SBI has had some true Moments of Awesome during this match. I fear that AR and BP will feel as if they have traded one monster for another by this time next week.

I’m also stoked for Ebay. They have weeks of pent-up frustration and in my experience, servers moving up a tier never gun for Blue. SoS BL is going to be a madhouse and I’m going to love every minute of it!

Well no need for worry. They are doing the new matchmaking system tonight. So two or all of us may actually still be together.

Yup, Devon just stated that they will be implementing it today but we will not know who is in the new match ups beforehand. Makes reset a bit more interesting. Would love to get SBI/Ebay/CD.

also, I don’t blame you for getting out of dodge… it’s a toxic community down there full of people either not helping just to troll you when you fail or just being nasty in map chat … or my favorite, telling the enemy commanders where your tag is

the fights are great and you can really hone your skills but it grinds on you

CD is a fantastic community so I don’t foresee any problems here and we are loving the move so far

Out of curiosity, why would you guys decide to move to ET in the first place?

LOL. Report from EU side is that they are all in same tier match ups. Not sure if NA will see the same or if the tweaking Devon mentioned happened in time for us to get the new randomized setup and not EU.

I was not a part of that discussion so I can not provide a detailed answer except for we got tired of running into 100 man zergs.

Thaaat said… if you guys really want to get more even number fights you should stop trying to withdraw, stealth, and then dogpile on overextending stragglers whenever people finally gather enough random people together to push. I mean sure it’s a completely valid strategy which works and all, but it’s not exactly the sign of wanting even fights ;-)

Just straight up jumping into a fight without tactics isn’t really the best plan. We have our methods of fighting larger groups. Really the only reason you might see us re-position ourselves is if we know there’s an enemy zerg in a certain area and we don’t want to engage an even group knowing that we’re gonna get pinched. Meanwhile, while moving, we have our thieves assassinate some of your group members and then proceed to reengage from a new direction.

Join your fellow players on voice comm and try to get a group running together. It makes it so much easier…

So Devon, and don’t take this as any slight against him, just posted that they have no idea how the rankings will play out….

One of the things I hope they would/will do is that if they get a rare 3 tier mismatch (ie CD vs JQ vs Darkhaven) that they would hit “re-roll” to make sure that no such abusive matches occur.

I’m stoked for this match, with ORL proving to be a great addition and FoE back in the fold, I’m no longer worried about any of the T3 servers (not saying it will be easy, but it will be a closer matchup).

Now if we just avoid the T2 folks, this could prove to be a good thing.

I am so jealous of the EU servers now. It’s a complete battle royale with servers fighting themselves! I really hope we get a taste of that.

I know, right? They’re fighting their server mates, their guilds are tagless, and it’s absolute chaos with like 12 different servers fighting each other on the same map, and there’s no tick for half the match-ups right now because it isn’t working. Brilliant!

I just couldn’t resist saying this, PVE people miss out on so much…..

Reset again and now they have a tier 7 server versus tier 3/4 servers, lulz!!! Time to make a sacrifice to the RNG gods. Spill all asurian blood in hopes for a balanced match up.

Now that is simply irrational my friend. There is relatively little blood per asura; now if you were to go norn – you might observe much better results!

I kinda wish we had the option to face ourselves, it would be a great scrimmage and the best server-wide training ever!

I really really hope the chaos happening in the EU tiers right now make it to us. Everything would be messed up but it would be fun.

I agree, I saw some post about the same server fighting in three different tiers. Don’t really care if we get matched up with a tier 1/2 server because the chaos would be too much fun.

One problem which this random matchup will solve is PVEers migrating to whichever server has the biggest lead for PVE buffs.

With a couple of minor things on the field today “cough cough” you guys in sos did a great job in following me around today. appreciate it, lets look forward to another great week of fights. We have some tough competition so please everyone work together to get stuff done. ego only gets so far. have a great reset night
