So we had Molten Alliance, Toxic Alliance and some smaller groups like Aetherblade. But it seems Scarlet likes to manipulate people into alliances.

What do you think will be the next alliance?

I want Karka x Zephyrite Alliance. Lol. And then making some Hybrid. Huge Karka x Human thing that can – despite being that huge – move fast with aspects power. Then a map like Sanctum Sprint with that boss at end where you need to sprint up fast and destroy him before he finishes a ritual that makes him too strong so he could devour the whole world.

On the way up “small” champs will try to knock you down.

Norn are the only ones without. Would guess sons of Svanir are here next recuits. Unless she finally goes after her real target.

@Cirian: Interesting notion, but Tengu can’t fly. Their appearance has evolved/mutated quite a lot in a couple hundred years, but they’re land-based creatures:

“Tengu lost the ability of flight some time in the distant past, but can use their almost human hands to wield all manner of weapons—when they want to.” (source)

Just you watch, the Skritt will end up being the key to defeating the Insane Yet Boring Villainess. They’re the only race other than Sylvari that apparently can’t be turned into Risen or Icebrood. You see risen chickens running around in Orr, for Grenth’s sake, but there’s nary a Skritt anywhere. Same with the Shiverpeaks, not a single Icebrood Skritt to be found. They’re small and only have collective intelligence, so that will somehow work in their favor: they’re no more than worthless and contemptible vermin to Scarlet, so she ignores them — at her peril.

Hey, it wouldn’t be any worse than the alleged “story” we’ve gotten so far.

Logically, it could be the Sons of Svanir – we already had

The grawl are a logical choice, but unfortunately, they have proven already that they will ally with whoever, including the Sons of Svanir, without Scarlet’s influence… OR HAVE THEY dun-dun-dunnnn

I am waiting for the Elder Dragon Alliance!! Scarlet tames the Elder Dragons and use their now submissive puppies to annoy us.

Scarlet’s minions so far have been:
Molten alliance: Moletariate Dredge + Flame legion.
Aetherblades: Pirates + Inquest.
Steam creatures: Unknown. From an alternate world.
Twisted Watchwork: Corrupted human illusionary watchwork golems.
Toxic Alliance: Nightmare court + Krait.

The remaining ones that have some reason and may produce factions within their ranks that could split and join an alliance made by scarlet are:

• Centaurs. We know some split, tired for the war.
• Bandits. Not all of them know the plans of those paying them. And thy have already allied with the inquest and nightmare court. It would not be rare for them to make new alliances.
• Separatists and renegades. Only one of them. They’d never work together.
• Sons of Svanir. You tell a bunch of these fools you are doing something for “dragon” and you have them eating in the palm of your hand.
• Shadow creatures. If there’s still any that can reason. Currently there’s only beastly ones like aatxes and shadow beasts. But there were talking human-shaped ones in the past.
• Demonic elementals like imps and the forgotten demons like Dhuum’s, if any able to reason were to come back.
• Mursaat… are there even any left?
• Largos. You never know what a renegade group of these could do.
• Jotun. Among them there’s still a few intelligent enough to lead a group of them into an alliance, yet not smart enough to know the problem they are getting into.

But it seems that these alliances use mostly enemies from the dungeon stories.

If you look at the main enemies of each dungeon you get:

1. Ghosts.
2. Bandits
3. Nightmare court.
4. Dredge. Inquest.
5. Flame legion.
6. Sons of Svanir, icebrood.
7. Inquest. Also Destroyers, Icebrood, and Risen. Branded, “bubbles” and Mordremoth minions are not present at this moment, though.
8. Risen.

From those, ghosts and dragon minions cannot be reasoned with.
Nightmare court, dredge, inquest and flame legion are already used.

That leaves bandits and sons of Svanir.

So, the next alliance would be bandits + sons of Svanir.

There you have it.

It’s getting to the point of becoming Mass Effect 2 where people are being combined into form a massive Reaper, thanks to the Collectors “alliance”, while Cerberus “alliance” is trying to stop us from destroying it because they want the technology for themselves.

Maybe we can form one next time. We pulled together lesser races & formed The Pact in our personal story in anticipation of fighting the dragons, so clearly we understand the value of a good alliance. Maybe forge one with the Koda and the Hylek. One ally on the northern front, another to the south, ready to react to Scarlet’s next tantrum.

Inquest allied with Aetherblades after dragon bash, although it didnt’seem to last much. Flame Legion allied with Dredge and Krait allied with Nightmare Court.
So factions left are Sons of Svanir, Centaurs, Bandits, Separatists and Ascalonian Ghosts. I can picture Sons of Svanir allying with Centaurs, or Bandits going along with Separatists. Not sure if Ghosts would even consider it.

Dragon minions aren’t going to join any alliance, so count out Icebrood, Risen, Destroyers and Branded.

That being said, how many times can a level 10 Son of Svanir get his behind kicked by a level 80 female character before realising that the stuff he keeps saying about strength and weakness is hogwash? I’m talking about you, skill challenge in Wayfarer’s.

Svanir + Jotun maybe

Elder Dragon Alliance was created due to Zhaitan defeat – the beasts are more intelligent than we thought. Lion’s Arch will be attacked from all four sides. The dark times has come. Tyrians and their little parties ceased. The world trembles beneath the shadows of their wings. Scarlet is behind it all. The human gods asked for Abaddon’s aid. Trahearne was assassinated. The Pact is in shambles. Now the heroes of Tyria must stand united or die separately.

Scarlet’s a manipulator, not a negotiator. The sons of svanir don’t have to listen to her to do what she wants. Similarly for dragon minions, you could have bandits or someone “discover” how to control them via pheromones, or other random gizmos you make up on the spot.

No more alliances. I just want to kill humanoids carrying swords and shields.

I think it will be the icebrood and the skirtt, but nobody will care a rat’s ice about it.

If they seriously create yet another alliance I will go berserk! It’s already a bit of a joke.

LOL but seriously, they would just kill her themselves and take all her loot. Those princess dolls are far more horrifying then anything Scarlet has done.

Did the end cut scene imply she was moving on (pun intended) now? No more Scarlet, at least for a while. You know. Until she sees us first, or whatever it is she says

after hearing her last warning I got to thinking and she’s gonna be hiding in plain sight watching us and we won’t even know its her till its to late so its likely gonna be some kinda attempt at starting a civl war which leads to the Char/Separtists war.

There will be no more alliances. That’s the clue behind the tri color key and the picture for the next LS update. The alliances are complete.
