What a crazy night, and its only midnight! Just had a crazy 3 way skirmish in our hills on vizunah map. First the vizunah omega golems knocked on the north door, then the piken melee train came charging in.
Congrats to piken for finally taking it. You guys have some really impressive players on tonight!
Maybe we can get a waypoint in there by tomorrow and we can do it all over again!

And that was us with our open raid people. This late into the night its very hard to keep up your numbers with guild members so we go open tag at this time. That hills cap was really awesome. Both SFR and VS showed some real fighting spirit out there. VS for actually trying to push us out of the Hills by fighting us and not making this look as bad as it is always does. And SFR for not sitting behind their fortified keep and actually try to push us out of the keep and not even once. It was a very satisfying end to our raid.

Why do Vizuna blobs always run away and port out from 70% of fights? Most of their players do it too unless they outnumber the enemy. I have even had fights where I am outnumbered winning a 2v1 or 3v1 fight and they both run away even when they are more than me. It is a very cowardly way to play. No over server runs away like this. What is the point in playing WvW if you just PVD or only fight when you outnumber the enemy or have the advantage? Aren’t your commanders embarrassed to always run away?

Hey it’s not negative, it is positive because maybe EU WvW servers will get an answer so we can understand this ‘tactic’ of vizu. Nothing wrong with asking questions.
Let me shed a bit of light on this behavior.
Viz is a pug dominated server, that means they lose morale fast. Instead of dying to an organised enemy, they rather retreat into safety (warcamp), which has also the additional effect that you (their enemy) will lose temper and be lured anywhere they want.
Not everyone plays this game for epic fights.
PU blob vs guilds (or SFRJ guild-led PUGs, idc). Commander asks for repack, 10 guys follow him, 40 keep FFA-ing.
Also, a good bunch of commanders in training whose primary field is logistics, not drawn out fights. Add the aforementioned lack of discipline, and you get a global loss of confidence and growing tiredness.
At least that’s what happened on VSBL Aska tonight (from 11.30 at least). And IMO ofc. Commander on schedule could not join the BL due to the queue. Zelegant still did a good job, props to him.

First time seeing a +0 tick since the start of the season. Tonight was an interesting night. I’d like to say a “thank you” to the people on Piken being online in EB , even though it’s Saturday night, a time that we traditionally have no one online.
It’s a shame seeing a server like SFR ticking absolute zero, it reminds me a little of the SFR-Riverside-Piken matchup and the weird ticks during that matchup.

Let them double team all they want, but Vizu’s 1st place and Piken’s 3rd will just be laughable because all servers know Piken and Vizuna can’t win without each others help.
Just relax and enjoy the extra bags were getting from winning twice as many fights. This week I have been earning far more gold than ever before. It’s just too bad that it seems many SFR have decided to take this week off after only 1 day, matchup is far from over.

Yeah if you say so buddy. It’s just too bad you couldn’t prove it. The gold dolyak finisher will carry as much weight as when someone buys an olympic medal off ebay. Just because you have one doesn’t mean people think you deserve or earned it. The last time Vizuna fought us fair they lost so I guess the statistics speak for themselves sorry. Guess no one including Vizuna will ever know if they really deserved to win the league. Either way the only sure thing is that no other server will respect Vizuna or Pikens final placing and will just scoff and laugh if they use their league finisher.
@rotsono JS is in last atm so we will see what the week brings. Same thing however applies, Jade Sea are no where near the level of SFR so their second place really doesn’t carry much merit. They got lucky with their matchups and all players know this.

Defending a keep against two servers attacking it can cause you to stay at <50 tick for a really long time. Knowing that it would fall eventually, making that <50 tick last for many hours isn’t a good idea. Ignoring it and focusing on smaller objectives can give you a ~100 tick.
I don’t know if he let it fall thinking about it or whether he just stopped trying to defend it but it’s not a bad strategy.

Adding a paper keep to the list of paper bases doesn’t seem all that helpful if the double teaming continues after losing the keep. Reflipping might fix the swiss cheese walls for a while but it’ll be even easier to knock them down again anyway.

why dont you attack them though when all our side of eb is blue whats your excuse there you would rather try and upgrade our stuff while all our players are asleep to post a screenshot as some sort of prestige? besides i agree its logical to attack the server that is being attacked by the other one but whenever we attack you piken just attacks us whenever we attack piken you attack us all day in sfr bl you were attacking sunnyhill and piken were attacking cragtop and you trading garrison neither attacked anything of the other just us all day no matter what piken says with their tactics its clear why they attack us cause they simply dont like us(also the fact that they couldn’t do anything to either sfr or vizunah unless one is attacking the other anyway) and you dont give a crap about piken you just want to defeat us as the biggest threat

I am not denying anything, just saying what I see and what the statistics are. Guess we will never know who should have won the league, what you say is just words with nothing to back it up, SFR beating Vizu before league in a fair fight is facts. All Vizu have done so far is double team SFR so no one will ever know the true result. The first matchup was not an agreed double team but it was ‘presumed’ because of the mutually beneficial gains for both teams. Either way it was still a double team. Vizu barely attacked piken either so you can’t put all blame on Piken. We even saw piken and vizu players /wave at each other as they passed, you can’t lie about it because we were there, we saw it! Now this last matchup is an agreed double team but it doesn’t really matter because most of SFR are loving the constant fights, too bad we will never know who the better league server was though. No one will respect Vizu or Pikens league scores because of this. Piken don’t deserve third and we don’t know if Vizu would have come first without Pikens help. Oh well, at least SFR can be proud of their servers result.

The whole league is a joke anyways you talk about respect and stuff thats stupid in my opinion.
As long as the winner is who plays more PvD at times where others sleep you cant take it serious.
Btw is doubleteam the stronger Server that what ANet wants so dont blame the servers for it.
SFR did that several times in the past against Vizu where Desolation was one of the top servers.
By the way, I hit “/wave @” to any opponent that I don’t wish to fight, including SFR ones. Just saying.
Well it sure strange that such a sight has never/rarely been seen before that matchup, where as it happened many times during the first league match. To be honest it just sounds like an attempt of justification to me, however such attempts are not going to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes no matter how you spin it unfortunately.
