Honestly though, once we settle out of first place, that’s where the magic really happens on TC. The fun starts, the good attitudes show up, the real fighting happens. First place lends itself to snarkiness (in game and forums) and boredom. Then the fairweathers flee when we have a changeup (like ths DB entry)….and the cycle repeats.

I don’t personally want, or care, about 1st place. I just want fun. If we lose the matchup and we have fun…so be it. Of course winning is fun too, in its own right, but I don’t think you have to be in 1st place to have fun. The first couple weeks of the KN/FA/TC matchup was perfect, imho. Each server kinda had its own time of day that they would dominate, so no one got disheartened.

I can attest to that. TC was fielding a good sized force last night and was a real challenge to slow down in the late evening.

+1. Although, nerfing the damage to personnel would be great too. As it stands, the encouragement to turtle and not fight is way too high and has been making the bulk of my forays into WvW not fun and even downright boring.

Though that run with you guys last night was FAR from boring. :-D I’m gonna be keeping an eye on your mumble channel from now on so I can join you in your stealth (non-cmdr) zergs. :P

Making keeps/towers paper all the time, removing arrow carts/ballistas, and throw points out the window and this game would be better.

Since you have SS’s and proof, PLEASE email Anet. They will be the ones to sort this out. We can only do so much. If they are truly hacking, the Mod’s will render judgement swift and sure. If they were hacking the rest of us want no part of it, guaranteed. Bringing this to forums only flames up drama we’ve all been really good at staving off this week.

This is Cadi/Zona Eshe signing off for the next week or so. May the borderlands be in your favor on reset! It’s been a blast DB and FA, hoping to get a little time to WvW, but doubt it. <3 to you all!

My prediction for next week results; DB wins by 40k+, TC takes 2nd from FA by 15k+

Also I’d like to mention that with the new buff whats the point of ramming down gates when the enemy tower can have like 3-5 superior arrow carts behind it killing the rams in less than a minute.

I think they should keep the buff however make it set to line of sight, if it hits a gate or wall it should not damage anything on the opposite side unless it has splash damage like catas or other weapons.

Either that or allow rams to have increase ramming distance.

No point of building siege on walls anymore just build them behind it O_o

The nice thing about Db compared to other servers that guild’s joined up with, we were already on the cusp of T2. These new guilds have made Db competitive here in T2, where if they hadn’t come here we would have had a lot of trouble outside of SEA primetime. I remember the demolishing during NA prime we got in T3 when FA or TC would drop down. There have been some great fights in T2 and I hope we can stay here for a bit. (just wish this lag would settle down)

Might not be able to get in on reset night. I’ll be helping my guild [ToA] host an event this Friday night in Cursed Shore. Should be fun.

I believe he is just a forum moderator….not a developer.

Might I suggest that people who cry foul first confirm their suspicions with friends/guildies/etc. before looking like fools. Oh… don’t post exploits here, I think Anet has made it very clear that threads like this aren’t the place for them.

Dear god man get over yourself. Just because there isn’t a hack category in the report tool doesn’t mean they don’t investigate them. I filed a ticket with screenshots when I saw an AC exploit and got an answer back within 3 hours.

If I was a company with the intent on actually policing the game, what would be the best way for my staff to get an accurate assessment in the quickest time possible?

A reporting tool that lets you pick an appropriate category, records character doing reporting, character being reported and thus all of their related information like server. It also records exact position in the game for both characters, exact server time stamp, and anything else that is needed, all wrapped up in a nice summary.

Or

An email address where I have no control over what information that is sent, no hard information on position, character IDs, time, etc.

I think the answer is pretty clear and since they already have a reporting tool which likely gets most of the information needed already, how hard is it to expand to include more categories? This is something that should have been added months ago and I do not think anyone should be making excuses for why it hasn’t.
