Whatever happens, I’ve always said DH deserves a better match up. No one likes being farmed for badges (IoJ when DH & DR were in this tier). And I think you guys moving on in life would be great for your server. All of our servers really. Whatever happens…good games. Best of luck. We’re all gonna need it depending on how this system works out.

I honestly HOPE we get into a tier with DR and another t7-8 server, the way were are playing now, i would love to see how that matchup turns out.

We have another week together to say goodbye

I understand the new ranking system is probably best for everyone, but I’ll be sad to leave this matchup. I think IoJ was finally in a place where we had a chance to compete for first, and I’ve had a lot of fun running with a few others having camp skirmishes over the past couple of weeks.

Actually, now that I think about it, since I bought the game in late January, IoJ hasn’t placed first.

:( I’m going to miss the real Mr. Sunrise from IoJ, not that SF wannabe. All my sadness.

Ours has another character, warrior just like this one, with Twilight…Thats right you heard me, he is so epic that instead of making eternity he just runs two characters with the same look and class only light(sunrise)/dark (twilight).

I say that I want no part of this Kumbaya after how IOJ treated us in their BL last night. We were having a peaceful guild meeting near the bridge of the south supply camp and right in the middle of a sentence I get a sword right where the “sunrise” won’t even shine. If this is how you say hello, then no thank you for a good bye kiss!!!

Seriously our guild has had a great time fighting you guys and i’m sure that next week won’t be the last time we face off.

You can see over the gate and that’s all you need for dragon’s tooth and AC’s. If you build an arrow cart by the gate and look through the gap with range on the AC you can hit the lord room easy.

I am not sure when you took that but could of been me because I was using an arrow cart outside the gate yesterday in IOJ on that tower. I was playing on a PO"kitten" 19 inch monitor. I do have arrow cart buffs for distance and damage.

Here’s a dragon’s tooth from my view too. I suppose that space on top of the gate is the key. Cool!

PS: On the Palace topic, I don’t think he liked it that I took him out twice in a row. He likes to hide behind supply camp NPCs, but in the open field, he’s fairly manageable.

I got late too, I couldn’t help but cry when I saw those words coming from that name, will save this image for future generations of WvW’ers :’)

Sadly, the game has been frustrating to play for me since around the time they introduced the API.

Its not unplayable in the technical definition of the word, but things have gotten ultra-funky.

Hope the issue isnt TOO widespread and y’all are still enjoying it! Im looking forward to when the issues alleviate, but until then.. adieu!

So, for science, I tried placing an AC right @ the Aldon’s tower door and another AC inside to be my dummy target….just normal gameplay. The screenshot function doesn’t save my AC’s crosshairs so I took a photo with my phone to show how far I can target with the AC range buff using points. Whaddayaknow, that gap above the gate DOES work!

PS: the clearer photo is an actual game screenshot where I ran in to see the arrows on the ground.

The gap is not a secret. It’s just people not paying attention very well. Same with rotating the camera so it clips a corner and you can get the stairs.

Honestly, it’s all just stupid that it’s even in the meta. ANet should just let us all zoom out and put us all on the same playing field for utilizing AC’s to their actual range. Until that happens though … certain tools should be discouraged as cowardly play, because it is “cheating”.

You can also shoot catapults over walls and through the gap as well. People been using these tricks since launch. You would think AC’s would be treated like all other AoE’s and not be able to target the way they do.
