Honestly comanded the defensive force on sfr bl. Js really defending and moving in 1 big blob, is it fun ? and so many arrow carts from the two enemy servers. God really hope Anet change them soon. It is insane to see 100 man blob build 5+ ac in paper tower for 2 mins just to defend it. Epic fight in garrison. I wanted to take hills or bay but yeah home map everybody push you.But we did nice holding our part of map.

And guys we have fun this t2 but pls dont blob why you do it? I have 30 man on ts with me and we had 2-3 smaller guilds raids,made me get 60 on me just to defend garrison and to fight your big groups. Big groups are not fun having lag and skill delay is annoying.

Nice fighting yesterday on Kodash BL, even if we didn’t saw that much of kodash.

Best was seeing JS breaching their BL Bay with like 2-3 times our defenders, get in inner and THERE build AC.

When they could have just run in the middle bashing their head on keyboard and still win with simple numbers. : D

U really thought any decent commander would rush without thinking into a keep def by 500 supply worth of AC ? U’re the funny one.

btw, on Jade we ban every zoomhacker even if they are CM or whatever. We are extremely rigid on this so if you got complain, post a proof, we will investigate and do what we have to do. That’s our policy.

Btw, i didn’t say you SHOULD have rushed in lord room.

Just that with 3 times the defender numbers, you COULD have taken out 90% of the acs simply by walking on them with minimal losses too (3 on wall, walk up the stairs and wipe them. 3 were in lord room, simple usual cleaning around the circle and voilà), instead of seeing the JS zerg stopping and gathering around a single AC with so few defenders as opposition…unless your guys play in non-tanky gear, but that’s another topic.

I didn’t meant (actually, i fail to see how that post was so flaming) to upset you, eh.

Pro tip: Take some risks sometimes, it make wvw much more enjoyable.
(protip n°2: taking some risk =/= lerooy suicide)

Indeed, a lot of our guys are in PvE gear and die from squishiness. T-T

But thank to [DEX], we are on our way to resolve this issue. I’m sure you’ve already seen that we run mostly Pug zerg and our squishyness come from here. So our CM have learned to be carefull while leading. They know more or less what’s their guys can endure and they (try/)act to deal with it.

And perhaps, sometime it’s strategic to delay an attack. It could be at your own advantage or not. Let’s say we are attacking a tower that we know, we can’t defend, just for mere reset or point gain. We will surely try to cap it while having the 5 minutes invul timer matching the point timer.

Honestly let me make something clear. We dont want to go T1 we don’t care for js pushing for t1. We have fun we know we lack a day guild or two and a night guild. If we push we hold night pretty well but no point to do it. And noone on our server is raging. It is just funny you know see 100 people go for a paper tower ect. As on the reset night you opened 2 towers for us with trebs from supply camps And yeah I was guilty we took it instead of you. It was all happening on sfr bl:

Just to be clear, JS is not pushing for anything. We just play our best in each match up we got. That’s our one and only rule.

Screenshots of PvD actions at 02:30 in the morning are the best way to show who the stronger server is. Any WvW player knows that beating down doors is the ultimate challenge in this game.

This pretty much sums up my experience with Jade Sea so far.
So I’m just roaming around in Jade Sea border, probably max 5 players from SFR in the entire map and one guy starts to follow me. I’m like, lets take over this tower for the lulz. It was filled with Jade Sea players so it was more of a boredom thing.

1. So we set up a catapult and we both knew that two players was just not enough to build it. But I really just wanted to see what would happen.
To my surprise, the ~15 Jade Sea that were in the tower, none of them actually came to attack us. They instead built a catapult inside the tower that tried to take out ours.
I was literally mind waffled over it and their catapult was incapable of reaching it.

Next they built an arrowcart and tried to reach it with that as well, to no good.
Before we actually started to build the catapult, four of them did come out to try and kill us but they went down really quick. So as silly as it may seem (and probably was) it felt like they were too afraid to face two players.

2. So after a while of guarding our unfinished catapult and tons of Jade Sea players in the towers watching us as they try to reach it with their siege. A wave of Jade Sea come right at us from behind to destroy the catapult. I’d imagine their chat would be something like:

Guy 1: We need help at tower! Two guys are building a catapult and we need help!
Guy 2: We’re on our way! Do not try to panic, help is on the way!

Long story short, they zerg our poor unfinished catapult and I run away and I’m wondering what just happened.

Not 3h, mostly 2. Last week we were defending our objects all night long starting from mid of the week (bet you have noticed it), but now we are resting. Till tomorrow, probably.
Next time at 7 am (4 am gmt) I will screen your blobby blob inside our eb keep. Keep fighting, lads, Vizunah is waiting for you!

Sfr speaking about zerg and nightcapping … while you were one of the worst server doing this…

Anyway, it’s always funny to see when a server it’s not the first, crying because "french / canadian / french canadian / hebrew canadian / nightcapping / morning capping / aftermoon capping / pre prime capping / russian zerg / …. but when this same serv become first, it’s only because he is so skilled ( and make 0 nightcapping ofc, it’s bad thing ) vs the 2 other noob serv… Always the same bullkitten since the launch ….

Thanks to Umia Moonblade for the great duel on Kodash’s borderlands. Lot of fun.

I like Kodash’s playstyle, they were split in 2-3 groups yesterday morning-daytime and constantly attacking our objects. So much run and fun! Not like predictable JS zerg: hey, scout, do you have an outmanned buff? Here comes the Jade Sea!

After … 12 weeks (?) matching with Jade we know how Jade wins. Don’t take my words personally Jade.
Actually, during EU primetime we just fight with SFR on Jade Border.
And I think everybody of us actually knows how you “win” the system … And pure blobbing and nightshifts along with “Players vs Doors” are unbelievable boring.

At least fights against SFR are really A LOT of fun since its not pure mapzerg-blobbing.

@ZDs: I think I know you from Far Shiverpeaks – You were also playing over there while the server was in T1, didn’t you?

Nice fighting again yesterday evening on Kodash BL . As usual kodash didn’t do anything , but we had great fun against SFR, keep it coming.

Btw you can whine all you want on our night cap, we still have a pretty decent prime time. What do you have kodash ? Oh yeah, nothing but PvD. You only manage to cap something when the 2 others serv fight each other. That the only reason you stayed in T2 that long, because ER and JS was busy fighting each other. Lauching 5 guy attack everywhere until we get bored of running to kill you. Great play style.

You really shouldn’t criticize Kodash’s playstyle. Yes they are undermanned, so what? At least their small groups make for a nice change of pace from map-blobs.

Last week we were only seeing “amazing T2 is so much fun, We love this tier so much”. What change? I realy doubt JS change is playstyle, Kodash were almost inexistent and so they are.
You know, I’ve stop wvw ‘til thursday cause on JS we were dying of boredom searching for someone to fight. Opening empty door ain’t fun, Kodash was way stronger with elona by his side. Where are you? I’ve ran on your bl while having the Ubuff and when i finally encounter one of you, he had also this buff.
And SFR, is this what you want? You will certainly die from boredom going against outmanned serveur.

Kodash have great roamers. In roam, they are far beyond Elona or every serveur JS had to go against. But they were blobing to before. Since Elona goes up, it just feel that Kodash lost 1/3rd of their manpower. I really don’t think your problem is nightcapping.

It’s a game. It should be fun. If it’s not fun for one of you just turn off your computer for a while. That’s what I’m doing. No need to flame or complain.

Kodash is still the underdog in T2. Often outnumbered. But we’re used to it. We always trying to give you a good fight!
Yesterday was great. We reddened our Kodash homelands during the morning hours. SFR fought back. We kicked their kittens on Jades’ borderland during prime-time. (At least that’s how it felt ) Just awesome!
Today we’re showing you how our off-time-crew usually feels.
In particular I salute to our night shift. They’re doing an even greater job than the other commanders and players we have!
Most certainly Jade will go up to T1. And they deserve it. In my opinion Jade puts up a much better fight than when our match-ups started. And Kodash and SFR both just don’t have the 24/7 coverage to stop them.
I’m already looking forward to meet Deso on the battleground. Hope they’ll teach us some new tactics, too. We’re willing to learn (even the hard way).

Since Elona goes up, it just feel that Kodash lost 1/3rd of their manpower. I really don’t think your problem is nightcapping.

Indeed we lost some great WvW-guilds (e.g. ADAC, CE, LC) during the last week of the Elona/Jade/Kodash-Matchup. Their manpower is still missed on the battlefields. But I think we’re recovering from this loss really soon.

The guilds who left Kodash (to Abaddon’s Mouth – not to Elona btw.) in the last week of the Elona – Jade – Kodash – matchup made up quite a significant amount of our dedicated WvW guilds. I’d say our “big guild” WvW – playerbase shrinked by ~ 25% to 35% due to the exodus.

While Kodash still has a lot of capable small to medium scale groups as well as bigger WvW guilds (KoA et al.) we are still feeling the loss. Random-zergs are simply not as effective as guild-groups, especially when facing opponents who outnumber you on a regular basis.

The biggest problem Kodash has though, is the huge discrepancy in prime-time / non-prime-time player-numbers. Between 19:00 and 22:00 CET (leisure time in Germany) we do okay – apart from that it’s (at best) fewer numbers on EB, even fewer numbers on our homeland and [outmanned] everywhere else.

At the end of the day, what makes a server win or lose in WvW is simply manpower coverage. Good tactics, a nice community, voice communication usage and capable players/guilds sure do help, but players tend do overestimate their own servers in this regard and underestimate the adversary. And because these “soft” factors are more or less equally distributed on all servers with a certain dedication to WvW, it’s the number of players during all hours a server can bring to the table which makes the difference.

did a CvC in a game called eve online if your heard of it just a fun 60 vs 60 and suddently a friendly corporation pop up kill them what do we do? well we leave the alliance and kill them for it. isn’t a risk KoA might get mad at you and leave? dunno how much they love their server but I would do that instantly lol-.-

The problem is: Queue.
We got a wiedly accepted eventcalendar where commanders announce their public raids.
People who planed to join that border didn’t know about that GvG … it wasn’t announced in the community at all. It would’ve been much more tolerated by the map community and the commander on Jade Border if such an event would’ve been announced.
Especially Jade Border having the biggest queue every evening during primetime on Kodash. I can understand that reaction though I respect fair fights as 1vs1 or 5vs5 and so on.

KoA knew that this commander – with a pretty huge community along with a whole guildcluster – was leading during the primetime.

Since I know that commander pretty good I can tell that he wouldn’t care if you “hunt him down”. Its just a game, dude.
