, 50+ SFR would come running along. What’s the point?

So please, if you are a guild group then just try to do your own thing because it is simply not fun constantly having 50+ blobs of multiple guild groups chasing you. It’s not even fun being in a blob, there’s no skill or challenge involved.

omg I expected a lot of whining from deso kodash about bloobing but please keep it down:D

of course we lost everything except keep in eb at night because we had 2 other servers mad that had been farmed for how many hours? 5+?

and if GoD is so proud to farm sfr how come they got wiped by even number zerg(randoms) 5-6 times before they got numbers to beat us then we just called in a guild or two and GoD was back being wiped again.

all I see atm is kids that are mad they got wiped soo many funny times yesterday so they try to do 2v1 and failing to do so

It’s so fun seeing people trying to justify zerging saying X people are not a zerg/blob. Zerging/blobbing just mean to try to win a fight with sheer numbers, even if you have just 10 people if you assault a lone player with them you are still disregarding any other tactics and trying to win with your numbers so basically zerging it.
Also i don’t see what’s bad about it… We all know that’s how GW2 works, people zerg because it’s still the best strategy to use even more when ac can’t be placed. The siege bug was indeed “fun” it took the game down to his basic, no strategy just zerg and it wasn’t that bad. The only downside was that the bigger zerg was the one that was going to win at the end and good for SFR that actually had the bigger one and was able to keep the superiority pretty much everywhere.

Btw i really lolled at what you said Wemil, “Deso saw us fighting with Kodash for SM and decided to backstab us”. What you expect? Both your opponents are busy attack the target that is more important and of course is the one of the server that at the moment is dominating. Then things don’t always goes as planned so don’t worry doubt someone care about SFR enough to make an alliance with Koadsh =P

Hi Scanz , last night when we saw INVI around we OSC really wanted to have a proper fight with you guys . We tried several time to badge off and port to warcamp in order to have the right numbers . After engaging you couple of time in numeric advance due to the randoms still following us we left sfr border cause it was no fun for us and unfair for you =)

lol i never said we need 3 guild to beat GOD, there are lots of guild waiting for GvG challange, so go accept all of them, hope you guys don’t end like the WL match 8-0 to WL

I said the russians had their guild raid on the same map, I never said they need to team up or cry on map chat for help against 20 GODs.. I would laugh so hard if i ever see ZDs, Rise or Iddq ask for help on map chat agianst 20 GODs, even the pug zerg would accept the challange.. I have to admit the pug raids got wiped most of the times against GODs n the PuGs do win a few battles, but hey it’s a PuG zerg nothing to be proud of, just thank them for the bags, all want to have a fun fight

You guys are good n really fun to fight, but you have some funny trolls think they r good as VoTF GH DEX , prolly the toughest Deso guilds to fight for our SFR PuG raids.

I laugh more at the ‘Vizuna mode’ , i though they said it was only SFR players who QQ about blobs,night morning cap, golem rush when others are outmanned n etc

1) IddQd plays with Rise very often (we 2 are like big russian family), but NEVER with ZDs.

2) When we have guild raid – NOONE of our commanders puts tag on so we can drop the pugs. Smtimes they still stacks coz they see force in numbers – teleporting helps much. Now we’re all on our kneels saying sorry for being big guild.

Feel free considering us a blob. Nobody cares.

Thanks for those who fought with me at Deso BL this afternoon. We started with 0% map control and being outmanned. And that is right moment for me to take command. We wiped OSC (from SFR) multiple times and Kodash got to feel our wrath as well (after that morning 4xsiege golem train from Kodash). We got garrison as well. Nice battles there at both Sunnyhill + Cragtop + Garrison. Fair fights from all.

I don’t blame SFR for blobbing, makes them much easier targets for all those ’nades.

My reaction when checking this thread again after a couple of days:

The great Troma will lead us to victory!
There is a rumor going on in Lions arch that with Troma as our grand commander that we are going to split in groups of 2 people in WvW.
Then surround our enemies and all jump them at the same time.

I was so happy that OSC transfered to sfr. I was looking forward to meet them again after they really impressed me when we met them 5 weeks after release or so and tought they were really good.
