The whole point is that SoR always show up regardless of the ppt. We never stress out for points, we play for fun and enjoy the fights even against the odds. It’s all about the positive attitude and morale enjoying the game, if you have it even a little help on top of that can turn the tides in your favour.

Gotta give props to the asura LoTD d/d thief I dueled on SoR BL about 2 hours ago. I was the s/d human thief. Great fight.

How can SoR be having fun? You own every keep in every BL.

Man did SoR pick up a few NA guilds too? I know they got Iron which is EU right. The NA coverage has always been Good… above average to good, but right now their NA is just crazy I swear every maps got 50-80 everywhere you look. Not hating mad props lookin good in na lately. I hate that all of jq NA guild gave up and jumped over to dragonbrand because sea time still goes strong if only we had some na again. I had a 2 minute queue on bgbl last night for the first time in who knows how long. Not counting reset night though

You can’t beat SoR on the forums. When they win the match, it’s because they’re better players and have higher morale. When they lose the match, it’s because they’re “taking a break” or “just in it for the fights”. No sense when they’re going to redefine the win condition and expect you to go along with it. “We play for fun”; everyone plays for fun, some of us just don’t make excuses when the match doesn’t go in our favor.

That being said, really enjoying seeing SoR and JQ’s Yak coverage. Having a great time ducking in and attempting to pick off heavily guarded dolyaks. You Yak-guarders are certainly tenacious, keep it up.

@Cerialkilla—-Not all of JQ’s NA has jumped shipped and left. Some of the guilds are still here and will continue to fight for the server.

SoR doesn’t have to devote a ton of time to take t3 keeps with full supply anymore.

What you are facing is the normal NA guilds that we have always had, I’m really not sure why you guys are throwing in the towel. About an hour or so ago JQ had 4 keeps now they have 1, taking a waypointed bay on BGBL received zero resistance from JQ. You guys are either too fickle to fight, or desperately need to readjust your strategies. All this pvdoor you are making us do is kinda embarrassing as you both are NA servers, giving up during the NA timeslot.

It may be the effect of EU bleeding into NA, not just EU players playing later but NA players having T3 keeps coming into their timezone allowing them to take more opposition keeps and towers rather than spending time defending and building up our own keeps.

SoR ticks so high during NA primetime because the enemy gave up. There is no resistance on many of the BLs anymore. I haven’t even seen certain BG/JQ guilds at all lately. Looks like a case of fairweather syndrome. That and when we wake up we actually have stuff, unlike before where SoR would be ticking near 0 before NA woke up.

SoR NA didn’t change. Events are still held with same numbers of guilds. I know FEAR has mandatory WvW attendence, TW is fielding the same, so is Choo and Tsym has done tons of recruiting lately.

Props to JQ for showing up during SEA time. You guys were rockin’ it.

Exactly but only for the past 2 weeks. Before that it was BG and JQ starting N/A with T3 keeps and full supplies. Did JQ or BG ever ticked at 445+ ppt during N/A prime time?
Nope. That is because our N/A never gave up.

NA servers can never use PvD during NA as an excuse. If you can’t field a few BLs during NA that is on you and your demoralized state. SoR hasn’t changed during NA for 1-2 months. Same people, same guilds.

This opponent change mechanism that ANet is introducing can’t come soon enough. I’m tired of T1 NA servers complaining about their NA time slot. You don’t get into T1 without NA presence.

If you can’t field the BLs, it may be time to move on down the tiers.

Server status doesn’t reflect the WvW population of a server. We’ve been down this road multiple times until Anet releases data on queue’s (if any etc) then we won’t know who has more world vs world pop.

I think it’s silly when when people bring up the FULL comment. Ever heard of PvE? TC is probably the best example.

It’s not so much the population of servers – ignore those that give that argument. What JQ and BG has to do now is motivate the current WvW population to come out and play. When SoR was in T2 againt BG, hell, even in T1 in the red position we would still come out in force each night. We have the same guilds coming each day and night with numbers that would play, if not to win, for fun. Play to socialise with guildmates inside WvW, or to show your server that WvW is still important enough that even when times are hard, the WvW guilds are still there fighting for the server.

I personally can say when SoR is demoralised (and we have been in the past) attendance drops. Fair weather players stop coming into WvW, and even the WvW guilds experience lower attendance to the WvW events at night – but there are still many players that will come out to play.

What I want to see is the same familiar guilds from BG and JQ – moreso from BG as JQ does seem to be putting up a fight. I KNOW that BG and JQ have those WvW guilds – I KNOW BG and JQ has the WvW population – they’re just not coming out to WvW to play. While there are exceptions and I am very happy to see consistent guilds out there even when the times are tougher, I would like to see BG and JQ out on the field in force for the spirit of the game. Jump on VIOP, try your best, and even if you lose or wipe, have a few laughs and enjoy the night – you’ll find your ppt increasing if you do so simply due to greater attendance and numbers out of the field.

Have to feel sort of bad for the recent BG transfers in Rise, WM, Meow, Thai, etc. They definitely did not transfer to BG for “PVE” content as that could be had anywhere.

All that gold farming to pay for transfers and look what it’s gotten them. BG, NA “FULL” server has basically given up for the 2nd straight week.

Does anyone have info about the matchups after May 28 update?

SoR did it right, in terms of building the server up.

As the other Rallians have mentioned, the WvW guilds are still out in full force. The numbers are roughly the same for Choo, TW, etc.

However, I am seeing names that I normally don’t see in WvW. They belong to guilds that are PvX or PVE. I also see Cursed Shore or LA commanders here in WvW (/nosarcasm). There’s probably about 25-35% more Rallians than usual. What is interesting however is that in SEA prime where hardcore JQ SEA fighters log in, we have still about the same number of WvW Rallians (Feb-Apr) with addition from IRON folks who play early.

This is a side effect of high morale and it spills over to folks who don’t normally want to enter WvW. It’s very normal and very very human, so I don’t blame if they decide not to WvW later if it gets crazy again when BG or JQ gets more folks into WvW.

I might want to add that high morale (and vice versa) spillovers are common across all 3 servers. So it’s no exception to SOR. Again, I don’t blame the PvE or PvX guys, they play their game their way, we play the game our way.

I have real life friends in SoR so I’m not bashing the server. But srsly, some of your forum warriors just need to stop. We’re on to you.

If you are new to wvw, you should know by now why Rallians are doing so well. It is because we have a proven North American guilds ready to fight for the cause. The only missing piece before was the EU. So now, as soon as the NA guilds start to roll out, we do not need to take care of our keeps since they are all prepared / sieged up for NA prime.

Its that simple.

And please, cut the crap out of this forums and giving reasons why your server is winning. If you lose, you lose – move on.
