Not sure what you mean without some context, but SF fully expected IoJ’s night/oceanic crew to be at work this week. As long as they are hitting both sides equally it should be fine, if they are focusing solely on SF then this week will probably play out like the last 2 have.

Either way nothing SF can do about oceanic coverage beyond paying for oceanic mercs, etc.

Can’t fault the PVdooring, can’t earn a +50PPT with people actually on, so if we gotta give up points I am fine with giving them to IoJ. I am also guessing DH had much more of a resistance than us.

I keep asking people to quit their jobs and play all night but they just call me mean names.

A tad bit late on this, but I would like to give KING and i believe i saw Cosa and a couple other guilds out there props. You guys stuck around and continued to attack Redlake in DH Borderlands for 2 and a half hours. I was commanding that whole thing, it was completely ridiculous! You guys just kept coming! There were a couple times where i didn’t believe we would of held it but we did. Once again, good job to you SF. It was a fun night indeed, I’m sure your people had fun because we know we did

lol Had to comment since I tend to be a silent reader but watch and play WvW a lot at times. We weren’t flipping umber last night, in face we were all leave IOJ alone for the most part. We would flip the orges and I’m told they flipped the camp. I KNOW the dredge can flip a camp all by themselves, so it is possible. The only time I went hmmm was when Orge tower kept getting hit and we kept getting trebled by ioj on SM from Durios. Then again it’s part of the game. XD Even then my orders was keep our stuff and maybe take Durios to get down that treb. Then check with the more popular commanders and such on anything more.

That’s just my two cents and what I was seeing. I would love if we can keep pushing together though. winks

We had a lot of fun at that tower, although I think you guys went a little overboard with those endless breakouts. Taking on KING, the SF pugs, and Siegerazor…? Sure, what’s a little champion smacking around the tower for good measure…

In other news, I was looking through the screencaps to find a good one to post and what do I see lurking in the corner of this one, but a wee IOJ taking down our siege on the side. The amount of coordination I’ve seen this weekend between the two servers to take down our siege is pretty commendable, if that’s the word you want to use. We’ll set up on center island to hit IOJ, and SF will come up the back to take it down. We’ll throw some defensive siege up on a tower in SF BL, and IOJ comes to build an AC to take it down. Now if you guys could channel that coordination the rest of the week, and within your own servers, this matchup would have been a lot more exciting these past 3 weeks.

Been a pretty fun weekend guys, thanks for saving us from being tier locked with Ehmry Bay. :P All in all, good practice for us, fending off 2 fronts. Word on the street is that ratings system will change to become more volatile in the coming weeks, so hopefully things will get shuffled about. Good show.

I am having a blast! I even ran into my friend above here^ Lord Kael in Rogues quarry. From the looks of how the score was overnight, I think IoJ is a real powerhouse PPT-wise and can easily win every week if they want to, lol! Great job everyone!

Either from the extensive 4 months worth of screenshots presented to Anet in the ticket, or because it costs too much to transfer just to afk & auto-heal at the enemy wp’s all day.

Karma may require some work to get, but when it makes its way around…it can be a capital B. /laff

We’re not that low mate. Check our history, if IoJ was savvy to any tactic like that I think we would’ve done it back in t2….not 5 months later after we tumbled and finally stabilized in t6. 3/4 of IoJ Commanders work together and/or talk to each other on a regular basis. After what we’ve had to deal with in the past with the same suspicions, I can assure you that none of the Commanders or major WvW guilds would ever consider something so sloppy.

Take screenshots, build your album, file a ticket. Four months of in game tickets did nothing, a single ticket on this site fixed the problem quick.

We have watched your questionable camera angles for a few weeks now, and I personally have a couple of questions for you. Do you at least stay til the chest drops when you get your boss zooms?

Also do you tell your MZ (thats mindless zerg for those that never did time in T8), what you are really commanding them to speed build those ACs for?

Because I wonder if they would waste their time/supply to help you speed build AC after AC so you could simply try to farm badges (IE: kill players with your camera angles).

Just letting the DH folks know that if you follow this kid and seem to be not getting some success, it is likely because he is too concerned with trying to PoV some AC kills rather than capturing the objective. 4 times last night I watched him assault an SF tower, and 4 times he failed. As all 4 he had you guys speed build ACs, to which he shot at players within the tower and for the most part never touched our siege. While I built AC after AC and killed your rams. At Anz he had you build 2 carts because I killed his first one. Not sure how effective he is at commanding (maybe he is great), but figured you guys should know that he is using his camera for his own gain rather than anything for DH, for the most part that is.

Also please tell him to trait some toughness as he routinely got downed by upscales last night.

Well, after my 3-4 week break from GW2 I logged in yesterday for some real WvW action and boy did I get it! Had a ton of fun taking SM and working the DH corner for a bit.

Isle figures it can trounce you down the stretch…so they make a deal that sounds good to SF " hey lets double team darkhaven , it will be awesome and ponies will fall from the clouds" Isles only intention was to get through reset weekend when they are awful. Hoping the double team would put DH far back in third , then Isle can pull SF during the week for the win.

Any “alliance” is going to have that factor. It’s clear that the majority of IoJ doesn’t look kindly towards said alliance regardless though, as we are still nightcapped by them. But in the end, anything that get’s SF and IoJ to focus on DH is a win in my book. It’s more fun to see the scores closer together. Don’t get your panties in a twist, you’re the leader of the tier whether you’re currently winning the match or not, it paints a giant red target that is hard to pass up, (especially when it’s made so easy to hit).

Also, dat zoomhaven, luls. I’ve never seen those zoom tools used in such excess before, too funny that you think you need them.

To be honest, we expected nothing less. All 3 teams should be playing for first, and no alliance is permanent. Do what makes sense to get your team higher is the name of the game. DH was dominating our 2 servers, so we teamed up on them to get them down. Now that DH is below us, (Hopefully they still are; I haven’t been on since last night) we go back to the free-for-all mindset. Nothing new there.

Looks like our tier is the most competitive this week so I think its a win win win for the tier. I finally finished the jumping puzzle in southsun and will be in wvw tonight looking for a fight to relieve my frustrations.

Dat [GRIM], always 1v1+x’ing my while I run around solo. But as a fellow victim of the abuse garnered from the Southsun jumping puzzle, you have my sympathies.

Heat-Vent survivors support group meets up on Fridays around reset times, usually ends up in most of us slaughtering each other though, the emotional conditioning and torture has wreaked havoc upon our ability to deal civilly with one another.

To everyone else, you now understand the reasoning behind WvW.

Our goal wasn’t to CAP for XP. Since SF barely had numbers in their borderlands, we might as well hold it for as long as possible. We managed to hold Bay (the last keep we lost) for about 8 ticks. I strongly believe if we had went to IoJ’s BL and helped you out, we wouldn’t have gotten as much points as we did.

Never before have I seen 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places switch hands so many times. What an epic week.

It’s pretty unlikely that we will be seeing them in the next couple weeks. We still have a decent gap between us and Anvil Rock. If you’re counting on the new system ANet has mentioned which should shuffle things up a bit, I think it’s just as likely for Ebay to go up as it is for us to go up, in which case we would also not see them.

I am also curious about what they intend to do with this new matchup system.
