First, I want to say Wow this was an amazing update! This is one of the best PvE updates I have yet to experience. Here are some things you need to look out for (no spoilers).

Get your stun breaks ready!

Almost all of the mobs in the tower have some type of knockdown or immobilization skill, breaking free at right time means the difference between life and death.

Passive regen is your friend!

As you can imagine there is poison everywhere, with multiple poison fields stacking constantly. Use [Antitoxin Spray] to stave off the poison. Better yet, use a skill/trait that brings passive regen such as the Soothing Mists sub-trait.

Eles have a distinct advantage.

Based on what i;ve experienced, bring an ele with you. Their passive heals and the insane DPS from [Conjure Frost Bow] and [Conjure Fiery Greatsword] on large targets makes a difference as well as skills such as [Healing Rain] which offer large healing fields. (You are going to be kiting alot!)

Bring a full party.

This is a bit of a given, however I find it hard to make it past the mobs without perma-swiftness or constant CC [Unsteady Ground] for example. Stick together in dungeons, as some of your friends will most likely fall to poison first rather than the mobs.

The tri-key chest is right before the final boss room.

There is a chest right before you go into the boss room that you cant miss, double click on one of the multicolored keys if you have them to make a tri-color key and unlock the chest. (The diving goggles are on the edge of the same platform).

first of all, just zerg to the top, bring condition cleaners, stun breakers and swiftness.

have a party of 3-4 to enter the different instances in the way, no need to have a full party, also it looks like they scale with more people.

for final instance I did it first with 3 (story), then a second time with 4 (explorer), really easy.

the content at least looks fresh which is nice, but is very easy as long as there is a zerg to keep going up

There are diving goggles? So this means that tower will stay permanent(cause of the achievements for goggles and they can’t remove them suddenly).

Is there also soloable stuff(those instances)? Or everything group only? I wasn’t there yet. Patch nodes said something that you could do some stuff solo?

So far from reading the forums I can tell that while you need to run with the zerg because it’s impossible to do solo, you should be able to solo it in zerker gear in about 15 minutes…

So yeah lots of hyperbole hereabouts…

So far from reading the forums I can tell that while you need to run with the zerg because it’s impossible to do solo, you should be able to solo it in zerker gear in about 15 minutes…

you can run solo to the instance as long as theres no events in the way.

Oh. So it’s a special achievement only for these goggles then. Haven’t checked all the small achievements yet. Walked with zerg until that first chamber thing and that was totally soloable. Only normal mobs + vets.

One by the chest before the instance and one accessed in the instance after beating the boss.

So after we did all the achievements we only have to farm the keys for that chest for chance on rare skin? Can chest be opened permanently without CD as long as you have keys? Or only once per day?

Other stuff probably not interesting to farm. And only to do minimum required for achievements.

A ranger on apothecary or settler gear (probably other classes too) can just run through the place dodging here and there. Just use troll unguent (or whatever it’s called), you don’t need the new heal skill anywhere. Also not in any of the new dungeons, which are completely solo’able.
