I don’t mind people leaving their own server for one in another tier, but you left it for a server IN THE SAME TIER. My choice of server to transfer to has zero relevance to my point. It also doesn’t void my knowledge of both servers. I am not self absorbed enough to think I am the difference and never even stated that. So take your opinions of transfers to someone who cares. Unless of course you wish to actually say something relevant to my comment?

At the time KREW were the super power on BP along with sbzy but the 2 guilds HATED one another and tore the first alliance to pieces. From there on BP has been re building re structuring the way our wvw is run.

Once upon a time EBay was the same. We had more fights in map chat with each other than with the enemy most nights and good luck seeing some of our guilds coordinate to even take a supply camp. We feel you, we went through “the exodus” to mags and others possibly at the same time as you.

What I like to do in WvW:

Step 1: Run around until I find a roaming 5-10 man AR or BP group.
Step 2: Get their attention by dashing in and hitting a few of them until one is downed, or I’m in trouble.
Step 3: Run away from them. But stay just close enough so they keep following you.
Step 4: Run until you find another group of the opposing AR/BP server.
Step 5: Run STRAIGHT THROUGH that group.

It makes me feel like I actually contribute as a solo roamer.

Yep because everything changes so drastically in a week. Every fellow commander I asked for assistance from when trebing eBay towers or keeps who previously claimed there was ‘no point hitting eBay’ has suddenly seen the light! Every commander who told me to give up attacking eBay because we would just get wiped and lose all our pugs has grown a pair?

When I can take a 5 man into eBay BL, build a ballista and kill all the NW towers siege, build 2 superior rams (so resupply three times) and take the fully fortified fully supplied tower at the end of it all, all that says is you guys obviously don’t get pressured enough to actively stay on your map.

Not too sure if you know this but WvW is a 24 hour a day 7 days a week kind of affair.
There have been plenty of fights between all 3 servers if you look at all the maps.

Like Ebay bl just today, we had some good 3 way fights over supply camps especially.

Do you consciously choose to ignore this or do you just not know what’s happening outside of the immediate fights you are in?

Ps. Wait, you’re complaining about this tier but then you transfer from this tier TO THIS TIER? I am even more confusticated now.

All I’ve been doing this week when I log on at night is defending AR BL from EBay AND BP. Night before last we had Ebay pounding at Bay while BP took hills and was trying to treb Garri from Longview. So we don’t have to go very far to “fight another server” — you’re both in our backyard every night. No complaints here though — that’s what WvWvW is about. Plus, I’m lazy and makes it easier to find a fight. Sounds like you not only needed a server change, but are in dire need of a diaper change too.

Guys, seriously, just leave the transfers alone. It does make sense if it makes them enjoy WvW more and no amount of complaining from anyone changes that. If they had underdog mentality and left EBay for BP or AR, great for them. If they left AR for BP and now they feel like they can finally get the support they craved to attack the top dog, good for them too. If they left either to join EBay because of whatever reason, we will welcome them in with open arms.

If they were passionate WvW players, it’ll be a great addition to any server they join. If they were casuals looking for more fun then there’s a good chance they will be the first ones out the door when we are in BP’s shoes in a face off against SoS in T4. Either way, only time will tell what impact, if any, a small scale transfer has on anyone. Yelling about it in this matchup thread as if any of us had any insight into anyone else’s mind and game experience is futile.

Good call. A lot of the people that transferred are good friends and good players. I hope they do well and look forward to fighting them in WvW. Nothing will be done talking about it on the forums. If a player wants to leave AR for another server in our tier, that’s fine. I don’t have any respect for them, but hey do what makes you happy. And besides I have no doubt they couldn’t care less about my respect as I am just some random person they don’t even know.

I really should just take a weekend and do some analysis on it and come up with a more set list of side-effects. But from preliminary observations I think you are right, I think I can safely say for now that some side-effects include:

1) Memory loss
2) Overconfidence
3) Can cause mood swings

What really worries me though is how much it’s pushed in today’s culture. For instance, I just walked back from a coffee run and I saw two underage kids in an alley way downing a bottle of said kool-aid. Really makes me sad, I think it’s our job as adults and parents to teach our kids the consequences of going down such a dark and lonely path.

Anyways, I guess it’s just because I have 12 kids that I’m getting so emotional about this, but when you’ve known close friends who have been addicted and eventually become non-functional because of Kalkz Kool-Aid, you tend to take it really personally. I’m going to go cry and get back to work, this is bringing back too many memories…

The real tragedy is that Kalkz Kool-Aid has a 100% mortality rate. All it takes is one time and you’re a goner. Most frequent casue of death listed in these cases is acute Lewt Bagitist. Its just sad…….

Sadly this will never happen. As soon as a guild hits resistance against Ebays defense they pull off and start hitting bp’s since it is an easier target. If we could coordinate it, the pugs would blast each others border lands and kitten us off leading to what we have encountered for the past month of hitting each other. WvW is about taking risks and accomplishing things you never thought you could.
